Awesome place to learn about marbles and numismatics coin collecting....Michael makes a visit very interesting. No charge. Great place to go.

Visited on Saturday. The younger gentleman was extremely knowledgeable on all the items on display. Unfortunately, the owner who had been doing this for 70 years had recently passed. Be sure to check this place out if you are ever on I80 in Nebraska in York.

Definitely a must stop if you’re driving by there’s lots of interesting things to see and staff is friendly and knowledgeable!

I loved this place! It was filled with such a cool variety of marbles as well as many vintage items some of which were for sale.

Went here last year on our trip from Michigan to Utah. Was SO excited when I found out that there was a marble museum when we looked for attractions in the area where we stayed the night in York. It was closed by the time we got settled in and learned the museum was there but first thing I thought about when I woke up was going there. AWESOME PLACE!!! They have millions of marbles from recent years to really old, tons of coins and antiques!! I bought 3 really cool marbles from a bin for I think $2.00 each. I LOVE THEM and display them at home. We are currently in the car again driving from Michigan to Utah and I just can’t stop talking about how excited I am to VISIT AGAIN and buy more marbles!! We have not even driven out of Michigan yet! HIGHLY RECOMMEND VISITING THIS GEM OF A SHOP!! Can’t wait to get there!!! LEE IS AN INCREDIBLE GUY!!! REALLY COOL, by the way!!!

Michael helped me identify marbles from a family collection- very knowledgeable, kind, and efficient.  Saw the most incredible marble and will go back to learn more about marble history.  Thank you Michael!! Just off of I-80 it is worth a stop- could not believe the number of marbles and the ways they were displayed were so creative.  Definitely take a 50 minute drive from Lincoln to go see this unique historical museum.

Totally cool museum to stop at to look at the history of marbles. There are over 1300 mason jars full of marbles plus all the other displays with history on early marbles. Plenty of marbles to be purchased along with some antiques as well to look at. Definitely make it a stop if you’re in the area.

This place was crazy. ( In a good way) they have so many marbles every where. The marble museum is definitely a passion project. So many cool marbles he showed us. He has some that looked like they were going on forever and some that were made with uranium.

Must stop here! The gentleman, Lee, has taken such care of his collection. He talked to the kids about it and gave them some marbles. There was also really cool artifacts around and they were more than happy to show them to us.

We had a fun stop at Lee's Legendary Marbles & Collectibles in York, Nebraska. Our boys enjoyed checking out all the different kinds, colors, sizes, and designs of thousands of different marbles! Lee even took some time to show us some optical illusion ones and some with uranium that glowed.

Had lots if cool knowledge of Marbles and a remarkable collection. We got to interact with some of the most interesting Marbles in the display, and he gave our daughter a free bag of Marbles. Believe he gives them to all the kiddos.

Oh, my God! These marvel museum in York, Nebraska, is an amazing attraction to see! I talked with Li the almost 90 year old collector, who has been hard at work since 1950 for gathering this amazing assemblage of marble history.

I liked Lee and Michael as much as I like the collection… no more than the collection, but the collection, Spectacular unto itself!

Lee’s favorite marble is a 1 inch Guinea of which only three were made… It’s very expensive Marble and you’ll have to ask Lee to show it to you because it’s not on general display. It is beautiful.

It is so joyous to experience an unexpected treasure, like this on the roads of America!

Lee's marbles was fantastic! Lee was also just adorable :) his collection is massive and he is very knowledgeable and passionate about it. There was also plenty of other things to look through. I got some fantastic jewelry!

Lee's Legendary Marbles and Collectibles is a gem of a destination! We stopped by with a can of old marbles, and they took the time to sort through them and pull out the ones that had value. They offered to buy them, but we decided to keep them and put them on display for the kids and grandkids, as most dated to previous generations! We were surprised to learn the scope of their collection and their business, buying and selling marbles from all over the country! I highly recommend a visit to see their unique displays... and maybe to buy or sell your marbles!

Such a fun place to pop in! Lee was there, and happy to talk about marbles. I absolutely love getting to talk to someone who is extremely into something, and a true expert on it. There are other antiques, and coins there, but marbles are the real reason to go... even if you're not into marbles.

You need to stop here, if you're a collector ... of any kind! It's a unique shop, and antique store, with many treasures. Missed seeing Mr Lee, but definitely commend his passion for the art of marbles. WHAT A PLACE!!!!

I absolutely loved this stop! Lee was a great guy. We spent about an hour here, got a personalized tour, and ended up buying several pocketfulls of marbles

A definite "quirky" roadside attraction that we loved. Lee started this in 1954 and we actually got to meet him in 2022!

This little place is a true treasure! I have found some very unique items there..there was a small tub of old tube the clerk didn't know what they were and he said $10 so I. Thought it was worth just trying to figure it out...lipsticks tubes from 50's and 30's

Stumbled across this place completely by accident. It's got a huge collection of marbles, of course, as well as some thoroughly random antique and vintage items. Definitely recommend stopping here for a unique break from the road. And buy a handful of marbles, in case you lose yours.

Really good! They have (unsurprisingly) millions of marbles from 25 cent ones to specialty items for hundreds of dollars. There was a collector there when we visited who had some kind of special light to examine the marbles. The service was great! No one made us feel stupid because we just like marbles but don’t play with them or collect them or anything. They also have antiques and other collectibles like vintage lunch boxes or “lunch pails” as we used to call them. Definitely worth a visit!

What a great little shop. My girlfriend and zi went for the marbles and got so much more. The young man working was so nice and knowledgeable about currency and marbles. A great experience!

We stopped in searching for somewhere to visit along the ever boring I80 trip. So happy we stopped here and we'll definitely be back the next time we drive by. The man in the store was a wealth of knowledge and told us all about the rare items and some history. What a neat spot!

What a fun place! Stopped on a whim and so glad I did. My son loved looking at all the marbles and the staff were very kind. They had lots of neat stuff to look see!

What a great place! My girlfriend of 54 years comes every year to visit me. This was my first time too. The two men were delightful and very knowledgeable. So many nostalgic memories. Will definitely be back.

My kids were amazed by the sheer number of marbles. So many beautiful,  handmade marbles! Plus many budget friendly choices.  Pick out a bagful of 10cent or 25cent marbles.

Quaint store that had a lots of antiques that I haven't seen in a long time. If you want marbles, they have them in spade. He was very friendly. We will come back again to look at every book and cranny.

Stopped here out of curiosity while traveling through Nebraska. The gentleman working was very friendly and knowledgeable. So much to look at, wish I could’ve stayed longer. Very unique place, will definitely visit again!

Drove over 600 miles just to come here and I would do it again in a heart beat!! Amazing collection, exceptionally friendly staff. Antiques and marbles are priced to sell! I am absolutely blown away by this place. It is an absolute must see for any kid and adults alike!!! Easy to find, easy to get too. My son got a free bag of marbles too.

Incredibly interesting museum! Not only a huge collection of marbles, but also of historic currency and other antiques. The museum/store attendant was very helpful and had lots of interesting things to say and pieces to show us.

It may not look like much from the outside, but this museum is not to be missed if you're driving down 80. Plus it's in the flattest and straightest stretch of highway, so a break from driving is always a good idea :)

OK, it sounds boring, right? Marbles? Really? Let me tell you, I have visited this museum four times, because it's that fascinating! Twice, the store's namesake, Lee, has been there when I was, and he's happy to tell you anything you might want to know about marbles. Bring your marbles in, and he will tell you how old they are, whether they were machine or hand made, what they may be worth as collectibles, etc.
Did you know there used to be glow in the dark marbles that glowed because they were radioactive? He has some on display! How about Chinese Checkers games? On display! How about rare ancient marbles? On display! There are literally hundreds of thousands of marbles here.

If you  like other things, the back of the store and adjoining buildings are filled with antiques and collectibles of all types (and there's clearly some worthless junk, too). I really recommend stopping here for an hour or two.

I really appreciated being able to purchase some nice old marbles and am already looking forward to a return visit.

So much cool stuff to look at here, both to buy and to just enjoy and reminisce about in the museum. Lee was traveling at the time of our visit, but the man who worked there was very knowledgeable and seemed to be really excited to work there and tell us about the marbles.

We're not really into collectibles, nor marbles, but my wife and I made this a planned stop on our vacation after reading about Lee and his lifetime of collecting. We did not get to meet Lee, but the young man running the place when we arrived was very nice and spent his time telling us about Lee and marbles and some of the lifestyle of marble collecting. It was entertaining and interesting. I did purchase a little hand-blown marble from the 1800's as a memory for the shelf at home, and my wife purchased a cute jar of marbles for the living room.
This is not a fancy, high-end place. It is a down-home, comfortable store that is worth the time to wander around and see. It is filled with far more than marbles, though the marbles are in massive presence all around. I do recommend a stop, for 5 or 50 minutes, if for no other reason that to acknowledge a lifetime dedicated to a man's dream.

Lee has lots of interesting stories about marbles and is wonderful to chat with. The collection includes all sorts by year, country, material, size, and of course color and pattern. The collection is fun just for being so unique, representing a lens on history as well as an odyssey of color. It is not museum quality curation, but it does not try to be. Stop for half on hour on you way by, marvel at the work people put into such toys (mostly) in the past , He has some for sale, but most are on display (and his sale items are antiques and coins). I bought a uranium glass one just for something different.
