2nd Ave Thrift Superstore

This is the best Thrift store around!! i’ll miss it if we ever have to move!!

We came in 5 minutes to closing. Checked out 10 minutes after and Dominic was courtesy, very helpful, and friendly. We had just come from a "Super Thrift Store" 20 minutes prior and the prices were better at 2A. We will be back. Special thanks to Dominic for making us feel not only welcomed, but like valued patrons.

This is my All time favorite Thrift store! i live in woodlawn village and it’s super close to go pop by in the evenings! This place always has a HUGE VARIETY of super nice things!! i never leave empty handed!

6 months ago the staff was very kind to me and helped me find a winter coat that I could afford. This made a world of difference to me. My winter was much more bearable as a result. Thanks so much. I have continued to shop here ever since.

I frequent the store often. It’s a pretty good thrift store! It’s well organized, and the clothes are sorted nicely. They also offer an array of household items linens, bedding, shoes! Come with an open mind! There’s a ton of treasures. I will say, over the last few months, the prices have gone up, which is a little disappointing, but I understand. They also offer discounts daily, usually around 33 to 50% off a certain ticket color. Happy shopping.

Always finding really nice clothing at reasonable prices. Love the little discount specials they run. All of the items have a colored price tag. Yellow, green, purple, orange, etc. Each day one color is marked 33% off and another is 50% off. As an example of their prices, today I purchased one pair of nice Eddie Bauer jeans and a polo, absolutely no issues/defects with either and in like new condition. With the 33% off it came to $16. No complaints regarding the staff. The man I’ve seen manage the self-checkout is always friendly and on top of things. Not staring at his phone/lounging around like I feel you typically see grocery store self checkout people do. & I’ve never had any issues with staff who are organizing/stocking things. I will say that they don’t ever greet me/ask if I need any assistance, but I’m fine with that. My personal preference is to be left alone, but someone else might consider that rude?

Very organized and clean—the best 2nd Ave thrift we’ve been to in the area. Great selection of clothes and a lot of really nice brands!

I’m addicted to this place! So fun, great merchandise, great prices, great staff, great management (aka) Ms. Angel! Always find new with tags and very gently used items! Have told many family and friends! Only thing that bothers me, children being left alone, while parents shop! I’m a mom, and grandmother, would hate to see something horrible happened to these kids! Your store does announce for parents not to leave them alone, but it is very concerning that it still happens! Maybe your staff should telling the parents also! Thank you

Hello, I really do like your store a lot your employees are very nice and i enjoy shopping in your store. But your new shopping carts don't make any since to me. I shop alone and when it comes time to leave your store with lots of bags it starts making me very nervous because my car is parked in the middle of your large lot. Making me think how am I going to do this. I can not carry all of the bags in one trip to my car. Sitting my bags outside on the curb is not a good option. Do you have a solution for me this is a big problem. Thanks for listening, Elaine McDonald

Visited for the first time today; was really impressed. It’s well-organized, huge, has a pretty wide selection. I came looking for flower pots, a picture frame, and long sleeve button ups for beach cover ups. Found wayyy more than that! Cute pillows, sandals, scarves, a gardening book, rubber seal jars, glass food containers, and a giant beverage dispenser. All of that to say allot more time than you think you need! Really sweet cashier chatted with me and carefully wrapped all the fragile items. Price on a few items seemed a little high compared to other thrift stores, but still competitive.
