I’m so impressed with the work done on my upholstered chair! Grimes Interior repaired a broken leg that I thought might not be fixable. The Grimes Family run an incredible business. They are truly in the market to help people with their furniture issues, and make sure their clientele gets the best and most honest service they can. I brought a leather reclining chair in to their store to see if it could be repaired. It was only 3+ years old. The reclining mechanism became disengaged at some point. I spoke with Dwayne prior to bringing the chair in. He honestly told me that he would have to look at the piece before letting me know if the chair could be repaired. I left the chair with him. He got back to me letting me know that unless the piece was totally taken apart (seat cushion removed, leather peeled back from arm, and more) he would not be able to even see what exactly was the issue. And, unfortunately, that would cost a lot, at a minimum for the time involved to take all apart and put it together properly without damaging the leather. Plus, who knows what parts were going to need to be ordered. He did not recommend doing this. He was able to get the chair upright so it could be used as a chair, not recliner. I really appreciate his honesty. Grimes was the only repair facility that would even look at the piece. They were not looking to just make money off of me. They were looking out for me to offer me what they felt was right. This is something you do not see frequently in businesses today. If you are looking for someone to repair your furniture. I highly recommend going to this repair shop for the knowledge, skills and honest craftsmen you will be working with.

And then you have The way the piece was put together was not made to repair very easily. Look no further! I don't care where you are located it is worth driving to Grimes to have them repair your furniture. I had a very unique (and expensive) table leg break during transportation and these guys made it look like nothing happened. They were up front about the price and timeline of the repair.
