Every time I go to 2nd Debut, I’m greeted by the manager with a smile. He always asks how he can help. He explains the style and condition of the item that interests me. His prices are always reasonable. His delivery service is a good price and punctual. When I need a lamp or chair, or anything for the home, I go there first. What a gem! We found a couch and a small embroidered  piano bench in mint condition, both for an incredible price. Devin arranged delivery and they showed up right on time. The collection is thoughtfully curated and extremely reasonably priced. There’s a high turnover rate of stock because the deals are so good. We’ll be back, and we’ll send our friends!!

Bought a really nice table and arm chair here and a very fair price. Staff was also patient and helpful. They also have new stock coming in regularly. Overall a great experience, will be back.

We have been using 2nd debut for our home and office, and have really liked working with them. They have very high quality furniture from stores we have spent a small fortune at in the past.  They are a fraction of the price from what we’ve paid for these items new! They don’t carry furniture that is run down, so the savings is real!

They are very professional. They answered all my questions through email, came on time for pick up, sold and reported the items on their portal and sent the checks on time. I am really happy in trusting them with my furniture and the way they handled them.

1st time I visited this store . I bought one Sofa, one dining table with chairs and one twin bed frame with boxe.  Used as  a new Prices are good and staff are very kind .

Bought my bedroom set and couch set there. The bedroom set was in amazing condition couch was more warn. Got $300 for the bedroom set after I used it for two years. Overall experience was great and I’d go there again.

Manager was great. He provided us with great customer service. The store was organized. The showroom so well put together that the look of each area provided you with an image of what your choice of item would look in your home.

Great delivery personnel.  My marble top tables were meticulously padded.  The large framed print arrived in perfect condition.   I will definitely continue to shop here.

Clean, well organized and regularly have new items. If anything is there too long, they lower the price.  In all the times I have been, not once did I not get greeted and told to tell them if I needed something.

Great prices!  Selection was good, not great.  I was told that it has a lot to do with people still recovering from Hurricane Harvey.  If you see something you want,  buy it.  I forgot to go back the next day and two days later,  the there was a small table with a 'sold' sign. I found a great three piece set for my living room for under  $200!!! I'm going to make this one of my first stops when looking for furnishings.

Found what I needed right away. Store is much larger since my last visit ... prior to hurricane Harvey flooding. Will be making more visits to replace some of our lost furniture. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Jerry carried my purchase out to my SUV before I even had an opportunity to request help. Nice place too shop.

They had a lot of variety and I found myself wanting to buy more than I actually came for. They were very helpful in answering my questions. Delivery was reasonably priced and came pretty much immediately. The men brought our couch in with no issues and were very friendly.

I took my Mother to this place and she is extremely picky and she loved this place and ended up buying three pieces from them a beautiful couch, a bed bench and a large beautiful decorator mirror and she is thrilled with the quality and is very comfortable. The guys that work there were very nice and very very helpful!

I've bought quite a few things here. You never know what they will have so I would stop in every few weeks. The things I have bought were reasonably priced and the staff was friendly.
Personally I prefer a good quality antique or used piece of furniture to some of the new poorly made stuff.

Worth the stop. I am not going to say bargains; but, you might find a niche piece or two for your decor, taste & price range. I will say I have had furniture, sticker shock at some "Salvation Army" Resale Stores. 2nd Debut covers gamut of head boards, shelves, hutches, chest of drawers, dry bars, pictures, mirrors, tables, couches, & chairs. Good selection. Delivery $ is a function of your zip code relative to shop location. TonyBob says check it out.

Shopped a few consignment stores then found my couch here. Friendly service and good selection.  Prices are more than fair. Definitely would go there again.

A great place to shop for all kinds of well taken care of, previously owned furniture. Pictures, sofas, side and coffee tables,  it's all here. And if they don't have what you are looking for, you can leave your name and contact information so they can call you if they get it on. Good prices, and easy access. Give them a try before you buy.

Good mixture of mid to high quality consignment furniture. Charles was very easy to deal with and most importantly, was willing to make a deal. Found exactly what I was looking for, and compared to other places selling the same type goods, was about 25 to 30% cheaper. I'll be back...

For my budge, just a little pricey.. Nice items, very nice items and for them to be previously used id like to see 10% to 20% less on prices. This is a great place to go and yes you will probably find a few good grabs.. vintage couches, nice dressers etc..

Unfortunately, not the nicest customer “care” on the front. The delivery guys are very polite though. Not going back.

Had some nice stuff for sale, but I'll never go there again. I had a bunch of stuff to sell and I went in to see how I might consign. Guy said take pictures of everything & email it to us. I must have sent him over 200 pictures of items I thought would sell well, both furniture and decorative items. A DIFFERENT guy (from one in store) emailed me back saying theyd only take certain items. So I spent some time carefully wrapping & packing the specific approved small items, plus lamps,  pictures and a mirror that were said to be acceptable & packed up my car.  When I got there he and another guy started helping me bring everything in. He came out to the car and barely looked in my box of carefully wrapped smaller stuff & said "we're gonna pass on all this". I said "what? No this is stuff yall specifically said you wanted". He said , "this is just all small stuff & some kid will come in the store & do something with. " I said "I sent pictures of a bunch of stuff and these were things yall said you wanted ".  So he said "you know what? I dont want any of your stuff.  We've got so much stuff sitting here  already that's just gonna go to goodwill." And he went inside and brought back to my car everything already brought in. I showed him the email from Charles who had said he wanted certain items. He said "I dont care. He may say that but you bring it in and we may not want it".
Ok bye. For good. Forever, never to return.

2nd Debut Furniture has for the last 36 years, made every effort to take care of our consignors and customers in an honest and professional manner. Ms. Leger purchased a cabinet and server on Thursday Sept. 24th. On the morning of Friday, Sept. 25th we delivered a cabinet and server to Ms. Leger. Our mistake was that we unloaded and delivered the wrong cabinet to her. We discovered this mistake and called Ms leger that afternoon. Her response was that it was her cabinet and she had already painted it. Ms. leger was not called a liar, she was just informed that we wish she would have been more honest with us at the time of delivery.

If you are the type of shopper that enjoys being called a Liar by the Owner of 2nd Debut- then this is the store for you.  I chose 2 pieces, had them delivered- one was a china hutch.  I was needing a plain hutch with straight lines that could be painted. Both pieces were delivered and I immediately painted the hutch.  A week later- the delivery guy called me saying they had delivered the wrong hutch.  I told them the hutch that arrived was the one I selected and I had since painted it.  Today the Owner called me and called me liar saying that I knew when it was delivered that it was not the right hutch.  I do not take being called a Liar lightly, expecially by the Owner.  He has lost my business and several friends of mine who love to buy good used furniture.  I honestly believe the hutch is the one I selected; I have never been so disrespected by a business owner.  Whatever the problem was most professionals accept their loss and move on.  Belittling a customer and accusing me of stealing does not accompolish much but anger on both parties.  BEWARE...if you shop here be sure and take pictures of the items before you leave the store to prove you are getting the same piece.

The guy running the store (Devon) is dismissive, unfriendly and in general unhelpful. My experience consigning with them has not been a positive one. From the start they more or less called
my furniture junk even though I already sent them photos. Passed on the very same things they said they would buy...Have repeatedly asked them to mail my check.. still no check. Manager Devon was unkind every step of the way. Something needs to be done about that guy. If you've ever seen the movie Clerks it's kind of like that but the guy behind the desk is disrespectful in an unfunny way. Still very bothered about how I was treated.

The delivery people were extremely rude, especially the Hispanic person with eyeglasses. He clearly hates his job delivering furniture and used profanity in Spanish to describe myself and the store manager, Devon. The Hispanic man with eyeglasses told me that I should move the furniture that I paid $150 for delivery myself. What was the point of me paying $150 to 2nd Debut Furniture then? He said “ I was a man.” I don’t understand why 2nd Debut is hiring people who clearly hate their jobs and make customers extremely uncomfortable. I cannot recommend 2nd Debut Furniture because of my horrible experience.

I was going there to shop for some furniture but after reading the reviews, I completely changed my mind. You can't treat people disrespectfully and expect more customers.

Sorry that we did not notice the cat scratches on the sofa when it was first dropped off. We were closed the next two days(Sun/ Monday) and that is the reason for the late notice. Just to clarify, your items are not being donated to 2nd Debut Furniture. The items will be donated to Arms of Hope (in your name) who will give your items to a family in need. We will mail the donation slip to your new location. Again we apologize for the lack of communication on our part.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Don’t fall into the scam. I dropped my furniture off, they inspected it, and then called a few days later saying they couldn’t sell the items because of a few scratches. She same scratches I showed them when I dropped it off and they told me it was no big deal. I’m now 3 states away and could do nothing but tell them to donate the items. Don’t buy into the scam. I wish I would have went elsewhere instead of being forced to donate hundreds and possibly thousands this establishment.

These guys are absolutely amazing...in the bad way.

Almost a year ago, I paid them $135 to pick up a bedroom set and table in mint condition that I'd paid around $3000 for.  They didn't tell me when it was being listed or at what price.  They didn't tell me when it had sold, and I had to follow up months later.

They sold the set and my cut is $300.  Ok, I get it...it's a resale shop.  They never sent me a check.  Supposedly they have it there, and I've asked them to mail it.  It's a 45 minute drive to get there and another 45 minutes back.

I've sent them 6 emails asking them to please send me the check in the mail.  They keep asking me to come in.  At this rate, it would have been more cost effective for me to have set the furniture on fire.

Hopefully, at least, it found a good home, but I wouldn't suggest working with these guys.
