There's a pretty interesting selection. Unfortunately, due to a lack of space, I couldn't actually get anything for my place but it was nice to look at.

i am a collector and dealer of antiques from southwest va and i recently visited anchor antiques on broad st, kingsport tenn. and was amazed at the wide variety of rare and hard to find collectables and antiques. everything from fine art and silver to pottery, fine art glass, and advertisements. They have more hard to finhaved rare items than any other antique shop i have visited and expected to see much higher prices but with the retail market down you can tell they have had to adjust. The owners were very helpful and offered aboutscuss and talk about the history of any item i asked about and were willing to make a deal which is hard to find these days. so if ur looking for something rare and valuable that nobody else will have in their collection or home visit anchor antiques in kingsport tenn.

We have been antique shopping several times lately in the Tri-Cities and have always enjoyed visiting Anchor Antiques. The Owners are very courteous & knowledgeable and the antiques & collectibles are all of fine quality. We will return often to see what new pieces they may have. Fans of Anchor Antiques

Definitely some better options out there. With high-prices and uptight staff you'd be better off at the Haggle Shop or P&J's - both places being just down the street. Don't get me wrong, there's the occasional good find here, but for the most part, don't expect much courtesy from the staff if you're just browsing.

If you're going to open a store in general, the idea is to sell items in said store. The price on the item is the cost to buy, you cannot change it at time of checkout. This place is ridiculous and the owner just needs to shut down and move the items back to their house. Go to Homestead shoppe in Church Hill, that is a real business.
