I had a fantastic experience working with The Good Mod team on an upholstery job. They made custom cushions for my couch and I absolutely love the way everything turned out. The team sent several check-ins before proceeding from one step to the next, was very accommodating and responsive to feedback throughout the process, and just overall was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend.

Amazing space in the heart of downtown Portland, with many vintage modern pieces, most are faithfully restored. The ride up to the warehouse in an old elevator is an experience in itself.

A big thank you to The Good Mod for the fabulous job they did in creating replacement cushions for my tulip chairs. They understood all our concerns and they were diligent in producing a product that was perfect. I give them a 10/10 and highly recommend for your upholstery projects! And a shout out to Deak- he was a an absolute pleasure to work with, very professional, and understanding of exactly what we were looking for.

We recently had The Good Mod refinish a JO Carlson Vetlanda dinning table and chairs, along with a Ekstrom sideboard that we inherited from my wife's grandparents. These were originally made in the mid 60s. The chairs needed the cording rewoven and refinished and the sideboard and table topper refinished and refelted. Brian and his team did an amazing job and were very communicative the whole way through. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and expert craftsmanship! I would highly recommend them for your mid century restorations.

The Good Mod is a solid 10/10, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, place to be. The furniture is amazing, and the vibes are great. I can’t say enough about how great this place is. My favourite memory is when I went in to look at what was new and left newly engaged to my now husband. I will love that memory for my entire life. But seriously, the furniture and vibes are amazing. Support local businesses, and help keep places like The Good Mod in PDX.

Came in as it popped up under a search for antique stores and wow is this an incredible find. Some of the best mid-century restoration I have ever seen. I found several pieces I definitely loved. They also do restoration of pieces which is wonderful!

I don't write reviews for stuff. But we got a ping pong table with custom color legs and oh my goodness, it is impossible to convey the quality and care that went into making it. It is care that just deserves public acknowldgement. This is a special group of people investing their hearts and skill in their work. From order to delivery, the coordination was amazing. But the product is staggeringly wonderful. These folks rock.

Incredible showroom featuring stunning designs both new and old. Pieces are designed in house, restored, or from known designers. Hard to find but absolutely worth the visit. Entrance is a small door on Burnside next to Everyday Music. Head down the hall and up the small, old elevator.
