I love the Lowe's furniture that they get sometimes.   I have brought their great light fixtures, outdoor furniture,  sofas, and tables.

Blown away by the selection and especially the prices. We will definitely be returning customers.

Restore has a variety of gently used furniture,lamps, appliances and more. SThe prices are very low. The quality is great. You can donate if your items are like new. They have home decor too.

One of my favorite places to visit when I’m in the area. There’s always a variety of items, but if you find something great, grab it while you can, it won’t last long.

The staff was so helpful. They helped us load our vehicle (and it was far from easy!) with no qualms. They went the extra mile to break down the large desk and help us load each piece on a hot , humid, summer day in the blazing mid-day sun. The selection was eclectic, to say the least, but by no means chintzy or sub par. We found exactly the pieces for which we were looking at a bargain and reasonable price.  The best part is that the store is supporting Habitat for Humanity, a noble and crucially important support for families in dire needs. We highly recommend ReStore for everyone looking to get quality, reasonably priced,  used, but well loved,  furniture that truly will make a difference to those less fortunate.

Definitely worth a visit (or thirty).
ReStore is much more than a "home improvement store".
Since they "recycle" goods from personal and commercial donations, you never know, from one day to the next, what they'll have in stock.
The inventory is added constantly, as they get it.
Remember, they sell what they get donated, so there's no guarantee that you'll find what you need.

ReStore prices are usually very good, considering that the goods are donated (but you should still check 😉).
They use a "discount", color-coded pricing structure -- tags are blue, pink, yellow, or green.
Depending on the day you are there, you may find an item at "full 100% price" (still better than retail); 25% off; 50% off; or even 75% OFF!
But, unless you want to gamble, and miss out on that "perfect couch"🤔 -- I suggest that you buy it while you're there 😊.
Besides, it's for charity!
Your purchases help support Habitat for Humanity, and that's good thing - it also allows me to feel better about buying something, when I know I don't really need it 😁

I always make a beeline to the tool section.
There are new tools, used tools, and even vintage tools (if you're lucky).
Lots of hardware and fittings; some lumber and building odds and ends; electrical, lamps, outlets; plumbing, shower, bathroom; outdoor, lawn & garden; flooring; paint, tiles, cleaning supplies, etc.

Lots of furniture:
Dining room sets; shelving units; kitchen stuff; bedrooms; couches, recliners, chairs; outdoor furniture; etc.
Plenty of stuff to fill your walls and shelves:
Knick-knacks; paintings and sculptures; vases; etc.

And, the next time you visit, there will be many different items waiting for you.
That couch may still be there - at 75% off... but don't bet on it 😂

My wife introduced me to this store.
Prior to visiting this store, I had never been in a ReStore. The deals, prices and quality of the products in this store are amazing. Some of the products are gently used and many of the products are brand new. If you find something you like, buy it! It will not last! They offer some big name brands such as Jacuzzi and Allen & Roth, at a fraction of the price. You can find electronics, furniture, plumbing fixtures and lawn furniture here. This is not a junk store. The only negative comment I have, is that they do not deliver. I highly recommend this store for great deals.

This store is great what they are do I g in the community is awesome. I think it's funny people think they should just give it away even though it's donated. I also love how people think everything should be brand new it's not walmart people wake up and stop being so petty. They also don't know that there is overhead that they have to pay plus the fuel to come and get YOUR stuff stop being lazy they accept drop off donations at the back of the building.

Not the largest ReStore but it's well lit and organized with some great finds.

My aunt is here every day you're open. In the morning before work. On her lunch break. Then once she gets off of work. You never know what for awsome treasures you might find.

Prices definitely increased since moving to the new store but can still find great deals. Selection changes often. Color coded inventory/discounts.

I just moved to Chambersburg. I found two amazing side tables for my living room, a couch that looked and feels brand new. All great prices. I even found an old milk barrel and a rustic childrens rocking chair in amazing shape. I love going here! I also plan to donate to them! Cant wait to find more unique things!

Nice place to look for and pick up things to place inside your home some are like new others may need a little work. I picked a small oil painting that is just absolutely beautiful. And it's fun to spend time searching for treasures.

Perfect desciption of the ReStore and how to use it :-)

If I would have known about the Habitat for Humanity Restore when I moved, I would have never bought new furniture for my home.  I recommend that if you're looking to remodel or you need "new to you" furniture, check out the store. The inventory literally changes daily. Before you go to Lowe's, stop in. Usually you can find something similar to what you need for cheaper and if you don't see what you're looking for, check back often.

First time going there today and I'm very impressed by the reasonable prices. I bought two different ottomans one for $20 and one for $40. The same items in other thrift store type places would have easily had a $40 to $80 price tag respectively. A small place but packed with interesting pieces and materials for all sorts of DIY jobs. Will visit again soon to see if they have anymore good things I can snag for a really cheap price.

This is a great Restore.  They had a name brand drawer dishwasher that had never been installed for $200.  Selections vary, so go back frequently.

Love it helpful. Always a surprise awaits to see what was new.  If you haven't been there for awhile they have any new pricing system. Where you take the tag off half of it for furniture and then take it to the counter and then pay for it and then you get your item well I lost out on a piece because apparently the cashier wasn't mine. M and ended up losing out on a really nice entry table. Did take something else in his place but not nearly as nice as what I had select it. Not mad they are nice they just need to be a little more mindful with the new system. Do donate to the old one but haven't lately but they will be getting more stuff for me in the near future. But if you're looking for furniture appliances Electrical Plumbing anything really you may find it there at quite a discounted rate. And sometimes they even have brand new furniture available. Also check the hours I don't know if they ever change from time to time but they are not open Sunday Monday and Tuesday I believe. Thanks again for a nice shopping experience.

Such a great location for affordable home improvement options that also help the community. The stock changes frequently so if you're on the search for something particular and you don't mind waiting,  just keep checking back in. Prepare to do a bit of digging when you're there, but you can really stumble across some gems.

A new location for a Frederick staple in gently used house fixtures and home decor. Great deals to be found in every corner of the store. Nice way to support a worthy local charity.

This is a great store with a lot of great employees and good prices! The managers are great and very friendly and accommodating.
This store has a good selection of furniture ( couches chairs, beds, dressers,etc) stoves, microwaves, lights, ceiling fans, bathroom vanity’s, misc doors, countertops, laminate flooring, tile, misc lumber, and MORE.
I see a lot of people complaining in their review that the prices are too high... that is simply a matter of perspective. Watch the inventory on a regular basis and you will see that items move out and new things come, meaning somebody thought it a good price. We all love a “steal” but there is a reason it is called that.

Love our Restore. Friendly staff. Great prices, convenient hours. I stop by often as the stock changes over the weekend when they get new things in.  Also they allow pick-up on Tuesday when they are not open to public but receiving donations.

Since I learned about Habitat for Humanity Restore, I stop in every so often just to see what merchandise they have. I ALWAYS BROWSE AT RESTORE FIRST when I need something specific​ for my home such as a window screen, ceramic tile,  small appliance, lamp shade, hard wear, even light bulbs!
I've made several purchases there so far .. two ceiling fans, a coffee maker, wooden armchair, sconces, window blinds, and a variety of hardware like hinges, drawer pulls and light bulbs. Never had a problem.
I LOVE that my purchase is a contribution to a fantastic charitable organization in our community.
I LOVE the the merchandise is all donated and I commend the contractors, property managers, private individuals, etc for doing that.
I LOVE that everything is good quality, like new, great prices. It's all reusable home improvement​stuff.
I LOVE that the majority of staff are volunteers. Everyone is helpful and courteous! If they don't know the answer, they very quickly find someone that does. I've often had conversations with the volunteers and it shows that THEY LOVE IT.  They must learn so much about home improvements and repair and really get an education!!
I LOVE that I get an education every time that I'm there by inquiring about the product or have a HOW TO DO question. And if you don't know the exact measurements of something you need, someone we'll grab a tape measure for you!

This place is awesome,  I have found so much great stuff here for so cheap! I got a broyhill couch and loveseat here for less than 200.00 for both and since I was giving them my old couch it was delivered for Free! Give your old furniture to this place, they'll pick it up for free and they give their profits to habitat for humanity! And you need furniture go here first,  you'll be surprised just how much nice stuff they have for super great prices!

I appreciate useful things and it is here that I most likely find what I need over buying new. I prefer to give back to my community by buying from second hand stores. This store has furniture, sinks, tubs, showers, stoves, refrigerators, pictures, trinkets, beds, electrical supplies, flooring supplies, and so much more. Some things you'll find in gently used condition and others are new. Staff are approachable and helpful. The store is clean. I am a return customer.

Nice place for used furniture.  You never know what you will find.  They do have more then furniture.  they have tubs ,showers , doors, and all kinds of stuff .

The only store I will buy furniture at! I love vintage/antique furniture. I have found beautiful pieces for my home. There are also many project pieces. Especially if you are an amateur artist! 20$ for a solid wood dresser to practice on is a great deal!
They take donated furniture, clean it a little, sell it for excellent prices and then use that money to build homes for families. Win win! The only reason for 4 stars is I wish they had better hours.

They moved to a larger location, which is awesome. It doesn't feel claustrophobic like the old store did. Prices were better than my last trip. Always pay attention to their colored tags as you can get a pretty good deal from their sales.

This type of store is hit or miss.  Fun to look around, see what might be useful to you, and money goes to a good cause.  If you see something you like, act fast because it goes fast.  Selection is as good as what's provided, can't knock the business itself for that if you're unhappy with it.  The store is kept up well, and the people working are generally helpful and nice.  I think this is a great store to have around to find a treasure or good deal!

They have lots of furniture and other items.  They could use a larger building to better layout items.  They just started discounting items by color and each week there is a color that is 75 percent off.  I have found some great deals because of the discounts.

A Goodwill / Salvation Army for home repair, other DIY projects & building supplies. Seems to have a steady rotation of merchandise coming and going. Prices are hit and miss and sometimes they are willing to work with you and your budget to get the job you need completed in a price range within limits. * shouldn't most true donation centers work in this manner??m Friendly and helpful staff but not open daily so make sure to check the hours as you can't shop or leave donations when they are closed.

Used to be a great place to buy donated or recycled items at a great price. Since relocating to their new location, the cost of their items have increased significantly. Find myself visiting the store less and buying less. Some of their items are at or over original price at other stores. Know these purchases help them help others but just can't bring myself to buy second hand items at new prices.

Amanda thank you for your kind words about the store. The balancing act for the ReStore is to raise money to build homes in Franklin Conty and to offer low prices. The prices do come down. The reason you are seeing only 20% off tags is because items are selling out before they reach the next price reduction. The inventory is always changing so keep checking back!

The store is much bigger the selection is still decent unfortunately it seems as if the prices have gone up they have sale markers but nothing is really ever marked more than 20% off... it's a shame because right now A lot of people are out of work..I can't afford much so it would be nice if they would just have some sales. Other than that is great!

Some decent deals depends on what your needing and or looking for. Employees are helpful and polite. Coupons can be found in the Franklin Shopper for a percentage off total purchase...

I’ve been shopping at restore for about six years now. Before Covid your prices were reasonable and you could come in here and expect to get a bargain. Now when I come in an item that is new in the box, it’s equal to the price that I would pay at Lowe’s or another store. You do seem to have some low prices on used furniture, but everything else is priced out of this world.

You need to get your focus back on moving product and supporting the charity instead of trying to get the highest dollar you can get for everything because you’re not competitive anymore

Whoever is making the prices for some of this stuff is out of their mind. The ReStore used to be a decent place to get cheap  used tools or supplies without breaking the bank. $17 for a beat up hand saw, that was donated for free? Keep it.

This store has form out of hand with some of it's prices, $200 for a coffee table! I over heard the manager saying he priced the item on line and it cost more new.  The problem is it's donated things and shouldn't be high priced just because they can.  Need to stop taking a lot of older furniture so they can move things a lot faster.  Hagerstown Restore is GREAT on prices and many new items still in the boxes, it worth the trip

I have noticed that this place seems to be getting overly expensive as of late. I would suggest if management reads this but they should remember that they are at the thrift store and not a retail store. I feel like  the store  has a  attitude problem  that seems to come from the management  down  and they could work on their customer  service. I recently purchased something that was sold at a reasonable price only to be disappointed when I took it home and it was not tested and broken. There are bargins to be had but be sure to test the items you buy

Tried to buy a ceiling fan twice the first one didn't work and I wasn't able to return it early enough to get a refund and the second one i tried to buy they dropped and busted it. ☹

We are sorry you had a poor experience at our ReStore. We ask people to take most furniture items out the back of the store for your safety and the safety of other customers in the area. Sometimes navigating a larger item through the automatic doors can be tricky.

I really think that there should be some more customer service training for the people that work at this store.   I shouldn’t be given attitude because I want to carry my purchase out the front door instead of going In the back.

This must be the worst store in the history of stores in the United States their items are all used and I fully understand that their used items but their pricing structure is the main problem their prices are ridiculously high as a consumer I would recommend for most people to stay away from this place on the face side of things it looks like you're going to get a good bargain but the reality you're not you're paying more than 50% of the true value of the items which are being sold in this establishment

I tried several times to donate items and never received a reply. Unfortunately the items went into a dumpster rather than into someone's home. I tried calling, and email but phone calls didn't go through and emails were never returned to this day. It's a shame because several people I've told about this have all said the same thing, "they would have loved those pieces!" Perhaps someone needs to focus attention on making it easier to donate because I tried and tried hard!

We are sorry we did not meet your expectations. We try our best to balance the pricing of our merchandise between raising funds for our mission and providing a great buy. Sometimes we get it wrong and price an item too high. The good news is that if we get it too high, it will come down, through our color coding system.  Although the price on the tag remains the same, the discount changes every three weeks on a Friday.

I have donated to that store for years now, from furniture to  appliances,  all goes to a good cause. But as of lately they have lost their minds with the prices. Almost or at retail, and some above retail.  Some people go there to save some money on items we can't afford new. They say they change the stickers to a different color weekly, not all of them. Some of the same items have had the same prices for months. You would move more stuff by lowering prices and keeping up on price tag colors. I know its for a good cause,  but I am considering donating to goodwill from now on.
