I have been buying mostly coins (foreign and U.S.) from Taylor Grace for several years. I love the fact that I get to see (close-up front/back & zoom in on) hundreds of actual coins, on the website before I purchase them. This has been a game changer for me. I spend less time ordering from coin magazines where they choose the quality of the coins they will be sending you. When I show up to pick up my coins they are very friendly, knowledgeable, and a joy to work with. My original review complained about what I felt was undue delay in receiving payment for items I had placed on consignment for auction, and I only chose three stars in my review. But Zoey's detailed response below satisfied my concerns about the payment process, and I have changed my rating to five stars. I want to stress that I've always had a positive experience in on-site interactions with T-G personnel and look forward to continued auction fun.
Peggy, It took me a minute to find your check as you are using a different name. I suppose I should be clear about a few points for all that read this. First being I conduct auctions at least 5 days of the week. So let's say I conduct a Monday sale like yours was in, then I'd have to do accounting virtually 5 days a week to adhere to a strict 15 business day policy. A more apt way of saying it is I cut checks the Friday of the 15th business day. Because it only makes sense to sit down and cut a hundred checks at once making time for it than trying to find time daily to cut 20. The other point to address is the difference between payment and cutting checks. You are correct, I do require payment immediately, do I always get it? No. Do I sometimes have to relist, yes do I sometimes get payment weeks later..yes. There are a host of factors that go into that business practice. I typically do about 15 business days. Heritage does 30 days. (requiring payment quickly) as does Sotheby's and so on. Then once I cut the check it goes into the mail. When I post my online personal bill pay there is a warning that comes up that says usps is taking longer than expected. I can not help the times for the USPS. And we have talked about other methods of doing payments. But since our older folks arent always technically savvy, we have decided to stay with one type payment than having options simply for time sakes. With that said, we have many people that opt to pick up their checks. I'm sorry that you feel there was a delay, but I cut the check the same day I always do. Take care, Zoey Grace

Tyler Grace made it very easy to compete with other bidders and very easy to collect my winnings. I have a sick mother in San Antonio. I’ve been using Tyler Grace Auctions for several years now — both as a buyer and a seller and highly recommend them for others who love auctions like I do! They get such a good variety of cool stuff — it’s always very tempting to bid! But on the flip side, it’s a great place to take your no-longer-needed stuff (when you need to make room for all the new stuff you just got from them!) :) Seriously, I hate filling up landfills with unused stuff that others may need. So donating, regifting and auctioning help me out a lot with that. And it’s a lot of fun, especially when all the bids are coming in on your items or when you are in a contest with someone else to place the highest bid on that item you just have to have! Also, the folks at Tyler Grace know what they’re doing and help you every step of the way.
