I recently received an antique desk from my grandparents’ estate that was damaged during shipping. Martin was not only able to expertly repair the damage, but he also took the time to clean and wax the desk. I have never seen this desk look as good as it does now! I found Antique Restoration Masters LLC listed in D Magazine as the go to place to have antique furniture repaired and refinished. I purchased a 19th century bijouterie curio thru Chairish. Sadly, it was severely damaged by water during shipping. Chairish refunded my cc and told me I could either keep it or trash it. It is too beautiful of a piece to throw away. Martin & Monica at Antique Restoration Masters brought it back to life. I can’t thank them enough. They are truly miracle workers. I am absolutely ecstatic with the work done on our buffet/hutch. It suffered from mishandling during a home remodel. It had warping, some missing leg pieces, and I was concerned about its structural integrity. Martin was able to replace the missing leg pieces; matching the stain and finish perfectly. He let me know that the buffet did have major structural damage. He was able to add internal pieces to bolster the buffet. He reduced the warping substantially. There are no longer gaps above the drawers and they now open smoothly due to additional internal pieces he added. The cabinet doors stay closed and the hutch doors fit and open well. Exceptional work.

Let me tell you a story about how an antique Singer sewing table went from actual trash to a beautiful treasure. I have wanted a Singer table for as long as I can remember, but could never find one that called to me. I was leaving the house one day and it was cold and pouring rain, when I saw this beauty on the curb alongside other discarded items waiting for trash to come pick it up. I drove past it... and then stopped. I called my husband and begged him to pull it to our garage (which was caddy corner to this house). I was absolutely giddy with excitement until I realized that this table was probably beyond saving. It had been outside and was in sad shape. I got online and looked for antique restoration places. ARM stood out to me. I contacted them, they put me on the waitlist, and I impatiently waited to bring in the table. After dropping off the table, I got so excited to see what they could do with it. I was surprised BEYOND my wildest expectations on the work they did on the table! I had tears in my eyes when I saw it restored. Every little detail was taken into consideration. It's incredibly difficult to find good, genuine people who do honest work like at ARM. They are kind, they were patient with me when I would contact them, and JUST LOOK at the work! I am convinced that they are magical. I would give them 15 stars if I could. I enjoyed this experience and got to take home a piece of trash that had been turned into something that my husband and I can admire for many, many years. I cannot thank ARM enough for what they did. I would highly recommend Martin & Monica to anyone looking for restoration work! We took in my great grandmothers trunk from the 1880's to have restored so our children could enjoy it in the future. I was blown away by how good they are! I was so excited to see it when they were done, and they delivered a masterpiece for us. Wonderful people to deal with and amazing at what they do. Martin & Monica (owners) took a crumbling, old, antique, plaster statue... that should have possibly been thrown in the dumpster... and completely revived it. It looks perfect as if it had just been made! I never imagined how incredible it would be when they finished it up. I would recommend them for any restoration project imaginable. Thank you!

Martin and Monica were prompt in answering questions, upfront about costs, and professional in every way. They are also genuinely lovely people. They understood my sentimental attachment to the furniture my great-grandfather built. Additionally when my husband and I came to pick up the gorgeously repaired cabinets, our truck battery decided to die in their parking lot. Martin helped my husband remove the battery, drove him to the battery store and helped him install it again. Extremely good-hearted folks! Very thankful to them.

Hoping for a miracle, I left an often- (poorly) repaired, moth and vermin damaged antique table in the very capable hands of Antique Restoration Masters. The table had belonged to my grandmother and had deep sentimental value attached to it so I took a chance with ARM. I KNEW the moment I stepped into their offices that they were the right choice. I picked up the table this afternoon and was left speechless by the quality of Martin’s work. The table looks fantastic but has retained its character and patina.
