Always a great place to visit, you never know what you'll find

This place is a Godsend. It has the coolest stuff. I need everything so, I will return again and again until I replace all that I lost in the fire.
I'm still coming here and replaced most of the things I've lost. With everything so expensive out here. I'm happy this place exists. It's July of 2023 and I'm still coming here. I love this place. We're coming into 2025. This place is still helping people. Thank God, for the help of people like them.

I love the store and all the ladies that work there, very friendly. Great prices!

Large thrift store with lots of variety. New items arriving almost constantly. But they also go out the door quick so you have to be there at the right time if you're looking for something specific.

Store is well organized, fair prices. Furniture, toys, new mattresses, home decor, linens, craft stuff, small appliances, clothes etc... Friendly staff.

One of our favorite thrifting spots of all time.  We are from Pittsburgh but I have family here, and we try to go any time we visit. The prices are still reasonable and that’s what we love most. Hoping they never change!

Great prices,,great nice ,courteous, and polite staff, I love this place, sometimes I just go to look around ,cause you never know what treasure you'll come across.

First time I went I was actually surprised by the vast selection! Found some pretty neat stiff for an awesome price and the ladies were pretty nice and friendly. I'm sure I'll be back.

I go here frequently and always find some good deals. I will say that the last time I was there I did notice that some of the stuff that was specially marked as it was deemed more valuable was also unrealistic. It was obvious that they searched online and saw some people selling it for more. As a reseller myself, just to make it clear, sometimes we charge more to cover fees and returns. Since sales are final here, charging the same price as the highest you see online is silly. Regardless, I love this place and go a few times a month

This store is the best in the area for thrifty shoppers. It's clean and the staff is great. It offers a wide variety of items. This is a great place for those just starting out, college students, single parents. It is essential in economically depressed area.

Have found some nice pieces of farmhouse type cabinets there.  Just ruffed up the finish some.  Found a nice sofa for my son.

Love this thrift shop. I can usually find some nice things. Prices are decent. Selection is hit or miss depending on the donations of the week. Staff are always pleasant and helpful.

Love shopping here, I never leave empty handed with a nice selection at affordable prices you just can't beat. The ladies working there are just so nice and easy to talk to and super polite.

Great prices. The ladies are always lovely. They even just give things to people who are less fortunate.

They do alot for the community, but my personal opinion is that the donated products are high priced for second hand items. 3. 99 for used shirts, and 4.99 for used pants is high, but they do have 1/2 off sales and stuff. So and Many great program for the local.

This is a nice place to go they take good care of us with the variety they display and you cant beat their prices either always have sale items and new stuff comes in all the time

Amazing as always, you never know what you may come across but I'm sure you'll leave with something. The finds are worth coming to this store why pay full price when you can find it here less than half. Trends of clothing can be up to date along with all sorts of styles from any decade. Clothes, books, nicknacks, household items. You can find almost anything there.

By far the best thrift store I have ever been to - they're selection of legit vintage dresses in like new condition is unbelievable

They have great deals and decent prices. Got a lot of stuff here after the fire in 2011. Step daughter got a baby stroller for $8. Its in really great shape. She was really pleased with her purchase.

Great, place with super good deals.  There is not a whole lot of turnover in the stock, but the place is bigger than it looks.  I found a few vey good deals there.

Get place with lots of cool stuff. You need a couple of hours to go through this place and there's constantly changing items. I've gone back for something the next day and it was gone so the turnover is fast.

Prices are my biggest hang up here i saw 80 dollar shoes yesterday totally caught me off guard

I Give this store 3 stars because the workers are the best but the NEW MANAGER NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE FROM CUSTOMERS TO HER THE WORKS when I say rude her picture should be next to it in the dictionary ( side note because im sure she sees this people that shop at thrift stores are not poor 😒 yes she said this heard it with my own 2 ears ) She really needs take a class on how to treat people ( To the owner you should send in a secret shopper )

I have been shopping at St Vincent de Paul thrift store for years. I don't know what's going on there recently but the prices have skyrocketed this is a thrift store! I understand from other people who shop there that they have a new person that is looking things up online and pricing from that these are not new items! They
are used or gently used! Very disappointing

Prices are starting to get rediculous..it's a THRIFT STORE...got the stuff for FREE and marking alot of the merchandise up as seen on EBAY prices.. people go there because alot of people can't afford new..not to pay as seen on EBAY SMH

Always find nice items in this store but, the employee that was working the counter today was not very kind.

St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store is a good place to find all kinds of old treasures that others get rid of, which sometimes turn out to be worth something. The one MAJOR flaw to the store is the new manager Marjorie , her attitude towards customers is quite unacceptable.... SVP needs to get rid of Marjorie and replace her with someone who actually respects customers.
If you go shopping at St Vincent de Paul, then make sure to steer clear of Marjorie because there is a very BIG chance that she'll have some rude comments coming out either about you or another customer.

I just recently started going and I had a good experience a few times that I went and then I went recently for there April sale that I never been to before and I don’t know who she was but a lady with black hair got extremely aggressive with me and grabbed things out of my hands I was trying to stay in budget and instead of letting me take things back and figure out what I wanted to put back she just grabbed and I got everything for $22.00 I love the fact I got so much for $22.00 but at the same time I am not. I am an honest person plus I wanted to be honest in getting equal share of what my budget allowed plus the nastiness what horrible. It makes me not want to go back. I will give it a few more times but after so many bad experiences I refuse and I will tell others about my experiences.

Before we even left the parking lot we realized the stand we bought wasnt sturdy and was told we couldn't return it. It's a shame you pay for crap and it doesn't even make it home..shame on you taking advantage of a disabled woman just trying to help her child

The manager is extremely rude!! I'll never give them another dollar!

I was a frequent shopper here for years but at this point, I will not be back.

I stand behind other reviewers’ comments about the inappropriate conduct of the manager, Marjorie, toward customers and staff. I have witnessed her on multiple occasions speak disrespectfully to shoppers and workers, including making hurtful comments about customers after they have left the store and deriding employees for their performance in front of customers. She also made a rude remark to me on one occasion about the way I was arranging glassware in my cart.

Staff frequently shows a lack of respect toward shoppers, including pushing past and invading their personal space while shopping to stock racks. I have personally had a staff member lift my entire cart off of the ground and move it on one occasion.

I have also had multiple glass items arrive home chipped and damaged because many workers at the counter do not like to wrap items and shove them in a box loosely or wrap them poorly in clothing. When you are paying excessively high prices only to discover later that items were damaged in transport from improper packing, it’s just adding insult to injury.

This is not one of the friendly, low-priced neighborhood St. Vincent locations that you may know and expect. Major changes need to be made here, beginning with new management and proper staff training. I will not be back.

Edit: The one staff member who is wonderful and demonstrates true Christian values is the older Black woman who often wears a mask and works the counter. She is fantastic and deserves to be commended for maintaining dedication to the mission while being surrounded by others who do not.

Edit 2: I gave this location another chance recently and was very uncomfortable with how I was treated by the new younger cashiers, one male and one female. It’s difficult to briefly explain, but they repeatedly looked at me and made it obvious that they were talking about me to one another. I became so uncomfortable that I put the things in my cart back and left. I am certain that I will not give this location another chance.

I received a certificate to spend down there but there was no mention of when you can spend it. I got denied today because of the sale they had. 😡😡😡 If I could rate this place I would have given 0 stars.

Very rude when we decided we did not want an item they were charging 16.99 that was dirty and missing pieces. Short blonde haired women. Do not recommend going to the store given the women’s attitude towards us. Then discussing us with other customers while we are still in the store. This is a donations center the price was not the issue. Our issue is how rude she was to us unprovoked.

They only give you one furniture voucher for once in a LIFETIME I could understand 2 or 3 and they have to be a certain amount of time apart but only once in a lifetime that's ridiculous what if the furniture we get from you gets burned or ruined somehow and we need another set.

Not  very good paying to much for anything in this store your better off going to Walmart or any dollar store lady at the changer to much for anything it all use and it free

I shopped at the store on 12/7/22. They advertised Customer Appreciation sale and everything in the store was 50% off. I had a cart with 4 large wreaths and mostly Christmas items. I was there to buy clothing for ladies that live in a Nursing Home and are slightly smaller than I am. I had to try the items on and a Volunteer SCREAMED across from the register area that I could only try on three items. I did and hung the items that didn't fit on the rack inside the dressing room. The Volunteer (short grey hair with square glasses, has been there for years) sent another new Volunteer to retrieve any unwanted items by disturbing me at the dressing room door. I felt discriminated against since there were several items hanging inside the dressing room. I told the new Volunteer why they hadn't done this to others and not just me. She shrugged her shoulders (blond lady with pageboy haircut).
What these foolish women volunteers didn't realize was that I donate bags upon bags of clothing and furniture, food for their pantry and money to help St. Vincent de Paul. Because I was discriminated against and humiliated, I WILL NEVER DONATE ANYTHING EVER AGAIN!!! I have gone to great lengths to inform friends in my social circle and relatives about how I was treated. All are in agreement that any donations will goo to Salvation Army.

Used to be a great place but new manager is very rude to customers as well as those they're supposed to be helping.  She is certainly jacking up prices and holds merchandise back to get top dollar.  I have seen her be mean on the floor to workers in front of other customers.   I used to recommend it highly.

The employees there have poor judgment of character. I got accused of stealing twice BC I was looking through the purses and makeup bags. The worker stated that ppl who have looked at them have stolen. 👎
