I had always wanted to go in here and when I had my second baby I needed to find pieces that made me feel good without spending a salary to do so. I’m never disappointed and I never leave the store empty handed. If you are reading bad reviews: the shop has been there 40 years but has switched hand’s recently. The new store owner is incredibly kind and remembers small details about you when you come back. 12/10 would recommend.

My boyfriend and I absolutely adore this store! It's a true hidden gem, filled with an amazing selection of unique and stylish items that you won’t find anywhere else. The prices are incredibly fair and the owners are very welcoming.
The owners also do an amazing job of constantly rearranging and refreshing the selection, so there's always something new and exciting to browse. My boyfriend and I always leave with something special and cant wait to come back again.

The new store owner, Alba, greeted us as soon as we walked in. The store is well laid out with reasonable prices. My friend and I found some fabulous pieces with a few fun surprise vintage finds as well!

This place has been like a home away from home forever keeping my wardrobe circulating properly which is a major help. This is probably my favorite consignment shop ever. The clothes are high quality and the owner Janis is kind and accommodating. She has treated me like family since my mom (former client) passed. As long as she is in business, I will make her a part of my 2-hour drive. Definitely worth the trip!

I love this place! The women who run this store are excellent always upbeat and eager to help with any of my manic wardrobe needs. I found everything from dashikis kimonos and yoga wear to the finest in men's suits sportswear and casual for any occasion. Even when I find nothing new to add to my wardrobe I go through the rest of my day with a smile from the upbeat chats with people who obviously love what they do every day. The customers and clients of this Boutique always give me insight and an upbeat message to pass on to others

A wonderful selection, curated so that most items are of reasonably good quality; prices range from one dollar (for quite good stuff; silk blouses, paisley shirts) to 300 (for things like new authentic fur coats). Most items are in the 5 to 12 dollar range. When I went in December 2017, she had an entire rack devoted to Chico's. I've gotten some absolutely wonderful things here, brand new, for 10% their retail value; highly recommended!

I love West Main consignment! I try to get here as much as possible because there is so much that gets consigned everyday.

This is my go to for funky and unusual jewelry and one of a kind dresses.  I have lucked out with some signed jewelry pieces and one of a kind artisan earrings.  I found a beautiful capped sleeve DVF wrap dress for less than $30 in perfect condition along with a vintage silk Flora Kung for $15!  There was a beautiful vintage Versace LBD and jacket set for also $30 to $40 which I also couldn't pass up.

What can I say? I love this place. I spend time here looking at everything when I visit.

If you take the time to talk to Janice she is funny, quirky and can point you in the direction for what you're looking for.  She has always given me her honest opinion which i really appreciate.  She is up front and honest about what she will consign and always seems busy with new merch. She's been doing this since 1985 so she knows her customer base and what they will buy and for exactly how much.  I once asked her how she prices her items and her reply was, "I price them to sell." :D

If you have time, stop by here! Don't forget to hit those $1 and clearance racks! One of my favorite finds was a summer dress for $3!

I am confused that anyone doesn't love this place. I've been there many times - and every time find AMAZING deals for shocking little. I always feel like maybe I'm taking advantage - a coach purse for $24?  Feels like cheating. I highly recommend!

We were discussing the temporary tattoos and after we paid $15… she tells us it’s a flash sheet, not tattoos. No returns! That woman was a terrible business woman!

Unbelievable! The worker's are so rude and do not even welcome us In yet smile at us or ask If we need help? You call this a business? I wonder why the store Is Empty? Maybe because the Item's are way too overpriced and the worker's are rude. Stop using your local guide's to write fake review's It Is not going to work. Never going back there!

I've never been ripped off from a consignment store until now. I consigned several items with West Main including a NEW PAIR of Hooka One  One Speedgoat sneakers.  I went back in a few weeks and my sneakers weren't there so I assumed they were sold. I was told "nothing sold yet."  I asked about my sneakers and was told "a women took them out running to see if they would work with her bunions." WHAT? No one came in while I was there and what store lets you take unpurchased shoes for a run?? I went back again in 2 weeks  and was told nothing sold,  even though my sneakers still weren't there.  At the end of my consignment,  I gathered my remaining items and was given a check for $12.00 because my sneakers sold. They were NEW $140.00 shoes! West main even deducted money to retrieve my remaining items,  which I did myself! What a dishonest place. Pretty sure my shoes were sold online for much more. I DO NOT RECOMMEND dealing with this most dishonest business.

I was at the consignment shop this past Saturday. The clothes were name brand, updated, preppy, and current. The owner was nice as was her assistant.

Today I called to setup an appointment to bring in unworn, trendy clothes with designer names. I was met with an attitude of, “I screen my merchandise. What do you have?”  The tone was demeaning and snobby.  Screened over the phone?   I was told they only take vintage clothes and they are overflowing right now. I was asked the names of my clothes and despite informing the owner that tags were still on the items, I was turned away.

Well, when I was there, I saw NO vintage clothes. There were name brand clothes, like mine, that I wasn’t even able to bring in to be looked through. Despite my fabulous experience on Saturday, I will not be returning to this shop.

Store moved to a bigger place in 2010. We are not always a good fit for some consignors.

The shop is crowded, the clothes are terrible and over-priced, and worst of all, the owner is a snob and has zero personal skills.  Do not even think of bringing clothes in to consign, cause she will not take them, no matter how nice, clean or new they are.  In fact, she will not even look at them - she will wave them away with her nose in the air and make you feel like you have atrocious taste.

I cannot figure how she stays in business....
