The stuff is amazing! And the place to shop is also easy very convenient. Only parking is on the street. It's a bit hard to find parking. I wish they had open space for new moms or seniors to have space.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I consigned some pieces I was no longer wearing and used credit for new to me pieces! Look forward to consigning more. All the girls there were wonderful to work with, always quickly responsive!

The staff knows what they are doing.  They were very selective when accepting  clothing and shoes.  They sold right away.   The staff have an eye for styling and understand what sells.

I went in and OMG!! The selection, the selection, THE SELECTION!! There are so many options, even a second floor.
I found this black sleeveless dress and my heart was amazed. I tried it on and perfect fit. GO THERE! You won’t regret it.

Wonderful first time experience ordering from this shop! The Longchamp purse I bought truly was in “mint condition“! Shipping was quick! So glad to have this gem and will definitely be back!

Katie and Megan really prove they care about their store, their selection and their clients!  I have consigned multiple pieces here and it was by no means Louis Vuitton or Chanel (although you can get AMAZING pieces like that here).  Their consignment is fair and there are so many amazing finds like Golden Goose and Lululemon - follow them on IG and act fast!  Items do not stay for long.

I am obsessed with this store, no joke.  The ladies who work there are friendly, helpful, and truly know their stuff.  They also don't mind just letting you browse and aren't constantly up in your business, which is super relaxing.  It's obvious that the items that come in are carefully looked over for quality. One of the best consignment shops I've ever been in.

Very fun!! They have such a great selection of fashions.  They are pretty reasonable on their merchandise and their sale room upstairs rocks. Try it out. Make sure to put plenty of money in the meter outside because you have so much fun in there you lose track of time and you dont want to get a ticket after all that excitement.

Good place for name brand clothes and accessories for women. Prices are discounted more if the items have been around for a while, so pay attention to the price tag. It will have the date when it is discounted even more, so sometimes you can find some great deals!

I like this consignment shop, but one of the workers can be extremely rude and curt with some people. Other customers have mentioned it as well. I hope management addresses this.

Lots of name brand items at relatively moderate prices. Nothing for men but a lot for women.

Incredibly rude staff, both the young and the old. They look at your stuff as if it is beneath them; it’s not my fault they had to downsize their store and maybe don’t have space anymore. The items they resell are ridiculously high prices too. Sad!

I agree with some reviews they only cater to Caucasians cuz when I walked in they hesitated to greet me when I had consignment questions..

I have visited this store on several occasions. While I find the staff fairly nice and the store chic.  The clothing seems to cater to small sizes. As a curvy woman who wears a 10. I have difficulty finding anything in my size. Meanwhile, my BFF who is a size 2, has a variety to choose from.  There is a large designer bag selection, which requires everyone to have a large size wallet.

I used to love this place, but I don't think I'll be back. The selection is pretty well curated and the clothes in good condition, but the prices aren't always a bargain. The sales associates in the past have sometimes been less than attentive (not offering to take clothes to a dressing room until your arms are overflowing), but tolerable. However, on my last trip a woman who seemed like either the owner or manager was downright rude. I had placed my shopping bag and purse on the floor to look at something and she kicked them out of her way as she moved around the shop. It was clearly not an accidental stumble, she looked down at my things and shoved them aside with her foot. When she saw my surprised look, she offered no apology. Then she proceeded to push past my sister and I twice so she could restock the area in which we were browsing. She made comments each time to indicate that we were in her way. Then we we were upstairs she made a comment about the length of time we'd been in the store. We were not being loud, nor treating the merchandise badly. After my experience, I'll no longer be recommending Mint.

Top line: just avoid. New location, new(ish) rude owners. Ugly inventory.
Update - I went back to consign some items. Staff extremely patronizing as if the items I gave them weren’t good enough (I gave Philip Lim, Veronica Beard, etc) — she said we don’t take old J crew or Guess, I gave her no items from either brand. She scolded me like a school teacher for not dry cleaning items either… that can be very expensive, and how am I supposed to bring you clothes in bags if you don’t want them wrinkled? They used to steam for you too. Ridiculous experience. Don’t speak down to people who consign with you (esp since have been for YEARS) when you rely on US for your inventory.

The new store location is also very tight and small.

I have come to realize that the original store owner sold it to other women - the woman with the glasses who everyone else mentions in their negative reviews is one of the stores new(ish) owners. The gem that mint condition used to be, no longer is. She is so defensive and aggressive, and the items they sell are simply not attractive and cheap.

Buyer beware. I bought a dress from here for an event as an option - I asked for a receipt in case I didn’t wear it and needed to return and she said the printing machine was broken but would be on my account. I didn’t wear the dress and I came to return and was notified they don’t even accept returns. Only 50% consignment commission if they resell it. I feel totally defrauded. I offered to exchange it for a different dress half the price and just let me walk away with something I’m actually going to wear. They refused. Their handling of the situation is extremely disappointing. Won’t shop there again because of it.

I heard from locals that this place has a good reputation and good selection. However, I wouldn’t trust the word of mouth. It wasn’t what I expected and I suspect a lot of it was counterfeit.

Very inconsistent with their consignment policies.  The brunette owner lectured me about bringing in a J.Crew blazer that was over 2 years old, but she took several other pieces that were much older. All sold. Tons of other Tory Burch, J crew and  Lululemon that are 7 or 8 years old. I know my Tory Burch and Lululemon! Sweaters for sale have lots of pilling.

i consigned high end things to this store and they ridiculously under-priced things and did not communicate well.  A heavily embroidered beautiful, floral Stella McCartney jacket that had an original price of $11,000 at Neiman Marcus and I bought for $2500 and wore only a few times so it was in pristine condition, they priced at $200 and it was immediately snapped up.  I consigned a number of top quality things and got VERY LITTLE money.  Not only did they do a Bad Job of pricing, they are also Snooty, which I don't care for to begin with, and don't think thy're that good at their job to begin with.

Every time I have consigned here, I have had to follow up several times, for months, to get my check that should have a 7-10 day processing period (per the company's website).  Either this place is unethical or poorly managed but neither is acceptable.  I would not recommend consigning here - find somewhere else.

I’ve been patronizing this store for over 10 years. Saturday Nov 10, 2023 , I had a very bad encounter with the staff. I was treated so rudely for no reason. They greeted everyone except me. I was totally flabbergasted. One of the young ladies rudely looked at me in such a disgusting way. My heart was hurt to the level of disrespect that I received that day.  I will never go back to Mint Condition ever again, after that horrific experience. I’m praying that these young ladies learn to respect and  show kindness to all.

Poorly run in general. It took forever to get my check.  The  the unfriendly woman, who I think is the owner, in children’s section is why I gave this review. She couldn’t he bothered to respond to my enthusiasm. I put down what I was going to purchase and left. Won’t be going back.
There’s a consignment shop in Delray that’s pleasant.

I’m very disappointed because I offered a nearly brand new pair of Golden Goose Sneakers for sale, but I haven't received much for it, which I understand. However, today I was told that I need to wait until 8/24 to get the payment, and it's only 7/24, so that means waiting for the entire month. They mentioned that there's nothing they can do and the owner won't provide the check earlier. It's just a check! This whole situation has left me feeling disappointed, and I don't think I'll be selling here again. Not a good business experience for me.

NEVER again. Such rude employees. May I remind you that YOU are working at a used clothing store? Why do you all assume that you are better than others? These reviews show that clearly is NOT the case. You are paid bc you have us as customers. Do better!

Every time I enter this store I am completely ignored. The ladies working always greet other customers in the room, asking what they need or if they can get them a fitting room, but I’ve never been helped without asking (sometimes having to do it multiple times to get them to even look at me). It’s especially frustrating because this keeps me from wanting to purchase things (and have in the past!); I don’t want to give my money to a business who clearly doesn’t value me and treats me like I’m non-existent.

Walked in and there were 3 women at the front register working. There was an odd que of, older white women, that they were eager to help. They clearly took one look at me and decided I wasn’t worth their time. They didn’t offer to help me and got rude when I asked for help. Sad to see a business  operating like this but I’ll be sure to take my money (and recommendations for places to visit) elsewhere.

I walked in - the staff looked at me, didn’t greet me or acknowledge me the whole time I was there. But when a white woman walked in they greeted her warmly, asked what she was looking for, if they could help, etc. I immediately left. Clearly a racist establishment - typical Alexandria.

I can’t believe that I traveled three hours to check out this place and no one greeted me upon my arrival, never asked if I needed assistance. They continued their own conversations as I walked around. I waited a bit and then I had speak to them.  I had planned to purchase a few designer items but after being treated as if I wasn’t good enough to shop there, I decided to leave. People prejudge by the color of skin and what they may have on, but fail to recognize that there are people who work hard and will spend money on things they like and can actually afford to do so if treated with respect. My husband knew something was wrong when I came back with no purchases after telling him how excited I was to go see this “supposedly treasured gem”. 😏😏

I used to love this place and would always recommend those visiting Alexandria to stop by. I took 2 of my closest friends from out of town this past weekend and my experience was very unfortunate.  I am not sure if it was the owner or if it was a manager on duty however, I, a 40 year old woman and business exec, was told to make sure to be careful with my drink around the expensive merchandise.  My friend asked to view one of the more expensive items that was locked up, the woman told us to hold on, as it was clear she didn't think we could afford it, and she took her time continuing to fold clothes. It wasn't until it was clear that my friend planned on purchasing the $900 item did the woman's attitude change.  We did end up purchasing the item because it was a good deal however I do not plan on shopping there anymore.

Very unprofessional i was treated badly and harassed

Yesterday was the 4th time I had been in Mint Condition (MC), in casual walking sports gear shopping through my neighborhood. I just moved to Old Town from DC and was happy to find a cute store with potential. I found quality pieces which fit my size XS! However, 3 of the 4 times I've experienced really appalling customer service from a sales lady named Donna.

The first and only time to collected clothing to try in 1st floor dressing room Donna told me not to 1) fondle through the other clothes rack to look for additional items to bring to my dressing room as she just arranged them the clothing neatly already and I was messing it up; and 2) she interrupted me from enjoying my experience of trying clothes to place all the clothes back on the hangers. Mind you, the clothes I did not want were already hung for sales associates to return to the floor. I politely asked her why I needed to hang the clothes that I was purchasing back on the hanger if they were going to be taken off the hanger anyway. I also pointed out the clothes that I had hung for her to return to shelves. She assumed the worse from me and accused me very wrongly. This is inappropriate behavior.

Today I had returned to MC to consign and shop. In the store no more than 5 minutes, greeted by a sales associate. There was no one in line by the counter or any customers/sales associates that side of the room upon my arrival. As such, I was asked to work with the sales associate on the left front of the cashiers desk. A couple minutes I had signed to register for consignment, Donna, brought another customer to the register. I was  learning the process to consign and instructed to complete a waiver.

Donna asked me rudely to move from where I was standing just a few inches from the counter so she could pass to get the clip board to get clients to sign consignment registration form right side of me. The clip board was in-between Donna and I (my left, her right). She could of reached her arm to pick-up the clip board; and if she really needed to get something else, she could of walked around me and the other sales associate to get what she needed. I don't understand her rudeness. Who hires a place with who treats new and returning customers this way. Distasteful and unprofessional. I did not have the opportunity to make an opinion from shopping and consigning in the store due to rude customer service.

I advise all customers, beware of Donna. She is unequal in the way she treats customers. She can make a happy shopping day turn sour.
