What can I say about this El Paso mainstay that El Pasoans that frequent don't already know? BUT, if you happen to not be aware, this is quite simply THE place to go for all your music related needs (and wants). No matter what location they've been, the atmosphere is always welcoming, the selection wide, and the staff top notch.

I was so pleased to find a vinyl store here. They had an excellent selection of vinyl! I only wished the store was larger to fit more.

no dollar records but they have a $3 section which is fairly robust

Been coming here for years, even before they relocated to The Fountains. They have such a wide collection of CDs, Vinyls, & DVDs, both brand new and used. Speaking of, I went in to sell some old DVDs and the process was very smooth. I recommend this place to anyone who loves music, and physical media!

Nice area to pass the time with family. We grabbed a frozen yogurt and enjoyed the evening walking around.

Great selection and a wide variety of genres, artists, and albums to select from. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, and even if your go-to album/artist has been sold out, they’ll gladly help place an order. You can even call in to have your record of choice put on hold until you pick it up! Besides vinyl, there’s also many fun novelty items for some of the bigger artists that can make great gifts and decor to add your collection. This is a great place to stop by while at the Fountains!

I used to go to their shop in what is now Batteries + since 2013 They rock. now that All that Music has relocated to The Fountains of Farrah. They have mostly new and used vinyl records and cd's. They have older music formats such as cassettes, 8 tracks and some 78's. They also offer stereo equipment and other hi-fi items.

This store has a healthy supply of collectibles, vinyl records, shirts, etc. it also carries a variety of genres for all sorts of consumers. Definitely recommend. My sister officially purchased her first vinyl record at this place. Definitely recommend. 👍

The selection here is massive!
First time Ive had to leave records that I actually like behind just because I already so many picked out.
I see alot of complaints talking about the prices and everything I bought, including one out of print record, was fairly priced.
Tom was a great chat and the rest of the staff were pleasant.

One of the best record stores I’ve ever been at!!! There is a HUGE record selection of any type of music you can think of, there is also selection of DVDs and CDs in alphabet order and the owner is very nice and loves music. Should go visit!!!

Quaint little store, had about everything that I could think of, minus a few music groups.  Bile, Samael, Meshuggah to name a few, but they had plenty more bands that I enjoy.

The staff was super nice and informed me that they get stuff weekly.

There store is FULL of vinyl, but I'm that there yet in purchasing a turn table.

I recommend this store to those that prefer CDs and vinyl.

Love this place a MUST stop EVERY time I'm in the El Paso area. I never leave empty handed and actually need to start a go fund me before I visit because I know I'm not leaving without spending at least a few hundred dollars. (JK on the go fund me part) but I do leave broke. Well worth it! 5 stars for me!!

Very helpful, polite and knowledgeable about their products. The power went out while I was there so I couldnt buy with my debit card. So, they willingly held on to my stack and calledme the next morning when they opened. Very all about the customer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great Place to find all the Vinyls you like the staff is super friendly and helpful. The vinyls are the same price as in internet. They sell nothing but quality.

This place is aptly named. If you are looking for anything for a music lover you have to come here! Their inventory is vast and they have a huge variety of genres, posters and accessories. If you want vinyl they have a great selection of premium and used with a sweet deal on bundles. Honestly they have so much I haven't seen the entire store! Thier staff are knowledgeable and friendly with cat-like reflexes! Will definitely be returning!

I usually visit to find a lucky pick for the week, I've never left this store disappointed. The owner n store reps are great if you need something thats not in store they'll be more than happy to order it for you.

Very large selection of music, movies, and posters. Super friendly staff that will go above and beyond to help you find what you're looking for. I'll definitely be back everytime I'm in El Paso. Glad to see real music stores still exist.

You pay a little above sticker price for CD's there but but they are locally owned. Went looking for the artic monkeys new CD and you would think that best buy or Wal Would have it but we have entered the digital age and these places don't want to sell CD's no more. Luckily I went to all that music and got it there. Next time I'm not going to mess around I'm just going to go straight there.

Always a great trip to take to see the large array of music memorabilia! My first stop for rare Selena CDs and Vinyls.... This is where I also purchased the very hard to find CD singles to Cher’s “Believe” and Céline Dions “My Heart Will Go On”!

Staff is very friendly and the selection is great.  Always find something to walk out with.  George and his people really welcome you and are very helpful. Have been frequenting this establishment for decades and have never been dissapointed. If you are looking for music, no matter what genre, this is the place to go.

Gr8 place 2 find DVD's new and used, at a pretty decent price. Plan 2 inform all my family and friends of this location 2 purchase DVD's, CAUSE or albums.

Tom was very helpful and very informative.  My one complaint, and I would have purchased records, were the prices.

New Order, Portishead,  Skinny Puppy, Joy Division, Elton John, Led Zeppelin...all were overpriced.

I ended up buying some inner sleeve antistatic protective covers, which were sensibility priced.

All in all, great staff 👍

They do all my LPs and would have given me credit, but I just wanted to unload them. They seem to have a large selection, and were very friendly and helpful.

This place is great, they do have a large collection of vintage and new edition long play vinyl, there is no one bothering you and like I said, you can really find some classics and hidden gems...

I was there a few days ago and I have to say that the gentleman that helped me was awesome!! I believe his name was Reuben.  Reuben was very helpful. I have never met a young man that was so polite and knowledgeable and helpful. What a breath of fresh air!! Truly! He knew his stuff and directed me to exactly what was looking for.  This employee stood out because of his very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable persona. I have been here several times before and Reuben definitely stood out. He went above and beyond to help me. Thank you Reuben! On the other hand, I would like to say that there was another employee there that looked like a bum. He looked upset. Not very customer friendly.  Had he been the only employee there, I would have walked out and never come back.  He smelled horribly of cigarette smoke.

Even thou the new store is smaller than the previous one, it has a messy feeling to it. Got a couple of records at a fair price. The attention remains the same…. Whatever that means.

Great to visit their new location. A lot smaller and not as many vinyl that I'm used to from them. Was looking forward to buy new vinyl on my visit to El Paso. Wish them luck.

Not a bad place to dig (I’m not into repressed or RSD re-releases).  BUYER BEWARE - any vintage records of value are sold on eBay and are NOT on the floor.   Also, 12” singles are RESEALED and customers are unable to view the actual condition.  This is a big problem for me.  Mainly because grading a record is subjective and will vary from collector to collector.  However they do grade and place a sticker (based on their views).  I purchased about 10x12” singles and got burned with 1.  The record was graded FG (which I think means “fairly good”) but the record came out with many scratches.   Anyhow, their grading system seems inconsistent.

RUDE . When you can find everything they see online and better prices. You would think it they would treat you better when you buy from them.

Went to the counter, the two employees were talking about work, so I waited patiently. Then the one said 'Sorry. Just need a minute '. Was not a problem at all. I took a few steps away so they could work. I waited by the counter for a few minutes while being ignored.
This man walks up to the counter with me waiting there and the lady says 'How can I help you ' and starts scanning his item.
I left.

Oh boy!  Pardon my sarcasm but I’m very sorry to hear this response to what was a tongue-in-cheek, off-the-cuff comment.  Anybody who knows me well, knows that I have a goofball sense of humor.  The “did you forget your wallet?” or “Did you bring your wallet?” comment is a one-liner I have used occasionally for decades, as a greeting with friends and good customers, implying that I know you’re going to find something today.  It’s usually a great ice-breaker, intended to generate a good chuckle and loosen-up the atmosphere among friends.  I'm the guy with the weirdest sense of humor on the block, sometimes misunderstood. But that's how I've coped with the ups and downs of the business for so many years.  Don’t know if you overheard me or if my comment was directed to you directly, but nonetheless my apologies if you were offended.

All our staff is keenly aware that I am fiercely against any up-selling or hustling customers for a sale.  It is not the culture or marketing strategy that has kept us a successful local business for over 40 years.  Although I am rarely at the Fountains store, I personally give away or heavily discount product regularly to our most loyal and regular customers.  Two in the last week.  It’s good karma … my way of giving back and saying thank you!

The fact is, quality, in-demand vintage records are increasingly difficult to find.  The best records are usually in the bins for less than 48 hours. Part of the fun of record collecting is being the first to find them. We are presently stocking 200-400 unique items per week.  That said, we have a regular stream of collectors who often walk out empty-handed.  No offense, we understand, maybe next time, it was good to see you anyway.  That’s record collecting.  Thanks for allowing us this opportunity to clarify any misconceptions about myself, our store and record collecting.

Sometimes they have a cool selection of records but for the most part they usually cycle the same records every other month, or at least that’s what it seems. I’ve dropped a good amount of money at his store on records, films and even posters. The reason for the one star is that this one time me and my brother didn’t find anything We liked and as We were walking out the door the owner of the store (George) made a very condescending comment out loud in front of his own customers he said “did you guys forget your wallets?”. It really rubbed me the wrong way. I recommend the new store sound decay records in down town El Paso they have a much more obscure selection of records so you’re more than likely going to find something you like there. Plus they’re reggae is mixed in with the country 🤮. And if you do find reggae its just a bunch of bob Marley.

This place really bad service for returns....place ask the to check any item you buy there, before taking it home . I bought a concert , disc wouldn't play in any player. When returned for exchange . He apparently was causing me of lying and that item wasn't bought there. With receipt  and disc like new he didn't have the time to check why this disc was even in this outlet! BAD..BAD...BAD!
