We were recommended this store by a local coffee shop in November and decided to stopped by for a bit. But we had such a great time that we ended up spending half a day browsing through everything they had. The place has so much to offer—furniture, art, a huge collection of books, vinyl records, clothes, décor, ornaments, and all kinds of cool stuff. It’s super organized and clean, which made it easy to wander around and explore. The prices are really affordable, and we ended up finding some amazing art and décor pieces that we couldn’t pass up. There’s such a great variety here, so whether you’re looking for something specific or just browsing, you’re bound to find something fun or unique From what we gathered, the staff working there are local volunteers, and they were so friendly and fun to talk to. We also loved learning that this store supports local charities, which made shopping here feel even more meaningful. It’s the kind of place where you walk in looking for a quick stop and leave with great finds and a smile on your face. If you’re in Wimberley, definitely check it out—it’s such a hidden gem!

Great little place to stop by, had some nice books and some other finds I couldn’t buy at the time, but I’ll certainly visit when in town (and when it’s open)

I try to go there whenever I'm in Wimberley. I make quilts for kids in the foster care system in Central Texas and also for the babies in our local pregnancy center and I can almost always find sheets to use for the quilt backs at the Village Store at a reasonable price. Sometimes I even find sequins, ribbons, and other embellishments that I use to decorate Christmas stockings for Grandma's Stocking Guild which are also given to kids in the foster care system. Great "finds" at good prices and always helpful, friendly volunteers. I almost never leave without a book or two or three, also.
