I recently visited the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, where I donated some unused masonry screws and took the opportunity to browse their merchandise. The donation process was quick and easy. I was specifically looking for picture frames and was delighted to find a good selection. The frames were in good condition, and I found several that were exactly what I was looking for, priced between $1 and $3 each, which was incredibly reasonable. The store was clean and well-organized, and the staff was friendly. It felt good to know that my donation and purchases were supporting a great cause. I highly recommend the Habitat for Humanity ReStore to anyone looking for affordable home goods and unique finds. I’ll definitely be returning.

We have gotten so many nice things at very fair prices from the Restore locations around the region.  The new Lancaster location is incredible, makes shopping there a great experience.   And for some of the critics, the store is a non profit with many volunteer workers handling a large variety of stuff, the customer service experience isn't necessarily going to be what you might get at Nieman Marcus, but neither are prices.

We just moved into a house and needed storage cabinets, furniture and misc items. I found great deals here! I love this store and I love reusing rather than buying new. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The new facility is so easy to shop, and the new hours are great, too.

I bought 3 dressers for $130 TOTAL!
I was refinishing them so it didn't matter that 2 were in OK condition.   The tall boy dresser was in perfect shape!  There are great items to be found here and all the staff I encountered were super nice!  They even have a return policy!

Odd little store eith a lot of things to buy. Not just used items- there is a lot if brand new things too. Some is just junk tho. Definitely worth checking this place out!

They have incredible household items that are for sell or purchase for a lower sales prices.They have also other items for sale.They have quality furniture, paints, woods, nails, hammer and other things too. They have a parking spaces. Their staffs and employees are incredible generous and helpful kind. They take cash, debit card or credit card for purchasing anything .

I love this place it has helped me find everything I needed for my home projects and others that I didn’t need  I try to visit every Saturday on my weekends off work I have got beautiful light fixes roofing doors flooring paint living room, bedroom  furniture They have everything you need to restore your home at the fraction of the price  the Employees are wonderful and very helpful This store has been a blessing to my home and many others My Favorite go to store 💕

This place is hit or miss depending on what your looking for. The items constantly change. All the items are donations. I love the thrill of what I can find. Great prices & polite helpful staff

Love this place - I entered a lottery for an antique piece and got it 10 days later at my price!

We also picked up framing nails (normally $40+ at Lowes) for $10. If you pay cash u get additional discounts!!!

They sell new things at half the price of homedepot or lowes and used tbings at a very good deal. I got a lot of cement board and mulch for half price. Gotta go often as their inventory changes quickly.

Donate your excess building materials or buy for those DIY projects. I love this place, especially for those hard to find items and eclectic architectural items. Still a favorite, though they have eliminated some items from their inventory.

I like "shopping" here first, before I go to Lowe's or Home Depot. I don't mind using good used products
However, they have a lot of "new" products also
The inventory is always changing and if you think you might want something, and it is there, you better take it with you. You may never see it at that price or at that place again.
The place is like walking around a flea market.  It can be hard to get around so don't wear anything real nice. Lol happy exploring and shopping

This place is just awesome. There's so many things that you'll see that you didn't think you needed. And prices are fair. I bought a beautiful 8 foot runner for $27.

Great prices for those on a fixed income .  Larger furniture selection than before. Just double check your paints/ chemicals that have been previously used. Someone from the store will happily assist. Received a couple cans of dried up black jack....not their fault tho.

Having a home built in 1881 makes this place a must for me!! Also has really cool finds just gotta check in somewhat frequently. Kinda a revolving door as I like to donate here also!! Always check here before going to the big retailers if you're looking for a bargain:)

What a great organization! Let this store be the first place that you turn to when you’re looking for furniture, paint or just something interesting in their ever rotating stock. Love that they support the local community!

If you are looking for a bargain for around the house projects check this place out. Stock is always rotating so you never know what you may find. From pieces of trim, to replacement windows or doors, tile, some unique furniture, kitchen cabinets or a throne as we called the commode back in the day! I left with a very unusual solid wood bathroom stall door, I think!? It had some smoke damage but I scrubbed it up to use for a bathroom closet door. It's short but will work great for my repurposing use. The closet houses a litter box so when I hang the door, it will have room at the bottom for the cats to easily access and I can keep it closed so all of the closet stuff is behind the door. A future weekend day project to tackle. Did I mention it was only $10 ?

You can get some EXCELLENT STUFF in here.  Everytime I go in, they have different stuff. Furniture, all kinds of paint,  tiles,Wood. If it's  for a DIY project, or whatever, they probably have it! You cannot bet their prices, either. Everything is reasonably priced   and a "color" tag is on sale every day. Check it out!! Found some interesting stuff in here!!

This is a place where you may find that oddity you may need to finish a project in your home. Plenty of nuts and bolts. There are used cabinets, doors, appliances, Windows, plumbing fixtures, tubs, sinks, vanities, light fixtures, flooring,   pictures and frames, old records, some dish and glassware, plenty of nails and screw. So much more.
This is a public donation center.
Supplies may change daily. Come early, what spare part you may need can go quickly.
I needed a broken vanity relpaced cheep, i found it there.  Replaced door knob. Needed screws and nails, got them there cheep.
Limited parking. Public bathroon.

These people are incredible!!! They REALLY go the extra mile to help people!! An their prices are more then fair!!! Thank u for everything and holding my flooring til my situation got better an I could come back to get it!!! I still feel bad having to leave it there for so long but I definitely appreciate the kind attitude that was I was given!!! And by everyone I spoke too throughout the process!!!

Excellent I had change my review cause can't judge for one bad experience. They have great staff. And you might not find what you need or looking for it the first time. I love hobbies, craft and furniture renovation etc. Also my choice of donations.

When I think about going to this Restore I smile. My family and I just recently moved into a “fixer upper” and Restore has been so crucial in the affordability of the project. Their prices are fair, the quality is great, their selection is vast, and we always feel like we are somehow family when we walk in there. So far we’ve been able to find very expensive porcelain tile for our small mudroom for 75% off, lighting, brand new (BEAUTIFUL) wool and cotton rugs, and a few pieces of furniture that we brought back to life! My brother is also an interior designer and he loves coming here to find things for his own home!!!! Kent is also THE MAN!!!! He works so hard pulling down huge area rugs for customers with a great big smile on his face, and as manager of donations he has such a good eye; finding items that are so desirable and USEFUL for a price that is FAIR! THANK YOU! This store seems to embody that “share the wealth” ethos to the max! We love it here!!!!!

Not only is this a great place with a great cause, it also has humor, hence the Nic Cage running joke!

Great things they do here. You can find whatever you need. Perfect for renovating the house on the cheap, or getting small items to fix whatever. Staff is always friendly. New and different items rotate frequently, so check back often if you sont find what you want/need.

I cant say enough about this place.  I have donated and purchased from them.  If anyone is doing any work on their home it is imperative that you stop by.  If nothing else one can learn from what is sitting around the place.  A hobby of mine is repairing and rehabbing old abandoned furniture.  I hate to spread the news as I will lose some great deals, but it is an excellent place to find older solid furniture.  The paid staff and volunteers are wonderful, thank you.

If you are remodelling, come here. Lots of stuff for kitchens and bathrooms and every other room!! We were delighted with all our finds which included kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanity set.

You never know what you'll find at this store. I shop here frequently. Best price and selection of any 2nd hand store of it's type. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Absolutely love Lancaster Habitat for Humanity ReStore off Rt 30. I have never been to the one off 222. Never know what I might find and the prices and people are wonderful. Plus its a great place to donate too.

Rotating Stock is incredibly awesome for anyone doing maintenance or renovation. Always cool treasures to find but it's def hit or miss with specifics because of the donation factors. Amazing deals to be had.

Alot of new and used home and commercial building supplies, appliances and furnishings. Very affordable, and almost free goods for any home owner or "do-it-yourselfer". And you're helping a great cause while saving money on your projects.

You never know what you might find here... appliances, doors, countertops, furniture, etc. Evening hours would be convenient, because Saturdays get crazy busy...

They need to focus on safety here, otherwise I would say 5 stars. I realize accidents happen, but things fell on my wife several times. Thankfully nothing serious.  Great place though!

I just filled my truck with stuff from here. Great prices on most stuff. Things like spray paint for $2, chairs for $2-$10. Tools for cheap.
I checked on lighting and cabinets very good prices there too.

Great place to possibly find something you need for your house we're a really good deal on something you would have paid for price for. It's very hit or miss though and you have to be there at the right time to get what you need.

One of our go to places for certain projects. Been going here over 14 yrs. Now prices start becoming a bit stingy like the GoodWill. If I can buy it for the same price brand new...um its a no brainer!
I get the cause and have donated/supported/purchased far beyond average. But i don't do greedy!

More effort has been made to organize the merchandise. Understand that turnover of most material is  very fluid and moves fast. Help and management works well to oblige consumers. No observed safety or building occupation issuesm GREAT JOB

I love it here.   I can get just about anything to fix up any room.   The staff is friendly and always there to help.   The staff also has great ideas for all sorts of projects.   They always have new things.

Love this shop and find their embracing of social media fantastic. Since they now post new items to Facebook, we have called and purchased over the phone to make sure we didn't miss a deal. Paint is a great deal, did our whole garage for $20. We've picked the chair I'm sitting in now, a dresser set for my son and outdoor seating. The new double oven in our kitchen was 30% of what we would have paid retail. Always a great deal, especially during tag sales. I just wish they were open Sundays when I typically like to head up to Greenfield to hit up Costco and Next to New. Keep an eye out for Nicolas Cage.

To answer your question about the range hood, $399 represents 50% of the items retail price at Lowe’s. However, it is a green tag so it is 30% off of the marked price. Please reach out o me so I can find out more about this situation.

Just left your store and feel extremely uncomfortable and upset thanks to one of your associates. I just simply ask if he know any information about kitchen Hood vent. It's a brand new in box  on the floor and the price is $ 399. . I asked him why it's so expensive , is anything special about this product? He told me I'm asking too many questions he doesn't know . He was acting very clearly that I was bothering him . And also he told me if I know other places with the similar products and different prices I should shop there not at this store... Terrible terrible service!!!
It's his job to provide a  customer service and answer the question and if he doesn't want to do so he shouldn't work there. Very unkind and rude.

Visited your store today to check it out, & I will NEVER be returning to any of your facilities again unfortunately thanks to one of your associates today that did the most appalling thing I've witnessed in a long time. As I am exiting your store a little old man and his very hot and uncomfortable looking elder aged dog were standing there (2 feet from your restrooms with plenty water) and the gentleman was asking your associate ever so politely if she could help him out with some water for his dog. And because this man was wearing a Trump hat she looked at him and said, so rudely "I have to get back in here!" Now last I checked this place is supposed to stand for "charity" and or "goodness in the world" and also last I knew that poor dog had nothing to do with politics!! But that was one of the most ugly & unkind things ive ever witnessed in my life and I won't be returning!

I had been to restore when off of greenfield road and had good experiences .  Went to their  new location today, took a tag off off dry sink , the manager tells me to leave half the ticket on furniture - that was a mistake. Went back to look at it and it was gone.  Asked the guys in back and it wasn't there  They sold it to someone else - guy at register never even asked the person for the yellow take on furniture and he has worked there a long time - response was " I didn't know"   I then go to back to pick up what I paid for and get asked to see receipt.   Didn't ask customer for tag but ask me for receipt.
NEVER BUY FURNITURE THERE WITHOUT MAKING SURE STAFF TAKES TO THE BACK OR YOU PAY FOR IMMEDIATELY.    THEY WILL SELL IT EVEN IF YOU HAVE TAG.    BE VERY VERY CAREFUL.      STAFF NEEDS TO BE EDUCATED.

Don't recommend this place employs are very disrespect  not professional on the loading are and manager worst he don't know how to apologize to customer please don't buy enything or make a donation to this place

A very unfortunate first experience in the store. Asked a quick & fair question,  “Is the price negotiable on this piece of furniture? We noticed a fair amount of damage on it” and the employee Ben sharply said “it’s a $1,500 item and it’s priced accordingly” and he immediately walked away. Considering the ReStore mission, “seeking to put God’s love into action,” you can do better! :)

Our staff retention has been exceptional given the grueling work and the nature of the business so it really doesn’t seem like my coworkers are too upset with how the store is run. been here a couple time and every time i’m there i hear one of the bosses or managers I’m not sure who he is but he’s always being really mean to his employees THIS IS NOT RIGHT AT ALL I see how hard they work and get treated so poorly will not be shopping here until something changes this is ridiculous some people just should not be employers!

I remember when they first open and they’d except any donations which they were able to sell.  But they accept ugly furniture and dirty appliances.  Now that they made it this far, they only except new donations. If I wanted to buy something new the last place I go is to habitat.  SMH

I’m sorry to hear about your disappointing trip to the ReStore. I’d like to clarify, in case there was some confusion, all of our prices are no more than 50% of retail (and that only applies to brand new merchandise, used good are far less) depending on age/condition/etc. Toilets, for example, are $35. The most expensive range in the building is $350 but retails when new for $1325.
Occasionally a price does sneak through that is too high and that’s why we have our color tag discounts in place. If a price is too high you can wait until we change color tags and the item will be 20, 30, or even 60% off.

They have a wide variety of a selection election but the prices they charge I could buy brand new at the hardware store. Went to look at getting a used toilet and a used electric stove and the price they wanted for it I could buy it brand new. The stuff is used and donated so it's ridiculous that you're charging top dollar brand new prices for used stuff.  For all that I might as well just buy it brand new.  I won't donate to here anymore either I can sell the materials for top dollar myself or directly to people who actually need it.

I am concerned that the shelves are not bolted to the floor and the forklift is operated in this store with children walking less than one foot away as it goes by. The Emergency Exit door on the south side of the building has been blocked by furniture at various times. They also allow children to work here unsupervised with axes in the rear of the store. This Habitat has had two deaths, and many accidents and broken bones here at this Restore, but they don't  report all of their accidents. I wish I could get someone on the staff to change the prices for me, so I could re-sell items locally and make that kind of profit too! Or I could just try to walk out with stuff,  like some friends and family do. The roll  up door on the north side has metal pieces falling off in the up position, but OSHA won't come, so until someone is really hurt and sues them they will let it go. And don't volunteer here, unless you you want your hand crushed in the lift gate of the truck while talking to the  manager and other employees who should have been protecting you. Jeez!
