Such a Wonderful shop & experience. I spent over an hour sampling fragrances & oils. I was a bit overwhelmed with the exceptional selection of so many fragrances. Truly hard to choose a favorite one or two or three😊. It was so nice to be able to actually smell so many fragrances that I've seen on social media and to try so many more I've never heard of. An added plus to the experience is the perfume oil wall. Soooo many to choose from. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They took their time to hear what I liked & gave several suggestions. I found my favorite fragrances on the perfume wall. Very nice sensual scents. I couldn't narrow it down so ended up with 3 bottles. Very nice for layering or by themselves. This was my first experience shopping here but definitely will not be my last. Will definitely come back with a couple of my friends for a fun outing.

This place is the best fragrance spot I've been to on the east coast, it's A fragrance mecca and you will definitely be shopping for Hours, best spot to shop if you're trying to expand your cologne collection and open and further dive into newer and more diverse scent profiles! Khan El-Khalili probably has one of the most extensive collections of Ouds and Oud based fragrances I have come across in the U.S..  There are literally hundreds of other reasons to shop here but I am all about the fragrances and accessories I used to pick up while on frequent trips to Dubai and East Africa.  This is an amazing gem of a cultural resource.

The staff is always very helpful,  the variety of fragrances  and the prices are amazing!

We came to get oil for birthday presents. The oils were an interesting blend of fragrances. The staff was patient as people smelled many different fragrances. They had so many items to choose from. The store catered to Muslims and stocked perfume/cologne, jewelry, hookah items, clothing and more.

I loved it. Every time I go to Virginia I like to go buy a lot of very nice things and very rich oil perfumes for the aroma. The girl named Dina is very kind and an attitude that makes you want to return excellent service.

For over 10 years I have purchased Quran’s, adan clocks, abayas, hijabs, incense, trays and tea sets from Khan El-Khalili‘s and I am always thrilled to vis their Falls Church store. The staff and customer service is family friendly. In addition to shopping there, I take my adan clock back every 2-3 years (with my battery’s) for the staff to replace them. Their merchandise is authentic and well displayed. Visit the store … you will be happy with the treasures you find.

I went to just check out the store, but end up buying so many things. There was thousands of items, from gift, perfume, decor, culture, islamic, cloths and much more. Loved it!

Customer service is amazing. I was visiting from orlando. And the girl helped me get a perfume for my dad. She was extremely helpful and gave me advices on which one to buy. The place has so many great things to buy!! I could furnish my entire house from it. It is amazing. The owner or manager was nice too and very welcoming. I would recommend having quraan instead of the music playing because they have some quran pictures on the walls.

Vast variety of cologne, perfumes, and house sprays to start with.  You need at least an hour to get the scents you want.  Overall great place, staff are very friendly.

TDLR; Worth a visit, not sure there’s anything worth buying though.

Most if not all household and kitchen items felt and looked cheap. The quality really isn’t there - I wouldn’t buy it if I was back home so obviously I wouldn’t buy it for a marked up price here. Kitschy is a good way to describe most items.

I went in looking for furniture (but they’re sold out), coffee and tea cups and little things but came out empty handed. It’s fun to just go poke around and the staff were nice. I also noticed they had a large selection of hookahs & accessories. But since it’s not my thing I didn’t pay too close attention.

Wow… absolutely amazing experience with Khan Khalil — if you enjoy having your orders cancelled for no reason and being treated rudely when you try to get help.

Placed TWO orders, both cancelled because my shipping address didn’t match my billing address (pretty common these days, right?). Tried to explain — big mistake. The attitude I got from their team was next level rude and unprofessional.

Safe to say I’ll never be ordering from here again. Plenty of other businesses out there who actually value customers and know how to communicate without the attitude.

Avoid Khan Khalil unless you like wasting your time.

I had the worst experience here. After being a faithful customer spending at least $100 a week here on hookah flavors and coal, my sister accidentally grabbed the wrong flavor last night and I called immediately telling them and they told me I can exchange it, just for me to come and the refuse to exchange or refund my money. I have been here almost two year with them and no loyalty to their customer. Stay away if you’re loyal customer looking for loyalty in return

I’m a huge perfume connoisseur so I was excited to hear about this place went there walked in wasn’t actually that busy. There were a few people at the counter. I guess getting some consultation but I had to ask for help and one lady just after I waited in line to get help. I asked her where a certain perfume was, and she just pointed in the direction of it and moved on with her business. I find that extremely customer service oriented. It’s also very chaotic. There’s no clear way to differentiate women’s perfume for men’s, and given that most of the I believe language on the bottles is potentially Arabic or definitely some sort of Middle Eastern language. I would think that the people who work here would have more consciousness to be available to open, but they were not for the most part. It was rude. I walked out within 15 minutes of being in a place because I didn’t know what to buy, and usually when I’m buying perfume at any other location, like Macys or I don’t know any place there are people available to help you so I wasn’t used to that sort of disorganized way and quite frankly rude way so I won’t be going back. I’m not even interested and it’s even questionable whether the perfume is authentic anyway.  I actually relate the pride and concern that Business is half of their customers is a way that they take pride in the value of their product and given the way these workers and owners of whomever was in there working took care of their customers I’m assumed that the product is is not legitimate so I do not want to be bothered with this place. I won’t be going back.

I bought a lot of things and a few hookahs. The hookah was broken, so I called to exchange it, and they said to bring it, but I live so far away. The hookah is brand new in the box. She said the glass smelled like tobacco. When the glass you only put water in it. The lady in the front was rude, saying you're lucky I exchanged the glass for you, and she only exchanged it; now it's not a match. The glass is purple, and the rest is green.
Insulting customer service and nasty, rude people. Never again, khan Al Khalil only Arabica

Terrible customer service. The owner is very disrespectful including the manager. The employee and the sign they have put in the store say they will exchange the item within 2 weeks, but they not only denied to accept the exchange, they also tried to argue. The owner said I don’t have time to talk to you. The employee told me to bring the merchandise and we will exchange it, but when I came back with the merchandise they refused.They really need to work on their customer service and abide by what they say. I’ll never buy from here again. Very disappointed with by owner and the rude manager.

Bought a silver Azan clock on January 22nd and the packaging showed the clock has a space for batteries and a plug which was great because we wanted to hang it without using the wire. Came home and found that the clock has a European plug and did not have a place to put batteries. Came back today to exchange it and they were not happy about that. I think the only reason why we got the exchange was because of the pleasant man in the hat (might be the owner) who told the other guys at the register to exchange it. But when we got to them they were being difficult and said “someone would have told you it doesn’t allow for batteries when you bought it” - the one who said that is the one who sold it to us and did not tell us that. I said it clearly shows on the packaging that the silver azan clock allows for batteries (and pointed to it) and they said it doesn’t matter because someone would have told us that. 🙄

We got the black azan clock which is in the same exact packaging box as the silver and opened it to check to make sure it takes batteries. This one turned out to be $10 cheaper and they made us buy $10 worth of stuff instead of just giving us the money back. Poor business ethics and poor attitude. Should have just bought one off of Amazon.

- 20 min on the drive back to Maryland we checked the box and they packed the silver one that we originally bought and now we have to go back to get the correct one. I called them and they cut me off and said “yes we know”- they had our number and could have called when they realized their mistake. I recommend going to a smaller shop that doesn’t have such stringent return/exchange policies and has honest customer service.
