Every time I go to Dayton, I make sure to stop in at Feather's! Always have a good price, and usually when the lady is there, really nice and friendly!!

Been to this thrift store multiple times and every time I take home some great finds. The store has recently been reorganized and it’s very lovely and more roomy than before. The store always has a good record playing and incense burning. Love to come here for graphic shirts, bandannas and sterling silver rings. Fair prices and a great selection of vintage finds! The guy who runs the store is always very friendly and great to talk to.

Great prices for an antique/vintage store. There are a lot of unique treasures to find here, and the staff is very friendly! Cash only, so be prepared!

It's a great store with great prices. Arguably the best record prices and selection in the city. They don't have a vast ammount of records like other record stores but the records they have are gems.

I have found more than amazing things each time I've been there!  The people I've talked to who work there (esp the owner)  she is so very nice and has exceptional tastes in vintage things.  Also there is such a wide variety of things she has in the store!  It's like visiting a museum!  So much of the coolest things all around and organized in such a fashion to invite and excite people just walking by even!  5 stars!!!!!  Totally wanna go there now! ;)

Great store, you can find a lot of wonderful vintage things here and the owner is wonderful! They have everything from clothes to records. You never know what you will find!

I adore Feathers.  The atmosphere is welcoming.  I always manage to find something to take home.  Great selection of vintage clothes and every now and then I get lucky and find some pieces that fit.  On my last visit I got two stunning dresses from the 50's and some great hats. I receive numerous compliments when I wear them and always say that it's vintage and came from Feathers.  Prices are reasonable and I love to support a locally owned business downtown.

Lots of people have said that shopkeepers have been rude but every time I visit they are kind and helpful.

Interesting variety of vintage clothing. Didn't find what I was looking for though.

I brought in some vintage clothing for the owner to evaluate and purchase.  She helped me with parking since the area has limited parking with access to her store.  She looked at my clothing in the parking lot and took many items, including some tee shirts with different logo's! I was disappointed in the monetary amount she offered for everything but took the offer since I didn't want it to be thrown out at Goodwill.

Not very organized. Didn't have much from the 60s. The guy behind the counter wasn't help at all to discuss wjat they had or didn't have.

Son is kinda snobby bring in cool stuff that's worth money and barely looks at it . I am in the clothing buissnes myself and the mother is kinda rude herself was at the thrift when a rack came out she made sure that she was in the way so I couldn't have a look myself to purchase items
And also the son always ask let me know if u need help with something like your going to take something

Called to ask if they are hiring and she rudely said no.

Disappointing and unprofessional.
I visited this store with my family, and while browsing, my sister found a record she was genuinely excited about purchasing. Just as she picked it up, the store owner approached her, apologized, and informed her that the record was no longer for sale—he had decided to set it aside to give as a gift to someone else. No sign indicated it wasn't for sale, and it was displayed alongside other items, as if it were available like everything else.

Instead of offering an apology that acknowledged the inconvenience, he casually dismissed the situation by saying, “There are thousands of other things in here for sale you can find.”

The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially for a retail setting. If items aren't for sale, they shouldn't be out on display. It's one thing to reserve an item in advance, but to remove it from availability after a customer has already expressed interest is poor practice. Definitely left a bad taste and made the whole visit feel awkward and frustrating.

Wouldn't recommend based on this experience.

Wow must choose words carefully. We've been in business 46+ years have had multiple generations of people come in from all walks of life all over the world. We are sorry you feel this way. We do reserve the right to pass on anything brought in for any reason.  There are no guarantees in life.  That being said we disagree with your assessment and wish you hadnt aired this so publicly but life is to short to obsess over minutia like this negativity.  We have Multiple five star reviews! The owner is openly racist and will lie in your face about how she acquired the clothing, high prices and she’s claims to be too old to know how to trade or lower her prices she literally said to me. I used to enjoy the store in 2016 but going recently I can tell the owner needs to retire  her judgment of items is very bad id say. Unless you’re a white woman I wouldn’t even try to sell to her. I brought in a vintage Lacoste navy blue dress very clean , she said “wow this is kinda nice but I don’t like the material” what does the material have to with any random person coming in and wanting to buy it. Things like that don’t make sense to me . I even tested it and sent in a friend of mine who is white with the same items a week later and she bought almost all of them instead of how she told me no on everything… I wouldn’t support this business at all.
