This is a great place to find used books. The owner who curates the books does a fantastic job! You can find a wide variety of great novels and historical fiction as well as genre novels. The cashier, whom I assumed to be the owner was also very kind and passionate about books. Fellow book lovers, I urge you to visit this gem!

I visited for the first time today and was blown away! Since this is a furniture store, I will say they had a great selection of beautiful furniture and antiques all at a great price. However, I came for the books and was not disappointed! They have an amazing selection of books of all genres, many leather bound classics as well. Prices vary but are definitely a bargain. I left with a box full and will absolutely be back for more. Excellent customer service as well; the owner recommended a few books he didn’t currently carry and was very helpful! I highly recommend this place to book lovers like myself.

Very welcoming small store packed with treasures.  We found a beautiful budget friendly chair that was exactly what we needed and couldn't find anywhere else.  Be sure to check this gem out.

Never heard of this place went with my neighbor and I'm glad she showed me was nothing I thought it would it was way better. Customers service was great which is the owner's. The way they price things are very interesting also but in a good way they start with one price and as the months go and it doesn't sell the price drops and it lets you know how much it will be in months to come. They have it great selection of stuff it's not only just furniture they have other things you could use for your home also. So if ur looking for great prices friendly services this is definitely the place.

I bought my wife a dry sink there for Christmas and the people there are extremely friendly and helpful.  They have a nice selection of used furniture that is in good condition and a decent price.

This is a great place to shop for great furniture and accessories (contemporary, vintage and antiques) at great prices.  The merchandise is clean and and beautifully presented.  The owner and staff are extremely helpful.  Gotta ck it out.  You won't be disappointed!

Best place in Altona to buy good quality furniture. Most of the stores in town sell poor quality new stuff. This place focuses on used and even antique quality items at a fair price. Some of the stuff needs some TLC,  but older stuff has unique craftsmanship  making that work worthwhile. It's a small shop, but it is packed full. You don't always find what you need, but it's always interesting to browse.  There isn't a lot of parking, and I've needed to park next door at times.

Always find something in here. They have a great variety of items. As the building they are in is to be sold, they will be moving shortly. The new store front is even bigger. Very excited to see it.

A unique and ever changing inventory, with prices that range from reasonable to incredible. Don't sleep on a deal hoping to wait until the price goes down!

This establishment is clean, organized, items well displayed and reasonably priced. A little hard to find if not from area.

Always new items being brought in.Waiting on the items to go down in price can be hit or miss .But items are priced reasonably .Great place to find furniture.

If you're into decorating or collecting antiques, this is a cool place.  Price is based upon how long the item is on display.  The longer the time, the cheaper the item.  -A consignment opportunity for virtually anything.  On my last visit I saw 2 antique baby high chairs, some great dishes and tea pots, lots of old furniture and games,  2 nice pairs of wooden shutters.  This is a great place to browse for a trip down memory lane.

For clarification, the building is up for sale.  We may be able to buy it and keep the business here or rent from new owners.  Or we may move somewhere nearby.  But the business is not actively for sale.

Also, perhaps you discovered our downstairs which has opened recently, but I know some customers do not know that we have filled our lower floor with inventory as well.

Over all good experience. As of this review date stock was slightly lower than usual. Business is up for sale.

I never hit a good day, but I don't get to visit this place every week. The pricing system is pretty neat here. There are 4 different prices/4 different dates. So the longer the item is in the store the cheaper it is.

I used to come here a lot. Furnished most of my house during the beginning of Covid. I bought a couple things on their website, but they didn’t seem to track the furniture once I came to pick them up, but they didn’t turn an issue since I had screenshots of my transaction.

Last time I came in, the clerk just starred at me when I walked in. So I asked if they had any secretary desks. She scoffed, whipped her head around while throwing her hands up in the air like I just asked her something insane, and sarcastically remarked at how many she has..
First off, your website only showed 2-3. So it sounds like an inventory issue with your website.

So I just avoided her, found the desks myself close to each other. Didn’t see anywhere near the number of desks she mentioned. She later came over, with a smirk about how I found them. I have no idea what her problem was. I didn’t buy the desk.

I would never come to this store again.  I went to see if they would take any items to consign.  The owner asked me to take many pictures, told me he would come to pick it up, make me give him my address and then never contacted me again.  When i stopped at the store he told me he would be calling me soon.  I had a lot of brand new items and some very nice antiques that i had not even had a chance to show it to him.

if he did not want to take any items, he could have told me so instead of leading me on, hoping i can sell there.  This is so wrong in so many levels they way he treats customers and sure i will never come to this store again.
