Volunteers of America Thrift Store– Brunswick

This store has turned itself around. Literally. The old location was dirty and pretty gross. The whole store felt outdated and not inviting. The new location is 100% the opposite. The new store is also much bigger and therefore has way more stuff. The employees are almost always kind. The pricing is reasonable. Parking is never a problem. Of the 2 VOA’s on the west and south side of Cleveland, this one is much nicer. Definitely worth a visit if you have never been!

Volunteers of America used to be so good but the newly opened store is horrible. Now their clothing for men and women are really junky and ugly. I used to buy from them frequently but since April 13 I haven't bought any item of clothing for men or women. The Goodwill next to them has better clothing for men and women. Since they moved to their new store in April of 2024 I rarely ever find anything there. Their clothing for men is hideous and the clothing for women is not much better. Since April 2024 I have bought 1 item of womens clothing and not one clothing item for a man. The clothes they have here now look like they came from a 3rd world country. Now they have no small, usable items for computers like they used to have. They now have plastic bags filled with unrecognizable junk. Their items are hidden in the bag and only the first row of junk is recognizable. The Goodwill next door to it has become my new favorite stores Their mens clothing is great, and so are their other items.

I love their new location! I found this rug there for my bedroom. Good condition and reasonable price!

Last Tuesday of the month is the sale day, *Store is big and nice, so are the people.

Such a nice store, the layout is perfect its clean and organized, I had a great shopping experience today, wow!! 2 thumbs up, and the staff is great, kind and waiting to help, I seen them helping customers the whole time I was there!! My favorite place to shop!! They still have decent prices for a reseller to flip! The girl at cash register gave me an Umbrella to use because it was pouring rain and my windows were down she also help me read what type of jewelry I was looking at she was so sweet!!! The guy that sometimes works the register today he was putting away products is really sweet and helpful to

My favorite thrift store! Amazing selection, and they have a lot of great vintage items, which I love. Prices are always great (especially for clothes!), and the staff is so nice. I lost my wallet here a while back, and they were really helpful and kind.

Great thrift store for vintage stuff. I've found some amazing things over the years. Nice selection of clothes, too. I've been to several of their locations but this one is my favorite.

Don't Ever Change! You are perfect just the way you are!!! I am not buying any brand new clothing or shoes for the whole year in 2022, and I LOVE this thrift store. The quality and quantity of shoes is unmatched at any area thrift stores. There is a great mix of new and vintage clothes of all sizes, and everything is organized more by color and type and not by size. but there is something for everyone, this weekend I shopped and I saw just as many 00 jeans as I did 3X and 4X, so they have prioritized having all sizes. Their prices are extremely fair and almost all clothes, even name brand recent clothes, are priced very very low. Only about 10% of items are priced higher due to being name brand or higher dollar. And there are plenty of name brand perfect condition options priced at 2-3 buck as well.

Best Thrift Store in Brunswick. I've shopped here for several years for different items. However, I've noticed a real change in this store over the past year. It's upped its game on nice clothing and it's layout is really easy to shop. In the past month we've found a suit for Homecoming, dress shirts & pants for a tween and khakis perfect for a new job at a fast food restaurant. It's saved our family $100 on clothes. Keep up the good work.
