About This Store

Nestled in the heart of Providence, Rhode Island, Savers is a beloved thrift store that has captured the attention of local bargain hunters and treasure seekers alike. This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the excitement and anticipation that draws customers through Savers' doors.

Boasting a great selection and well-organized merchandise, Savers offers an impressive array of pre-owned goods, from clothing and accessories to household items and toys. The clothes are well organized by style and size which make shopping a lot easier. Customers rave about the "insane" furniture deals, with $10 for a good kitchen table set and $5 for a good dresser being common finds.

Beyond the vast inventory, Savers' standout feature is its commitment to exceptional customer service. Reviewers consistently praise the friendly, patient, and helpful staff, who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. The young ladies working the showcase and register are very friendly, patient, and helpful! Customers also highlight the exceptional service provided by Bonnie and her team in the donation area, describing them as amazing and so kind, patient and flexible.

The store's dedication to affordability is also a major draw for customers. Savers seems to be keeping things affordable, with items like tank tops and t-shirts priced under $5, and name-brand pots and pans available for around $6 to $8 each. The store's senior discount on Tuesdays is an added bonus for the local community.

For pre-owned products, this should be the first stop.

Just a few days ago I posted a less than favorable review of the Savers in E. Providence, decided to return a item, to Branch Ave instead (no fitting rooms situation is a royal pain in the a$$), and my experience was so good, I felt it important to give great customer servixe acknowledgment too 🙂. Just as with E.P, I had selected an item with retail tag price that was less than Savers. I decided to ask nicely why that was, and without hesitation, the young lady retickied it to less than half the price, she was also genuinely friendly and we had a pleasant exchange (not sterile and perfunctory). Would I have written positive review if they didn't mark it down, absolutely! Because this was one of several good experiences at this Savers over last couple of years.

I hadn't been here in a while, but the sales were just as good as a few years ago. Most thrift stores are raising prices to an unfair amount. Savers seems to be keeping things affordable. There's a really large selection as well when it comes to sizing and style. I was able to find big and tall shorts for only $10 a piece, and all my items were around $5 or $6 a piece. They had tank tops and t shirts for under $5, too. I also got 3 stainless steel name brand pans/pots for around $6 to $8 each that I fixed up like new. It's important to mention that they no longer have fitting rooms.

You never know what you'll find but today I just had this feeling. Most of the toys I thought about getting from a website months ago actually ended up being there and intact. I love shopping here

I like savers, I found some good treasures there. Just today I found a glass bottle with a good stopper on it to use in my yogurt and Kiefer making. Plus Tuesday is a senior day gives me a good discount. I highly recommend it.

Great spot to find bargains. The clothes are well organise by style and size which make shopping a lot easier. It's hard to predict what is available but the furniture deals are insane, 10$ for a good kitchen table set it 5$ for a good dresser are not uncommon. It's worth the trip.

Better selection of name-brand items and better prices than the Warwick location. Staff always eager to assist. I visit often and always purchase more than one item. They have deals and discounts that provide even greater savings. For pre-owned products this should be the first stop. Conveniently located right off of Rt. 95.

Great selection! I prefer to stop by Savers before I hit a major department store or mall, because you never know what you can find! Lots of great toys and shoes, hidden gems in the clothes racks! Take your time and search!
