When you visit a consignment store, you have to remember that it is different from your mainstream furniture stores. This is the place where you find pre-owned, hidden treasures and other sundries. This is my all time favorite place to shop! I’ve purchased rugs, artwork, home accessories, and beautiful furniture here as I’ve been redecorating my home. It’s the absolute best place to find quality items that other people won’t have for a fraction of the cost you’d pay in a store. Elizabeth has helped me choose colors and styles that compliment my home. I’ve also sold my own items through B & B, and have been 100% satisfied with the service!

I have on more than one occasion shopped at B and B furniture consignment over the last few years. Each time I have gone in the store I have always walked out with great furniture, accessories or small knick knack items.  We bought a really nice leather sofa for my son for his first apartment and he still has it today! Thank you for always having great items to shop for!

Love David and his team - Barkley is the sweetest.  Always fun to see what new treasure I can find here.  Such a big show room with tons to shop for from wall art to sofas and everything in between.

We were surprised by the selection this place has. Everything is reasonably priced and in good condition. We bought a leather sofa from them a few years ago and kitchen table today. Highly recommend! The only downside is that Barkley the dog doesn’t work on Saturday!

The business is super friendly and helpful. They're not overbearing where you can't shop in peace, but when you have questions they're there to help. The shop also has some really cool pieces and they make homemade toffee in the back that tastes like heaven. To top it all off, they play really nice music and make everybody feel cared for. The sales person helped me put together a decorative ensemble to go with a side table in my dining room,  including a work of art,  buffet lamps,  and decorative glass set.   Very beautiful!

Huge consignment store of nice furniture and home decor. A little  too expensive for me but I still give 5 stars for their incredible customer service. My mother has since bought from them. The owner and his right hand woman are so kind and helpful. She really went above and beyond in helping me. She called a completely different store on my behalf and questioned about a couch I was interested in even though there was no monetary gain for her. I did buy a couch from B&B and absolutely love it! You can't beat genuine people!

We were furnishing an entire house, and David worked with us on every item, even throwing in many items for free.  I or my wife saw all the individual price tags, and we have itemized receipts showing  what we paid for each and what we were given for free.  David and Elizabeth were great to work with; they spent many hours with my wife putting together entire rooms.  We will continue to check out B & B first when we need things for the house.

They have a lot of nice furniture here, and the prices are reasonable.  We bought a twin bed headboard and frame.

Sorry that you had a poor experience. It is not our style to make our customers feel as if we are hounding them. We want you to feel comfortable shopping with us. As far as pricing is concerned, I hope that you were made aware that our prices are discounted every 3 weeks. We only accept high quality pieces that are in "like new" condition. On average our prices range from 25% to 30% off of retail prices. Sometimes even less! I hope that you will try us again. If you do, ask for David. I am the owner.

Lady was friendly but should just let customers shop on their own instead of trying to sell to them. Prices were way too high in my opinion.

I bought an antique dresser and as I was moving it out of the shop it literally fell apart because the tongue and grove glue was bad (I had fiddled with the drawers and everything before purchase and they worked fine but I hadn’t practiced moving it because that’s kind of silly). They said all sales were final but I could do in store credit so I ended up having to buy a dresser I didn’t really want for an extra $70 or I’d loose all my money. Super sweet family but that’s absolutely no way to do business.

I downsized homes and had a few extra furniture pieces.  I took them over to the store and discussed the consignment process with the owner.  They sold 75% of the pieces I brought in with 25% of the remainder by the time my contract was up.  I got paid for those, I was happy.

A week and a half prior to its expiration I came in and discussed the situation with the owner in-person.  He replied that we could verbally extend it for another 90 days with a slightly higher percentage going back to the shop.  Being of a more cautious mindset, I told him that I would return in two weeks to put the new arrangement on paper.  Two weeks went by and I called several times to find out if he was in -- he was mysteriously out whenever I called.  Including one time when I was parked in front of the store and saw his associate answer the phone for him.

I heard nothing back from them for the next 2 months.  When I returned, none of my remaining furniture was in the store.  I asked for a copy of their books to which I was told that I was not entitled to do so and that since there was no contract on file, I had surrendered the pieces and any revenue derived from their sale.  After that, they changed their story and said that they had been thrown away... something which I petitioned them to call me in advance of doing because I would have gladly taken them back.

Had I known about the lack of character and integrity in the business proprietors at that time, I would have simply taken my furniture back at the expiration of the original agreement and moved on.  I hope that others have a more pleasant experience.

Called, sent photos of items to sell and went by asking that someone respond to my email but never heard back. That was over a month ago. Saying no will not hurt my feelings just wish someone would respond back. That would be the proessional way to do business.

I was moving to London, so decided to consign over 80 items of my household goods to this store. .The total price for all these items marked by the store (at their sole discretion) were  approximately $14, 000. After selling  40 items, I was told that my share would be approximately 11percent of the total initial marked up prices for the 80 items or approximately 30% of the initial marked up prices for the sold items by the store.  I was told the remaining items will be disposed. Surprisingly, "Not a single item was sold at the initial price set by the store."  The store plan to "Dispose the rest of the unsold items".  At last after some back and forth calls (from overseas), I managed to move the remaining items.

It is hard for me to judge the characters of the individuals involved, but the numbers don't lie-"not a single item sold at the initial listed price by the very experienced store owner".

After reading some of the reviews for this store, I decided to post my review as I noticed a pattern of behavior that showed my experience was not unique on "Regretting to trust and deal with this store"- I leave this review simply to protect the potential future customers.

However, If you have to consign with this store, I would recommend the following:

1- Read the fully termed contract (vs. the one pager given to you) and ensure that you have it in writing that your items could not be sold at any price or "Disposed" at the sole discretion of the store without your written consent.

2. In comparing your other options to sell, don't believe the 50% figure you are told.

3- Make sure to arrange for removal of your items at the end of your contract to remove any incentives for the "no sale disposal".

4- Ask for the copies of checks of all items sold to ensure you get your Fair Share.

Hope you have a better experience in the future...

Horrible place!!!!! When I took my chandelier in to consign the lady promised me she would call before she donated my piece. Well I just called to check on it & she "says" she donated it. I'm very confident that she sold it but told me she donated it. Very shady place & mean lying owners. Avoid at ALL costs!

This was terrible. I consigned my table in April of 2014. I followed up with them a months later. They told me they GAVE MY TABLE AWAY! They never called me. They never got my approval to "give it away". I dont even trust that they "gave it away". I think it was sold and they kept my money.

Stay away for these people.
