This charming vintage shop is a true treasure for Charlottesville! Its uniqueness and prime downtown location make it a standout. Although it might be a bit tricky to locate, a quick Google search of the address will lead you to a bounty of fantastic finds. I adore discovering shirts here that perfectly complement my outfits for trips or special dates. My son has also stumbled upon some awesome items, like cool toys and stylish sunglasses. The staff is wonderful and always recognizes us, which adds to the lovely experience!

I’ve been travelling across the States for the past 4 or so weeks (from Australia), have visited numerous vintage clothing stores, and can honestly say that my best shopping experience was at Low’s. While many second hand stores these days are stuffed to the gills with fast fashion, Low stands out as a gem! The store stocks actual vintage clothing at excellent price points. The owner is friendly, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. My only wish is that the store was in my hometown so I could visit it regularly!

Always something fun to find here, from vintage clothing to records to memorabilia. And Low saved the day when I was shooting a film last year and had a last-minute wardrobe problem for my leading lady: They had the perfect dress -- and at a perfect price, too. A downtown gem!

Always something new to find! I've seen clothing, jewelry, shoes, decor, furniture, dresses, men's clothing, and old records here! They are always taking in new items so you never know what you might find when you visit! The main thing I look for in a shop where it's a grab-bag is cleanliness, friendliness of employees, organization, and assortment! Low has it all! I purchased today a pain of Fillippo Totti jeans 1080s. (pictured) A cute retro 70's one-piece that's groovy for skating with shorts or pants over! (Pictured) And a pair of perfectly worn in size 8 Hi-tec hiking shoes from the 80's as well! (Pictured) The shoes there are phenomenal and they have plenty of unique 30s-60s shoes for dancing, outings, and outdoors! Go check them out! You might find your next favorite piece!

This is an excellent little shop and the owner absolutely knows her stuff. Her prices are very fair - she runs below what she could get on etsy/ebay prices AND you're not paying shipping. i've been dealing in vintage for almost 25 years, I'm a professional buyer and a textile historian and she absolutely KNOWS her stuff. It's rare I walk through a shop and don't find at least half the store poorly priced (under or over) or badly identified. She nailed every piece, everything was SIZED correctly and even fibers and era ID'd? Bonus: she was kind and friendly to boot. I absolutely will be shopping there again, bought a gorgeous 40s skirt that was very reasonably priced. If you know your stuff, this place is an absolute GEM.
Thank you, Wendy! It was a true pleasure meeting you and we hope to see you again!

Residing in the lower area of the alley this thrift store has an excellent assortment of second hand and vintage finds. Most pieces had extremely well described tags which helped give a sense of history and meaning. Both the mens and womens sections had some amazing pieces and I found myself exiting with a classic Stetson hat which happened to fit me.
