As soon as you walk into the Arcade, the vibe is immediately noticeable.  I was reminded of the 90's and the arcade scene of those days.  It was amazing how many games were packed into that space, but it was surprisingly ergonomic!  I especially love how the fighting games are in the back, away from the music games.  It makes it easier to focus when you're playing your street fighter or tekken.  No matter what kind of games you enjoy, you're sure to find something to pour your time into.  Everything was also well-maintained and functioned as it was supposed to.  Not your typical pizza arcade experience where half the machines are maintained properly.  I shall definitely return!

Super amazing arcade and it had so many of my favorite games packed in an efficient space. I am starting the maimai grind here to take off the stress from dental school so it truly is a blessing for this to be nearby!

This is my regular go to spot for Japanese arcade rhythm games since I found this place as it is pretty near where I live. I met with a lot of friends here and honestly for anyone visiting and planning to return don't be shy to talk to a few people playing the arcade rhythm games, you might make a few new friends

This is a hidden gem in Houston TX   we had a great time here loved the Luigi's ghost hunting game 🎮

I originally found this place bc it has the only Dancerush Stardom cabinet between here and San Antonio. Imo this is an arcade that has all the good stuff and none of the fluff- given I mostly only go to arcades to play rhythm games so I might be a little biased.

Great spot to take the kids. Not crowded. Although the majority of the games are not in English, the kids were able to figure it out. Overall a good time

Loved all the games, especially wacca and nostalgic. The worker was super friendly, loved the cosplay and customer service. The claw machines are a little buggy and wont go down all the way or just eats the coins. The snack selection was a little limited but overall a great experience. Would come back again!

$10 for all day Sunday. Lots of rhythm games. My favorite was Dance Rush and the drum game. Staff was friendly. Nice to have an arcade on this part of town.

I HAD FUN, especially since I'm a rhythm gamer, not usually "Arcade." This opened a new fun for me. LIKE TAIKO, Hatsune miku, and many other games I could say I very much like this place. Arcade version of the games such a different experience !

visited while on a brief vacation and i was obsessed. my only complaint was the gashapon machines were basically all empty (but that could have changed since). it's a flat fee to play games as long as you want. getting to play my favorite japanese game pop'n music was awesome since it's hard to find anywhere in the US!!

The nice thing about the flat rate all-day pass is that I got to play some new games that I’ve seen before but didn’t want to pay extra to play at other arcades, like maimai and taiko drum master! I also got to play dancerush for the first time and it was unexpectedly super fun :)

I came to play pump it up and the machine (running PIU XX) is well maintained, except that the left handlebar is loose.

Checked this place out today as a place for my nephews and niece. The people were cool, It was really cool and the cost was definitely reasonable. If you're into those games I definitely recommend you go and have some fun!

Great little spot in Pearland for all sorts of Japanese games and snacks. We decided to go as a family and loved every minute of it! Some games were not on, but that's understandable, and something normal in arcades! Absolutely LOVED the vibe and atmosphere. Plus open games for 10 bucks a person on Sundays?! Sign me up! Other players were respectful and we all took turns accordingly. Super nice host as well! My kiddo was able to experience what games we used to play and found some new games he loves! A great confidence booster for his self-esteem! It was rad to feel like a kid again! Thank you for the dope experience!

When I wrote the initial review, it seems that I have just attempted to go to okashi when it was labeled in a different location. The signage was there but the spot was clearly empty.

But past all the confusion they’re back in their original spot and there’s even an added fighting games spot.

Im glad Okashi is back, their one time payment for accessing the whole arcade is the best business practice ever. I don’t have to worry about how I’m spending my tokens and it keeps the vibes incredibly chill with my homies.

If you're an avid rhythm gamer and happen to be in the Houston area, I STRONGLY recommend trying this place out. They pretty much have every popular rhythm game here, which you can play to the full extent the game gives, something not even Round1 can replicate.

Good price for unlimited play and lots of Japanese only games. This place would be much more fun if they ever chose to expand or move to larger location.

Haven't been to arcade in a long time, so seeing this pop up so close to me was a huge surprise.
I didn't quite expect the selection there, but I was genuinely stunned at the incredible display of rhythm games present. There's Project Diva, Beatmania, Dance Dance Revolution, Taiko no Tatsujin, Pop's Music, and many more that I'd never even heard of prior to entering the store.
While rhythm games were definitely the strength, there were still quite a variety of other games, like Initial D, Luigi's Mansion, and some fun party games, all imported.
There's some fun stuff for fighting/action game fans too, like Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, Tekken 7, and Gundame Extreme Versus. There're also setups for BYOC play.
The staff were also super friendly and there are a nice variety of snacks in the front.
A lot of things to do that you probably will not find anywhere else. An absolute recommend!

I absolutely love this place it's rhythm game heaven! I brought my BF from out of state to visit the IIDX cabinet and we can both say Okashi is better than any arcade even Round 1 🫶 the amount imported games is dope! I will say that it probably leans more towards experienced rhythm gamers, but its fun for everyone.

All of the games are in good condition, the snacks/ drinks are yummy, and the employees and players here are all super friendly. Okashis got a cool community revisiting it to play often.

They occasionally change the layout, I believe, to fit more games which is awesome. Although parking is a lil tight I always recommend this place to family for fun and friends who are serious gamers!

Went here played some arcade saw 3rd strike  played it for 6 hours. Lol has other arcades which are insanely good , but this place atmosphere is great and would come back

If you’re a rhythm gamer you’ll love it here. Huge selection of Japanese rhythm games along with fighting and racing games. The machines are well maintained and I only encountered a couple not working. Prices are reasonable but the discount days are a great deal. The area can get a bit cramped but there’s tables to sit down and relax after a gaming session.

When it comes to taiko, unfortunately even if we had the newer cab there isn’t network support for it. 

This is legitimately the best place to play Japanese rhythm games in Houston period. I love to come here every once in a while to chill out and play some of machines that I once thought was impossible to reach unless I'm in Japan.

The only thing I wish they have is the latest Taiko cabinet. Sure, they do have the latest software version of Taiko: Nijiro running, but the hardware itself is version 13 (if I remember correctly). This means that I can't use my Namco pass and save any of my scores which sucks since this is the only machine that has this problem. All other games are pass compatible. If you don't care about Taiko, everything else is perfect!

As an avid player of Rhythm games, this one is a real hidden gem. If you want to try some new and imported (directly from JP) arcade games, this place is a must. Cost wise it is also very accessible, charging around 20 dollars for as long as you want to stay. I only recommend for those that are new to it, to eventually look into making/purchasing an IC card to save your data.

one of my favorite spots to hang out in houston! tons of rhythm games to choose from, friendly staff, and a good selection of snacks and drinks to purchase. it's the only place in houston i can find some of my favorite games!

Went to check out this arcade and it was awesome, they have a huge selection of imported rhythm games and other interesting cabs! Will definitely be visiting whenever I'm in Houston again.

I went here a week or 2 ago, they offer a lot of stuff that cider doesn’t have and I really like the gachapon selection. It saves me a trip to San Antonio or Austin to play Rhythm Games!

Awesome new location!! the staff and regulars are all super nice. the game variety is super unique and something for everyone. Lots of rhythm games and fighter cabs straight from Japan but also some classics like DDR/ITG and street fighter 3. I go anytime I can and always have a blast. There's no place like it in Houston.

I haven't played Beatmania in a long time, tried driving down here to try stuff. It's a hole in the wall, and it's hard to hear a couple of the machines. But it's $20 to spend the evening with a bunch of great import rhythm games that you can't find anywhere else in Houston right now, and all the machines seemed to be clean and maintained. I'll have to get down here again.

Nice hole in the wall arcade. All games are Japanese and are all free to play with the admission fee. Good place to kill some time with a bit more involvement than regular arcades.

i came here 2 days ago (or so). At first, i felt skeptical of the place, as it doesn't look good from the outside, but i was surprised when i entered. the games were super fun, although most of them were claw machine-type. for each person, you pay $20, but afterwards you can play any game you want. it's just for fun so you dont win tickets or any of that, unless you play one of those luck-based games. i'm a huge fan of rythym games so you can be sure i had a lot of fun. also, the owner is really cute and friendly. there was, although, one issue with the parking situation. it was kind of complicated to get out, otherwise, coming here was not regretted. I reccommend this place to people  who like vocaloid, rhythm games, fighting games, or just discovering new hobbies.

This place on the outside looks like a specialty garage that works with Japanese imports on cars. But inside is where the real fun is at because it is subtlety an arcade full of Japanese arcade games, with a few classic American ones. The arcade may seem small, but they are not short on rhythm games. In fact, Okashi has more rhythm games than Dave and Busters, so if you're looking for games to dance and groove to, Okashi is a must. This is a tiny gem that shines bright in Houston, and most of the time, you won't get bored despite this place being small. Oh and they even sell e-amusement passes so chances are, you probably won't need to order one online.

I came here bc my kid wanted to try this. He didn't like it....but I DID!! It was fun. I had never even heard of this type of arcade but I would go again without my kid.

Amazing Japanese arcade if your into rhythm or fighting games. Lot of anime merch on sale as well. Your entry fee also is all day so if you can grab dinner and then come back if you havent gotten your fix yet.
Data cards and gloves are also for sale making your gaming experience even better.

Had an amazing experience. The taiko cabinet is in perfect condition and was recently updated to include new songs. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Houston!

Such a fun little arcade with lots of Japanese rhythm games! My favorite was the 2p zombie shooter. Will be back again!

Great little gem in Pearland! 15 $ all day pass. Store was clean and air conditioner was on point. We had a great time! No sticky buttons or gross seats. Staff is great. Fun products and snacks to purchase. You must take the kids this summer!

This place is fantastic - I came mostly to play DIVA but they have a large selection of other rhythm games. All of the cabinets seem to be in great condition. Staff is friendly, and $15 for all you can play is a steal. I will definitely be back!

This place was AMAZING!!!! Felt as if I instantly stepped into a portal to a Japan Arcade. The staff was absolutely fantastic and helpful. We will definitely return in the future.

I never leave reviews, but this place deserves a shoutout. Every fan of Japanese culture needs to come and check out these imported Japanese arcade games! They also have Japanese snacks and merchandise, and very friendly staff who will help you learn how to play (some of these games are still in Japanese!). This is a great place for a date, or to hang out with a group of friends. Had a lot of fun tonight, and I'm very excited to see them grow! Anyone who remembers and misses the old Planet Zero arcade -needs- to visit here!

This place is a newly-established hidden gem for Japan and arcade lovers alike. Great snacks and trinkets and around 20 or so arcade games from both US and Japan with some really unique and fun options! It was a great place for an inexpensive, fun date. Plan to be back and hope they consider adding more Japanese crane games as they get up and running!

We did wait ten minutes for someone to come to the front before we had to search for help. We get that though, it happens.

Kind of hard to hear a few of the games since others seem far louder. Initial D was harder to hear than midnight. Gundam was really quiet. Games on the left side with circle were almost silent. Along with one near the front on the right.

Next time you close be a little less pushy. We read that it said midnight on Google. Shutting the place down on us was a little much.
(Update they have since added the correct time on google)

Small but good. Some of the games are getting a little old but they are pretty well kept.

THEY HAVE MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM: EXTREME VS. 2 XBOOST!  highly recommended game for any gundam fans.

A small somewhat hidden arcade that I've frenquented since I learned about it.  In my heart this is a 5 star venue for what it offers as far as japanese games, snacks and merch.  They have fined tuned their layout over time and are intent on ensuring their games not only are well maintained but also updated and networked for use with IC cards.

The venue does get crowded on weekends and holidays but for regulars and serious gamers who stay till close, this is a non-issue given that those rushes are generally relegated to daylight hours.

If you are a rhythm game enthusiast or enjoy playing different types of games and looking to get out of the house this place is definitely worth the time and admission fee if you are in Houston.

A lot of the games don't give you an option to have the English translation, so we were hella lost on how to play some games and guessed a lot of the way. The games weren't as clean as we hoped either because when touching the games the area was sticky and oily. And my wife tried to use the restroom, but when she came out she said it smelt like a mens urinal. And I know about a lot of different Japanese games, but it seemed like they didn't have too much variety. But $20 and you can come back anytime during the day you paid for AND free game play sounds like a great deal to me!

Would you mind telling us which games are rundown? We don’t have many older games on the floor. 

Most of our games are translated to English so there may be a couple that could be confusing. But hey, we understand that sometimes new things can be a little confusing. Our staff is always more than happy to help you out. 

As for claw machines being included, we could not be in business if we did that. Please show us which arcades do offer unlimited claw machines for a flat rate, we would be curious to learn how they have a profitable business model at that point.

Lots of rundown games with little explanation for how to play. Not very good variety and the claw machines were not included in the $20 per person to play. Could maybe be worth $10 per person, but at current price it isn't fun and the games are not high enough quality to go. Too many better options elsewhere in the area.

You are making this seem like you brought up a suggestion when you were at the arcade. This is not the truth. Neither is your full review. 

You are upset because we don’t give away drinks for free or allow outside drinks inside. This is the rules of the business. This was also explained to you in the discord where you refused to stop pushing the matter.

Which it didn’t, you kept on pushing this issue more and more. You also didn’t like the fact that others explained to you why we do not offer free drinks or allow them in.

I came here while visiting Houston a couple times. Loved the arcade and the machines, however, the  Owner got extremely agitated towards me after I  made a suggestion and deleted my messages. Will not be coming here again due to narrow mindedness and childish behavior from the owner. Will not recommend at all especially if you have new ideas to bring.

So wanted to sort off by saying we are sorry that you had a negative experience.

If at any time that you feel unsafe, and that someone is staring at you or an old Asian guy you should please let someone at the counter know so we can take care of it as it is our number one goal to make everyone feel safe. 

As for us, being a rhythm game, heavy arcade that is due to us being a Japanese Arcade unfortunately, comparing us insider cade is like comparing apples and oranges two totally different things. We do understand that to people that might not know much about Japanese gaming. We are a little year compared to them not to mention also, we do not make our money off selling alcohol.

Hopefully you and your family Come back at some point with an open mind and enjoy our other games that aren’t just rhythm. 

Gotta say that this place is not worth another visit.

Some old Asian guy kept staring at my niece and I while we were trying to enjoy our time which gave me creep vibes.
