After reading other reviews for 8th Street Gold, I called to ask a couple of questions and Eric was exceptionally kind. He ended the call not with "goodbye" but with "Hope to see you." It echoed with kindness and welcoming. I visited the shop midday on a Monday. Parting with family heirlooms was difficult but Eric was generous in his compliments of the pieces I could buy and even those he wouldn't be able to buy. Eric was conducting 3 conversations at once without ignoring anyone. As he examined each item he said, "you're going to be very happy". I was very happy indeed.

I went to 8th Street Gold & Diamond Buyers today to sell some silver. Eric was friendly, honest, helpful, and most importantly offered a very fair price (spot or $1 below, depending on pour/bar/type) for my my .999 silver bars and pours. I even mis counted to # of of ounces and Eric corrected me, letting me know I had 10 more ounces than I thought. I definitely recommend this place and I'll be back for sure.

My experience at this place exceeded expectations! I stopped in because I had a few pieces of jewelry that I no longer wanted. Some of the jewelry was silver, some was broken or not in wearable condiiton, and other items were definitely worth more in emotional value than retail. I really appreciated that Eric didn't rush me through the transaction or pressure me to sell any of my items. His customer service was great and he was patient with me and answered all my questions.
