I could not believe how excellent the prices were here. So many good items at seriously GREAT prices. They run sales according to various colors of tags which bring the prices down even more. Staff was friendly and things were well organized! Definitely check it out!

Best Thrift Store in OKC!!! 🫶🏼 I come here once a week because most things are priced to sell, I keep coming back because I find so many great things that aren’t over priced plus they are constantly rotating their inventory 🙌🏽

There was this cutie who worked in the front, he was the kindest person I ever met. Always smiling cracking jokes and making me feel so safe. His hospitality and business swagger has me swooning. I’ll definitely be back after this wonderful visit!

Customer service for the most part is great. Two women in particular are very nice and helpful. Not sure their names. They have good deals but you have to get there fast because there is one older man there everyday when they get new stuff in on Monday and he sits there all day with helpers who grab everything unique, especially vintage, very quickly!

The store is pretty organized and have a lot of selections. Different colored tags have different discounts, I’ve found some really nice and modern pieces here, will be back again.

We have found really great items at Bargain Thrift on NW 23rd, okcy!  Stock is clean and presentable, staff is helpful and courteous! John is kind and accommodating ! WE will keep shopping here.

Reasonable prices and good selection of men's and women's clothing. Lots of housewares, furniture, frames, and printers. Huge selection of mugs and glasses. The back area needs some organizing but generally a good stop on a thrift day.

A genuine thrift store, 10$ will buy you so many things here. They have just about anything a person could expect from a thrift store. I always end up walking out with something I like. The prices here are *cheap* and I think they do a good job of making sure it is not just total junk on the shelves. Always end up finding some hidden gems.

I do a lot of thrift shopping when possible and it is one of the good stores.  Every time I've been there everybody is a very very nice the store is clean and organized most of the time they have great deals. you never know what kind of treasures you're going to find.

This is my favorite Thrift Store! I shop there at least twice a week. The employees are very friendly, helpful, and kind. The store is very clean and organized. All the items are clean, and have always worked for me. Even when they are swamped with customers, they take time to listen and help if they can. They never rush or make you feel like they are hurrying you through the line like cattle. It always makes me feel good when I go in the store, and I always leave smiling. I recommend this store to everyone. Go check it out for yourself! You won't regret it!

I have been coming here for years and I never fail to find something cool and interesting.  Tons of stuff to go through no matter what you are looking for.  The staff is always friendly and helpful.  This is one of my favorite thrift stores in OKC.

One of our favorite thrifts!  Prices are still very reasonable, unlike a lot of the other thrifts I visit. Lots of merchandise--this is a big store, so be ready to spend some time digging. Merchandise seems to turn very quickly as we are in there once a week at least and are always finding something new. I've seen lots of comments about unfriendly workers, but everyone we've worked with has been really helpful--and I always ask to see the stuff behind the glass, which I'm sure is super annoying. But everyone gets it for me with a smile.  Don't miss Bargain thrift if you like hunting for a good deal!

I just found this thrift store today and all I can say is WOW on the prices it's like almost everything is on sale.  Great bargains and great stuff.  I'm definitely going back there.  Now I have found my thrift store( only bad thing is no dressing room) but no one beats their prices any where!!! Trust me I traveled all over okc today

We were looking for cheap costume pieces for the kids found a lot of great deals got my son's entire hobbit costume put together for only $9 definitely worth a peek

Large, has a lot of stuff and seems to be a decent place to kill time. Aisles are too thin to accommodate passing by people most of the time but all the areas are labeled and their current sale of the day is advertised physically in various places.

Much cleaner and more organized than I've seen in a long time. It's been a long time since I have been there, several months. Their prices are still reasonable. I found lots of good bargains!!!

Pretty neat spot for thrifters. I didn't check out the clothes but there are a LOT of clothes. Good spot for people who need to set up their starter homes, or to get some decor for staging homes. Lots of decor and dishes, lamps, furniture. Very friendly cashier. I will add this to my list of thrift stores to check out every month or so.

They did not have much to purchase, however my friend found 3 pair of very nice jeans between $1.98 and $5.00 each score! I picked up a very nice, like new pair of perfectly fitting denim capris. YAY me.

I love this place, as they have the best deals with three colors on sale instead just one like the goodwill and other thrift stores. I do think this place needs more staff to be able to keep the store clean though. There is never enough workers for how big this place is and you can tell the workers are stressed everytime you go there. Otherwise I really love this place.

I love this store. Great prices and great deals/and  Sunday sale day  50 % off. Something to  buy EVERYTIME  I shop. It would be nice if the clientele would clean up their messes instead of drag the items they look at all over the store. The blonde hair ,blue eyed man that works in the evening is very handsome ( his wife is lucky)  He is very friendly and helpful as well. He is always moving... I hope this store is around for many years to come.

I come here frequently and there is usually something I need. They have alternating sales on different colors each week. Good prices. My only problem is that they use stickers that are exceptionally difficult to remove, so if you buy anything paper, like a book, that sticker isn't coming off there with out ripping something.

It is one of my favorite thrift stores, mainly because of the price. I strongly dislike that they don't have dressing rooms to try on the clothes (and, unlike some thrifts without them, they won't even let you use the restrooms). But, I just walked out with a skirt, something for my kids, a warm winter hat, 4 pair of dress pants plus a skirt, all for $7. I'll be bummed if some of the pants don't fit well, but since I paid between $0.30-$2.99 per pair, I think I'll get over it.
The store is decently clean and, while the clothes aren't organize by size, they are generally easy to look through (all hung on racks; no boxes or bins to dig through).

I don't know I may be paranoid but pretty sure I was being watched by employees there I don't know what a person looks like that steals from thrift stores but Im beginning to think they must or have to look just like me I'm guessing

Not a bad spot. Books were what I was after. An okay selection from local sources. Things were well-priced as well and not just the books. They had a vast glassware selection and the clothing wasn't bad. The cashier was very quick and willing to help the 10 people that were up there with me at checkout. Might swing by again in a month to see what's "new."

Has some unique and different things I might turn into new things or upcycle. I thought some of the prices were high for what was was offered.

I've never been to this store until this past week.  I found a blanket I liked but without notice, I had to separate the sells tag to make sure the blanket wasn't torn.  After look it over, it was in good shape!  Went the the register to learn the tag wasn't on there (it fell off).  I was told they couldn't sell it to me BUT I could talk to the mgr, David.  Well he was some what rude and wouldn't even make an effort to at least get a price for me.  He told me I would have to come back tomorrow which I told him, I was leaving to go back home - out of state.  I don't understand why this place doesn't have a back-up system to show prices if tags are off/wrong or not put on right by the store!!  I know this store is helping out for a good cause but I won't be going there again!  Oh, also watch what you pay at the register, the discounts your suppose to get that are color coded didn't happen with me.  So always check before you leave!

Nothing was categorized in sizes you have tons of clothes all out of order and it was a mess

Yesterday evening around 4:50 to 5:00 I was in line with my son a lady came raging up the aisle and started screaming at the cashier it was embarrassing I felt bad for the gentleman I will never go to this place again because they allow their managers to be rude to their employees I hope the guy is okay and I hope she gets in trouble. Other than that the prices are great and the selection is good. Too bad my family and friends will never be back to the store this is not the only time I've seen this lady screaming at employees it happens quite often I wish they would do something about it thank you.

This place used to be one of my favorite thrift stores 😏 I've been going there for OVER 15 years. The last two or three times I've been in...I can hardly find a price tag of the colors that are on sale. It's the middle of May and even their hoodies were "original price". Their prices are starting to remind me of Goodwill (not a compliment) 😬. The workers are always very friendly though, so that's good.

I used to love going to this place- way out of my way, but over the past few years, I’ve began to notice that it’s not like it used to be. Higher prices and less friendly staff. I’ve sat at the front waiting on cashiers for long periods of time, when one finally comes, rarely has there been an apology. I believe there should always be a cashier there at all times. Not once have I gone to other stores and seen the cashiers on the floor and not behind the counter. And if you ring the bell they have sitting there, someone should make an attempt to come and not continue to let you wait for mins on in.

Another thing that I was disappointed with was that you can’t buy an item and come back to pick it up.
I was thrilled I’d found a buffet table, something I’d been looking out for for awhile and there it was! Unfortunately on this day, I was in my car, and not in the hubby’s truck. I asked a cashier if I could pay and come back later once my husband got off work and I was told they don’t do that. Was told I could come back later and see if it was there- remember this place is out of my way (way on the other side of town) and chances are, it’s not going to be there. So I was really unhappy about that and I’ve not been back since.
I found a gem closer to home that I find great deals at and with the option to buy and pick up later if necessary- which is a big deal for many people. Customers don’t always go to thrift stores knowing what they are looking for but when that item just appears, it’d be nice to buy it on the spot.

Unfortunately this thrift uses a very thin paper sticker to price their books that is literally impossible to come off cleanly from most books. I buy a lot of books from thrifts but I don't go here because of this. I decided to stop by yesterday since I was in the area to check to see if they were still ruining their books and saw that they were. I bought these 2 books pictured thinking the stickers might come off cleanly. They didn't. You can see what this does to books. Because the stickers are such thin paper with such a strong glue, you can't use adhesive remover on them because that ruins the books even more. These price stickers are the worst quality I've ever seen and I go to a lot of thrifts, even other items like plastic and glass have to be soaked to get them off. I would buy a lot of books from them but I don't because they use this poor quality sticker. I don't understand why you would ruin your inventory and prevent two big markets from buying them...collectors & resellers. Why even price the books? Most thrifts have a set price for hardbacks, paperbacks and magazines. Doing that would save your staff some work and save you money.

I brought a donation of clothing. I rang the doorbell. No one ever answered. The place sucks if you asked me I went over to Goodwill and got waited on immediately. I thought this was the league for the blind thrift store, but apparently it isn’t anymore

Today while shopping with my wife, I was waiting on her and witness an employee treat a customer very rudely. A young lady was looking at items on shelves when an employee (A man with glasses and short hair) came around the corner and wanted to put something away where she was. The young lady didn’t even appear to notice the employee until after he loudly sighed and made a fuss about where she was standing. He then sat the item on the shelf very harshly and continued to huff and puff and shake his head. I thought that alone was rude of the employee but was going to ignore it assuming maybe he was having a bad day. The thing that made me leave this review is the fact that I then overheard him VERY LOUDLY telling another employee at the register how annoying customers were being today and that he had been “chased” and “stiff armed” by customers today and that “he had things to do” and that customers were just getting in his way. I’m hearing this conversation and his coworker is actually feeling sorry for him when in actuality he was very much in the wrong for the way he was conducting himself as an employee of that business. I told my wife when we got in the car that we would not be returning to this store if the employees are going to be this incredibly rude to their customers.

Side note: They were also complaining about how busy it was and that it was probably because of the Facebook ads that people were coming in.

A positive is that the shorter lady working the cash register was very friendly and kind to the customers while we were there shopping.

To the employee with the short hair and glasses, I hope your day gets better sir…..

Bought a Kierug and it didn’t work there policy sucks that they wouldn’t let me exchange it had to throw 30 in the garbage and I am on a very strict budget. Won’t get my money no more.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve the store, from better organizing our items to cleaning the store during our slower times during the day.

Worst Thrift Store in the city by far. Crap just piled and piled on top of each other. I love a great thrift store just like anyone else but this place is a complete nightmare. Reeked of cigarette smoke and musty shoes and you definitely don't want to touch anything without gloves.  DO BETTER!!

That new manager is arrogant and rude. They watched me the whole time I  was in the store very racist!! The employee annoyed the African American people.  I will never go back i will spend my money at goodwill!!

I have been a shopper here for over 25 years and unfortunately  I had a horrible experience this past Saturday. During the years shopping there it has never been a problem wit h workers assisting  wit h loading  items but I purchased a Samsung tv for$39.96 and 2 of the workers dropped the tv just before  loading in my car and they both said . You're lucky we are helping and I said if the tv dissent work due to you guys dropping I'll let you know. And the filling day I did just that . I expected a credit in the store or refund. Didn't get either. I reached out to Chester  properties  but no response. I need a refund or credit.  I would kindly apptecoats at call from the owner to discuss a store credit. The manager  is very rude and he hung up in my face again today.... Here I go again went into the store on 11/8/18 around 6 attempted to shop the manager on dutymalebwith black hair camevout and snatch the slippers out of my hand and told me I was banded from shopping and I asked him if Steve had a meeting with him he said Steve didn't run anything get out of my store.. he had another guy walk me out.. I have never been so imbarrased in my life !! I have never been durespectful nor stolen anything from this store. I will be requesting a insident report for the harassment I've received from the manager .. he has treated me like this on mulitple occasions. I will be calling the media on this matter and the owner dosentd even care how this employee treats people. This isn't over if need be I will retain a attorney about this matter. I love shopping at this place I really dislike the treatment from the manager with the black hair..  the other employees always look as if they are ashamed on how he treats me each and every time.. God will have the final say so... Here again today 12/26 19  go into the store John the e, treme rude.mgr I went to to. E the bigger person Ska for a jo. Because one of employees told me they had 2 spots open at $12 a hr I go over to Jon nicely he attacks me by telling your  the owner was written  and I had no response  he said this is my store get out he imbarraseed me I'm taking this to court

I went to the store on Friday and made a purchase and at the time I commented how the total seemed very high. I ended up leaving because we had to go to pick someone up from the airport right away. I live away from the store but work near it so I took the the sweater back this evening to show that I was charged two times for it. I have the receipt I have the sweater with the tags still on it. I was told that the store does not do refunds I'm not asking for a refund I'm asking for your overcharging of my bank account to be given back to me. I was charged for two of the exact same item I only have one of them this is a thrift store I am not trying to return the sweater I want the sweater however I need my money back for the second charge this is a store mistake not my mistake and I was treated very rudely and told that I'm not getting my money back so I will never ever go here and I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau because they're probably pilfering money from lots of their customers and no one ever says anything. A friend of mine went and purchased some items and sunglasses case she paid for it and they didn't even put it in her bag so now they're going to resell that same item to somebody else and get twice the money. Just like they got twice the money for me for one sweater.

Horrible. Rude lazy employees. Gross environment. I went once. Promptly turned around and left after I ask my only question. Lots of loitering on the outside of the building too. My advice is to stay away. There are plenty of nice, clean, friendly thrift stores to visit. This isn't one of them.

Also for anyone who's been ripped off here. If you used your debit or credit card, you can issue a charge back through your bank or cc company.

Manager Amber was very rude. We asked politely for a box or bag bc we just bought a large stack of books among other things. Her words were exactly "We don't want you wasting all our bags. " No thanks no smile,  nothing. Refused to give owner info. Went across street to everyday thrift and it was night and day. They were very polite. Will never return again to Bargain thrift.

Needs new management. I visit most of the various thrift stores throughout the metro; this one is the most jumbled and disorganized of all. Always has been somewhat, but has been steadily worsening in the last year. Don't even leave a book cart out on the floor if you're not going to work it. Customers won't & shouldn't have to dig.  There was plenty of room to have emptied a cart. BTW, I work in retail too.

I had to wait at the registers for 5 min before an employee noticed a line of 5 people, after someone yelled at them, then they made everyone in line move 3 registers over and stared to bad everyone needs to move. When I finally got to the check out, the items I wanted were on 90% (3 shirts) off rack, but she said I would have to pay full price (already over priced). When I asked her about it again she stated I could speak with the manager, so I agreed. Then she said well he's in the back of the store, I told her then she can go get him. He came up and I complained about waiting for someone, and about the clothes being on the 90% off rack and I just wanted them priced correctly. He said someone threw them there (he didn't even look at the items) and that they were priced correctly. I told him then they need to organize better, he then took the items out of my hands and told me I couldn't have them and threatened me that he would throw me out for complaining. Needless to say I said a few choice words and left. I have shopped there for 10 yrs and will never shop or donate to them again. I have never had issues with the employees before, and are usually really nice....but I will never go there again.
