Walking into this shop feels like being transported into an alternate universe. Most certainly the curators of this collection have very eclectic taste. It is trinket heaven if you don’t have much to spend and if you’re a collector with lots of money you’ll find things truly worth spending on. Everywhere you look (literally) is something captivating . I wish I had all the time in the world to look through all of their infinite treasures. This place is covered from top to bottom in lovingly curated antiques, I would say if you don’t fall in love with 10 things on your first glance you’re probably a real bore. As someone who is notoriously clumsy this shop is intimidating, they have truly made the most of the space and getting around can be a bit intimidating especially with the fragility of some of these items, a big backpack in the aisle could be risky if you have poor spatial awareness. Wear sturdy sneakers and be delicate, I’d also suggest you bring water and eat a meal before because if you don’t have a hard out you could spend hours looking through their endless selection of antiques large and small. If you’re in the mood for a museum trip this will do..

Wonderful store, love the overall aesthetic. I sold some stuff to Gary recently and the experience was really lovely and easy. He’s got great stuff for sale, and he’s very knowledgeable as well. Definitely worth stopping in, you’ll find some unexpected treasure for sure

A pure treasure. This is one of favorite places to go. They have so many unique oddities and items to look at. Every nook and crany has something to look at. Lots of medical antiquities such as skeletons and antique medical items. Lots of dolls. Jewelery. He also gets some lovely art and sculptures. Every time we go I learn something new. I wouldn't bring going children because it is a little cramped with lots of fragile items. Definitely worth a visit.

Walked in here for the first time today and the shop is absolutely lovely. Very clean and well ventilated and with lots and lots of antique and vintage pieces of top-of-the-line quality and uniqueness and a wide price range so there is something for everyone! Lots of Asian offerings here too with which I was VERY pleased. I spent hours in here and got to talking with the owner Glen and one of the staff Shelby. They answered all my questions, shared tons of information, and showed pieces off that I wouldn’t have caught. Both were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, helpful, and professional. Glen even offered discounts on some pieces which pleasantly surprised me! I’m not sure what the bad reviews are about because I had the greatest time and zero problems whatsoever with what everyone else mentioned. I will definitely be back and bringing other people with me!

Shop with Confidence from Gary at Cat's Cradle Antiques! He is an AWESOME owner. I was able to call, long-distance from Oregon... ask for help for a family, in Utah, that needed to liquidate items... Gary looked at lots of digital photos... then took the time to reply with referrals. Who gives THAT kind of CUSTOMER SERVICE?!?!? Gary at Cat's Cradle... that's who! Folks... I went into the shop today thinking it would be your typical Utah antique store. Boy, was I wrong. This place is amazing, with a plethora of things you just can't find anywhere else in Utah. If you are looking for amazing hard to find items, this is the place!! The owner is also very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He talked with me and my daughter for a good amount of time. Cudos to Cats Cradle for adding some excitement to Utah antiques!!
