My wife came here looking for a recliner. She had been to some of the big brand furniture shops and wasn't knocked out with the selection or prices.  At classy cat she found exactly what she was looking for and they really cut her a good deal.  She was raving about the customer support and said the staff couldn't have been nicer. Wonderful store filled with great finds! I was searching for an antique dining table for our 200 year old farmhouse and found the perfect one here. The staff helped me load the table and made the process so easy!

I'm so glad I found Classy Cat as a new resident of Nashville. We're thrilled with ALL the pieces we found there and my husband says that the (chaise) sofa I bought is this "best thing I've ever bought!" This is an excellent consignment furniture store located across the road from Costco! We have purchased several chairs, artwork, and a dining set ever since we discovered this hidden gem over 10 years ago. I love stopping by and seeing what new items are available for sale—the staff is so friendly and helpful and the store layout is spacious and clean.

Stumbled upon this gem today and I will definitely be back. The customer service was great and they have so many gorgeous pieces. Everything is so pristine, it's hard to believe the items are consigned! If you're looking for unique furniture, artwork, etc, you have to make a stop there!

What an amazing gem! I was so excited to find this place and let me say if you have high end taste on a low end budget skip goodwill and head here! Beautiful affordable art, decor and furniture ranging from $25 to $250 and up! We will be coming back often. I even asked about bar stools, they took my number and texted me pictures when some new ones came in. They were perfect it just happened at Christmas so we couldn't swing it. Here's some of the awesome finds I drooled over while window shopping!

Classy Cat Consignment has become a favorite go-to when I’m hunting for unique furnishings for my home.  Looking around our rooms,  I can see many of our favorite “finds” from the Seaboard Lane establishment that give our abode that eclectic feel.  I’ve purchased everything from light fixtures to art to more standard room anchors such as sectionals, headboards and desks.   And the best part....I’m not paying retail!  I’ve also consigned pieces to the store and made some money with gently used items that need to go when I’m looking for a change.  Store owner, Mike Anderson,  is particular about what is taken in for his inventory which results in a carefully curated collection.  Items are given a starting price and that is reduced the longer a piece goes without being bought.  This means additional bargains for shoppers but I will caution, if you really love something, buy it right away or it may be gone by the time you return for it.  I’m a frequent visitor to the store even when I’m not specifically looking for something.  The space is pleasant, the inventory every changing and the staff very friendly and accommodating.  Furnishing a new home, or redecorating can be a costly undertaking. Finds at “The Cat” can defray some of that expense and the hunt is part of the fun.

My sister and I were both very impressed with the quality of consignment furniture in this shop.  The staff was amazing as well and were happy to assist with negotiating on the already very reasonable prices.  The storefront is a bit meager but the caliber of furnishings is impressive.  If you’re in the Franklin area stop by and see for yourself - you will be glad you did.

Great inventory!! They've got great options... and all looks like in really good condition.  We found the perfect dining table that I had been looking for weeks for.  The owner, Mike, was fantastic and helpful.  And KUDOS to them for having such a great website ! I'll definitely be back!

We found this shop when we were visiting consignment shops in the Franklin area. We found a cute coffee table for a great price. After looking around we wished we had known about this place sooner. Definitely will be a go to place in the future for furniture! The owners are super friendly with great customer service which is a plus.

Classy Cat is truly a class act. I wanted to sell nine pieces of contemporary furniture after moving to New York, when I no longer had room for the items and did not want to pay for storage. They knew exactly what would sell in the store and also how to price each item. Everything sold within a few months. I have worked with other consignment stores before, and Classy Cat is certainly one of the best.  Highly recommended.

We had a very positive experience.  They were quick to respond to our questions about selling the furniture, and they came out to the house in just a few days after we first spoke. They were honest and fair in their assessment and the furniture sold relatively quickly.

I've made several purchases and come in often. I love the shopping experience and still have items I'm looking for. Often I see something entirely unexpected that catches my fancy. Staff always approaches me to see if I need guidance then leaves me alone to  enjoy browsing through the  inventory.

My son recently relocated to Nashville and had to furnish an entire apartment from scratch. Wish we stopped in at Classy Cat Consignment first because they have THE BEST furniture and accessories. They are selective about what they put on the floor and everything looks brand new. Prices are a fraction of what we would have paid retail. The only problem is the inventory moves fast so you have to grab things when you see them. We were thinking about a couple of items and returned later in the day to purchase them only to discover that 1/2 the store had been sold! They also hire the most friendly, personable, and helpful staff. Gayle and Jennifer are both awesome to work with. I will be returning the next time I'm in Nashville!

Classy Cat is one of the best furniture stores around anywhere. The showroom is full of quality pieces and it is constantly changing. It is a very large showroom! The owners Paul and Phyllis are authentic and helpful. The prices are competitive and match the quality of the piece. If you are in need of furniture I really recommend checking this place out. We are getting ready to spend some more money there in the near future.

If you are looking to save, you should get good prices and might find what you want among the various pieces of furniture they have on a given day. A little bit up scale, but still have some decent prices. Friendly, helpful staff.

This place used to be good now they have overpriced used junk like Finders Keepers does down the road.  When they do have high end used furniture they price it so high it defeats buying used buying near near new prices.  Go back to your old model this one just not working.

So the place has some decent stuff but it’s really overpriced though.  Sometimes I can do better buying something brand new on sale for the price on the lower end things that they sell.  Then they’ll sell old furniture that’s many years old with scratches all over it for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars.  They will compare  to something brand new but they will not take into account that is still a couple of decades old with scratches so the discount should be 90% not 40%.  they charge so high because they take half and they have to make it worth their while for the co-signer so way too much money for what they’re selling here it’s realistically almost at new prices.

Andrew- thank you for stating your perspective on this situation.  You had said in an original email that “The furniture is in my my ex-wife’s house so I can’t really tell you it’s ok to go over and look at it.”  I know after that you had arranged for Jen to go over there, but based on previous experiences with a divorce, it can put our company in a difficult situation if there is a dispute about who owns the furniture.  We know you had mentioned that you owned the furniture, but sometimes the ex spouse may say differently, and than we end up in a situation where we are not sure who to pay, who owns the furniture etc.   Therefore based on wanting to protect our company from being caught in the middle of a potentially difficult situation, we decided to not move forward with having you consign our furniture with us.  I hope you don’t take it personally, we just have specific guidelines that we try and follow when situations like this happen.

I tried consigning furniture with Classy Cat and was treated so unprofessionally because of my "divorce situation".  I have been divorced for 11 years and my ex wife sold the home we once shared, offering me furniture which I decided to consign. I tried consigning with Classy Cat, followed the instructions online as I had been instructed to do, and then received an email that an attendant from the store had to inspect the furniture.  I arranged for the inspection and then received the following from Jennifer. I couldn't believe what I was reading as this attendant never once had the courtesy to actually get the context of my request and instead made a rude assumption. So unprofessional!!

After speaking with my Manager, Renzo, we think it's best that if you would like to consign your furniture, you are welcome to make an appointment to bring it by the Store. If it's in good shape we will take it and have you fill out a Contract at that time. So I will not be coming by to look at the furniture. I'm so sorry but these divorce situations can be tricky when it comes to personal property. We have experienced this situation before and it hasn't ended well. I hope you understand.

I do take this personally. Jennifer could have actually picked up the phone and called me and would have understood the situation. Hard to believe - but an actual voice and talking to the customer - and not relying on email — may  actually help your customer relations. You would have then understood that this was an easy transaction.
