Most items were brand new/barely used. Everything was in great condition. The staff is wonderful and so helpful. The prices are unbelievably low. I got my son a baseball helmet that still had the tags on it for $7. I love this place and wish I had discovered it sooner.

I love this store! The staff is friendly and the store is clean, it doesn't have that thrift store smell. The clothing and furniture prices are better than KARM and Goodwill everyday of the week, with better name brands. The furniture is always nice. I can't say loud enough, SHOP HERE!!

It was a good last minute stop. I hadn't been in a hot minute so I was able 2 find a few deals that I couldn't pass up of course 😁 The staff was nice. The store is clean n the staff is helpful n pleasant.

I have a hard time passing this place up on my visits to Knoxville, wish it were kept more of a secret. The volunteers who staff it are kept very busy because the merchandise is so cheap everyone finds something to buy.

The Good Neighbor Shop is a life line to many in Loudon  County Tennessee. The funds raised from sales go to several area charities that support the needs of people hungry, short on utility payments and such. They have good quality merchandise from donations in the area. Worth a visit to see the wide variety of items they have.

I love going into the Good Neighbor Shoppe and browsing. I usually find more than my share of items to purchase!! Everyone there is so kind and friendly and the place is always so clean!! One of favorite places to shop!!

I have been many times and enjoyed every visit. Much of the furniture in my home  came from there. It is always clean with great staff and wonderful merchandise.

This is a nice clean shop. It is well organized with some great ever changing finds. The folks who run this place take pride in what they do and it shows.

Places like this are the best to shop. There are lots of high-end items but also just good basic everyday clothes all at great prices. Plus every dollar you spend there goes directly back to the community. The better quality donations go out on the sales floor but they also accept things like clean socks and underwear that go to Appalachia or women shelters. Donating is a win-win it helps others and keeps things out of the landfill.

Clean and organized. Smelled fresh . They do an excellent job in organizing, seal bagging some items. Everything is fresh and very reasonable prices. I am so glad I went check this place out. I will stop in again.

Love it! Lady told me today that starting in September they will stay open until 7pm on Thursdays. Yay!

This is one of the better thrift stores in the Knoxville TN area. They are open 5 days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. They offer a mixture of home and kitchen items, clothing, books etc and a mix of unusual items donated from an area where most residents have a higher income and lifestyle and many of the items you find reflect this reality. You are more likely to see higher quality items at a reasonable price than you do at the more well known thrift stores. I tell people to back into your parking space here because it makes getting out so much easier. And make sure you are on the lookout for really unique items to be gifts for your friends who value a good high  quality item.

Hit or miss, mostly good stuff cheap, sometimes a bust. I love checking them out.

Nice employees and a good atmosphere. Everything is priced lowed and products are well maintained. They sell attractive paintings and picture frames for a fraction of the price at a store.

They aren’t very welcoming to families with children. I heard a staff member yell at someone else’s kids while we were there. We kept getting dirty looks. The lady that checked us out was very rude to us. She couldn’t get us out fast enough and then just gave us a snarky “bye” and wave. I will say that one of their employees did come up to my kids and offer them a free toy but the vibe is overwhelmingly “get your kids out of here”. I do love how they give back to the community and they usually have neat things at great prices and I still plan to shop there on those rare occasions that I get to shop alone. We just won’t be able to support their business as much as I’d like to because usually I do have a kid or 2 with me while I’m shopping.

Prices are decent and most of the staff is okay. I’m always thrilled to support local businesses vs the big chains but be sure to read the signs or else!

I was a little disheartened by one staff members. It was my first time in the shop and I was really excited to see how great all their stuff was except I made a mistake of not observing their signage on the floor and accidentally ended up in the back part next to the kitchenware section and saw a vase that looked interesting. A lady came up and was really confrontational even after I immediately apologized for my mistake and went to leave the area. Instead I was given a lecture. It wasn’t a comfortable experience instead of just “Hey, it’s okay just a mistake. Please make sure to observe the signs in the future.”

I was essentially told I was stupid. What should’ve been a small correction became way more than necessary. As a customer, I shouldn’t have to be the one trying to defuse a situation with staff when I wasn’t confrontational or hostile in any manner.

I don’t think we will be returning as I’ve seen other reviews of others being harassed or treated in a similar fashion. Especially when it was an honest mistake on my behalf. I’d suggest to the shop owners to maybe put an obvious barrier as most shops do so it’s not mistaken for future patrons. The rest of the staff were really sweet and kind to me, my mother and my son. It almost made up for the rest of the experience but not quite as it’s become apparent they allow some of their staff to behave this way to many. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

I'm glad they give back to community according to the other reviews.  This is not an average thrift store. The prices are above average and more like a consignment shop with consignment prices.  Compared  to TJMaxx vs new items. Some things  are priced higher than retail new! ( SALE) I think everyone is on the look at used online for pricing!  No anyone can list it doesn't mean it is worth it!

The last three times I've gone to the store I have been rudely waited on by a lady name Peggy she is very rude and all around just acts so unhappy to be there from now on I will not make to half hour drive to visit this store and I'll just go some where more local there is just no need to be so rude

Awful experience. The staff is very unfriendly to families with young kids. Yelled at my children for walking three steps in front of me. Great store for elderly shoppers. Not great for families nor youth.

does not allow service dogs even though the sign on the door clearly that they do we were ran out of the store and threated with calling the authorities even seeing the papers for our dog that certifies it as a full blown service dog so clearly there's going to be some legal action taken

I would never use this store!!! My mother called to donate some items. She has been tasked to unexpectedly sell her and my fathers home due to health issues. She asked the individual on the phone if they could come pick up the items, his response was to laugh at her....he actually laughed at my mother. You have no idea what she has been through. This is your idea of custom service, laughing at an elderly woman in her darkest hours. A simple no mama I'm sorry we dont pick up items would have done the job. I am disgusted by the actions of this individual and hope that no one ever enters this business again. I guess it's too much to ask for to just be kind to one another. So much for good o'l southern hospitality.....so all I can say is "BLESS YOUR HEART"

I had to rent a 40 foot u-haul to move some furniture that the owner wanted to be donated at this store. I parked and went inside to find out where to unload. It took over 5 minutes get someone's attention then I was told to go back outside and ask someone what to do. I was beginning to back the box-truck (40footer) through the parking lot and around behind the building because they have an awning with height limitations. I've driven trucks this size almost daily for the past four years so it's no big deal to me back around the whole parking lot and building because they don't want to carry anything 20 foot further than normal. I get in the truck and light a cigarette and try to enjoy a bit of A/C for a moment while I wait on the people in the vehicle next to me to slowly but surely get in their car and finally drive away. Finally I get to move and just as I get the truck straightend up in the little parking lot. Just as im starting to finally get something done, the guy I thought was going to guide me around the building comes to me and tells me to take it to Habitat for humanity.
