Wow, what an amazing book store, unlike any I have ever been to before. My girlfriend is such a bookworm that I lost her in the catacombs of Baldwin's book barn.

Baldwin's Book Barn is located in an old barn built in 1822 that radiates literary charm with its inviting nooks, stone walls, warm ambiance, wood-burning stove, and endless shelves filled with books, maps, and prints.

If reading is an adventure of exploration the Book Barn is the physical manifestation. I have been exploring the narrow passages stacked with books for over 30 years. It has been a delight every time.

If you are a book lover you just want to be lost here. Books, books, books and more books stare at you from every nook and cranny. 4 floors.. some with secret rooms and compartments. It's a treasure hunt and treasure trove at the same time.

Super friendly staff, and a dog friendly store. We explored 4 floors of used books with books in every nook and cranny. I ended up purchasing 3 cookbooks at a great price! Would recommend if looking for a cozy spot to browse!

This is a great place to visit! It’s history, it’s historical, it’s books, and it’s a barn! Beautifully preserved barn has books from all time periods and all subjects. The barn is several floors divided into sections to easily find the subjects you’re interested in. If you’re on the area, Baldwin’s is definitely worth the stop!

This place is fascinating. What a diverse array of books! We were greeted by a kind gentleman, the warm scent of a wood stove, creaking wooden floors, and the friendly scent of old books. Prices were reasonable. Categories and genres neatly marked. Upper stories are cool in winter; dress accordingly.

An amazing collection of books. You're always going to be able to find something to take home with you. They just kind of let you roam around, but if you have any questions be sure to ask.
