I'm not sure if I'd describe this as an elite Antique and building supply store or as a museum with price tags. Travel back in time and cruise through the memories and methods from the way back when days. A wonderland for those of us with an old soul.

I reached out to Aurora Mills Architectural Salvage recently looking for one last door plate to complete our 99 year old house. Katy promptly responded by sending me pictures. So before driving 50+miles one way I felt certain I would find a match. Not only did I find the match plus the correct screws but was immediately greeted by Nathan and Eric both seeing to it that I found what I needed while helping other's. Very friendly, very helpful!!! Thanks so much!

Owner Response

Nathan and the team at Aurora Mills have been absolutely fantastic!! We are the owner /stewards for a historic colonial in The Dalles, Oregon, and recently had to replace one of the original wavy glass windows. We called many places with no success before finding Aurora Mills, and Nathan. The size of the window made finding the right replacement piece difficult, however Aurora came through!! When the right piece arrived in stock, Nathan guided us through the process of removing the broken glass, measuring and preparing for new. He hand cut the new (old) glass to size and carefully packaged it for transport. He then guided our handiman to reinstall the glass. In short, Aurora Mills Architectural Salvage went above and beyond to provide materials and guidance for a very specialized and unique need.

Owner Response

Hi Heidi! Thank you for this awesome review!! We are so lucky to have Nathan on our team and we are so glad that we were able to get you the pieces you needed. Restoration and preservation are what we LIVE for. Thanks for taking on the labor of love that is being a steward of a historic home, it is no easy feat! Please come back soon and show off some photos :) CHEERS!

I stopped by and they were open by appointment only. The staff went above and beyond to help me get my stroller in the building with the doors. They had the unique size door I was looking for but it was moldy and In poor condition. I looked forward to shopping the whole store when they are open.

Nathan did a fantastic job repairing our broken leaded glass window! Not only did he replace the glass with wavy vintage glass to match the rest but he also resealed each individual pane. That window is better now than it has been for the last 100 years! He was also prompt and very friendly when communicating. Thanks Nathan!

Owner Response

Hi Collin! Thanks so much for taking the time to write this lovely review! We LOVE our Nathan and feel so lucky to have his skill and personality on our team. Hope to see you again for you next project! CHEERS!
