Not the biggest one around but definitely one of my favorites. The people are so friendly and always welcome you with a smile on my face.

I recently visited Local Thrift and was thrilled with my find. I purchased a beautiful solid wood side table for just $30—an absolute steal for such great quality. The piece is sturdy and well-made. The store itself was well-organized and affordably priced, with a wide variety of furniture, home goods, and more.

The staff were friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience even better. They even helped me put the table into my car. If you’re looking for unique, affordable treasures, I highly recommend stopping by. I’ll definitely be returning.

One of the things I appreciate most is the staff’s knowledge. Whenever I have a question, they’re always able to provide useful insights or help me with research. It’s great to shop at a store where everyone works hard, from cleaning and organizing inventory to attending to customers with care.

This thrift store is awesome! I was able to get six ties for six bucks. Everything is very well organized and the staff are super helpful. If you're looking for furniture, books, clothes, or just a cool treasure hunt, this is the place for you!

We were in a thrifty mood in Falls Church and stumbled upon this cute thrift store! We found a lot of great finds with reasonable prices. I got 3 CDs for $1, DVDs for $1, and a Nike sweater for $6. Lots of furniture and furnishings. The parking lot doesn't have many stalls, but there's parking in the back. Happy Journeys ✌️

This store has a lot great treasures and I ending up browsing around for hours. They provide a variety of decor, furniture, and anything you can think of.

This is a new thrifting spot for me and I’m so glad! There’s a wonderful selection and the store is very spacious. There’s also free parking in the lot, which is a huge plus.

Some Karens have given this place one star because a worker didn’t smile at them but it’s a huge shop with like two people working and that’s why the prices are so low. The woman and the man working yesterday were busy but when I checked out they were kind (let us keep items behind the counter while we kept shopping, etc) and were open to bargaining on a few pieces. Really chill vibe.

Hands down one of the best thrift stores in the area. Prices are incredible, furniture selection is amazing, and it’s an overall fun and quirky thrift shop to browse through.

This thrift shop is amazing and  Mario, the thrift wizard, unleashed his magic powers to help my hubby and I uncover some great furniture pieces without emptying our wallets. Picture a magical treasure cove where you can dig up gems. I was able to snag a Henry Links dresser at an unbelievable value and some beautiful vases. This place is so fantastic, I'm seriously considering setting up camp here every week just to keep up with their new inventory—kidding! But seriously if you are looking to furnish your new apartment or add something new be sure to come here!

Great place! Lots of other thrift stores have been upping their prices while giving not so great quality items. This places prices fairly and has every item you could imagine. Definitely check them out!

Best thrift shop in the area for value and customer service!  Mario is amazing, knowledgeable and helpful and the owner Ninfa was patient and knowledgeable as well. So happy this store  is open in this area.  Will definitely shop here again!

What a hidden gem. Prices are decent and it has a great mom and pop feel. There’s no need to go elsewhere for kitchenware as their selection is very big and extensive.

They are amazing place to donate to or to buy from. They are so cooperative and helpful. BofA the manager and Mariam are my favorite people in this place. Furthermore, the place is more like antique and stylish furniture pieces. Thank you guys!!

I was truly impressed with the quality of the items here, the organization of the merchandise, and the lively atmosphere of the employees and customers. People are happy to shop here and it shows. The employees are very helpful and do their best to take care of their clientele. It’s one of my new favorite spots in the area; I could spend hours here!

This is a really nice place with great stuff, however they know what they have. The nicer things are priced much like an antique store but there are still deals to be found here as well. Don't forget to go in the basement where there is a ton of furniture and other random houseware items.

This place is great! It's a little more upscale than a typical Goodwill or Salvation Army, which is reflected in the pricing, but there are still some great deals and a really nice selection across two floors. It's a good place to check out if you're looking for high quality houseware on a budget.

This is one of my favorite places to thrift as it’s so close and I typically come out with some good finds. As others have said, the prices in recent months have started to increase quite a bit- including pricing books higher than original retail price. Still love this place but hope they don’t keep increasing prices so that it continues to be a go-to.

Pricing is wildly inconsistent. There are good deals to be found, but there are other items that are priced unreasonably high and sit for months. Since they get all their stuff for free I don't understand why they wouldn't want to move as much inventory as possible. It's not Ebay it's a thrift store

This store is a gem. The staff is helpful and kind, the selection is impressive, and the prices are fair. What more could you want? Special shout out to Mario. He's been volunteering there for over 20 years and is the epitome of service with a smile. I'll be back, and you should try it for yourself.

I bought this barrister book case on Saturday and I set to pick it up with other furniture on Monday. I don’t know how it happened. No sign was out on it? It fell off? Someone removed it? They sold it on Sunday. I was very verbal and I’m embarrassed about that but long story short they more than made up for it. Yes I am extremely sad because I had been looking for one for a while now but life goes on. The staff are kind and Ninfa is the epitome of hardworking and helpful and kind. She’s truly a gem at this store. The owner is unbelievably kind and said they donate to 3 charities. You just want to help this store to thrive. That said, please don’t haggle. These items are more than fair in price and it’s going for a good cause.  Support your local businesses.

I really enjoy this thrift store; it's clean with a robust selection of merchandise and a friendly staff. The china and art sections are always fun to hunt through. I've been going to this thrift for a few years now and have been noticing a upward shift in pricing. There are still some great finds, but I get the impression pricing is based on how much an item is selling for online. As someone who values second hand items, it's unfortunate to come across something I can actually buy for cheaper new. I hope they'll find a happy medium with their new pricing strategy, because the prices were so great a year ago.

Paid a visit today. Pretty standard thrift shop. I was looking for more clothing selections but maybe it's just not their niche. Great options for furniture and home goods. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Will come again.

Great thrift store with a varied selection of clothes, furniture, books and CDs. A pair of MCM Lane Acclaim side tables for $120/per table.

I really do love coming to this store they have a variety of different things. Some over priced things and some well priced. However, this morning left a sour taste. I believe it was the owner who accused me of taking a lady’s items.

Back story:
I get there around 10:30am, there is hardly anyone inside. I make a right to see the candles etc, then make a loop around to the main floor furniture. As I’m walking down the hall, there are furniture pieces to my left and right. I see these four gold framed dried pressed flowers on a dresser propped up diagonally —clearly staged. Again, no one is around. I liked them and put them in my basket. I continue on my rounds downstairs then back up. I’m ready to check out and there is no one at the register which is completely fine, I don’t mind at all. In the meantime I’m deciding on my items : a glass beaded lid, a small poster and the four frames. This lady in a black sunflower/floral dress customer approaches me as I’m holding the poster up. She mistakes me for one of the employees even though I’m wearing all black and hat —wayyyy different from what the two other employees and owner were wearing (Already an ick)

I decided to walk away and loop around back to the main floor furniture to look at my items. I decide to actually leave the four frames on a desk laying flat. As I’m walking back, passed the register since there is still no one there…I can hear the owner(?) go up to the lady in the dress who is still there and to what I think is checking her out. The owner (?) yells out to me and comes up to me saying I took the lady items that were there to which I shake my head and show her my basket. She points and is about to grab the glass lid and says that’s it but I say it’s not and that I grabbed it from the vase section as I back up because she getting close to me. She did apologize because at that same moment the two employees found what the lady was looking for which were the gold framed dry pressed flowers. I walked back to the register a little mad at the situation and just wanting to check out and get out. I hear the lady in the black sunflower dress driving a Tesla (I was on the phone with my BF after to talk about what happened so I saw her get in her car) say there were  right there at the register which was not true at all because 1. They were not at the register and 2. She did not have them in her possession and more than likely left them…so my assumption is she thought she still had claim on the item because she might have saw it first but passed up on it.
It just doesn’t work that way. It wouldn’t fly if I had saw her cups first and passed on it, left the area but then went up to the owner and said they were mine. They gave a couple dollars off her purchase and additional 10% off too.

*****I want to note that the employees are super nice! I’ve seen three different ones and they have been so helpful and kind. However the people that go here are questionable. ********

—Last week there was this grown mid-40s woman and I think her elderly mother making fun of a little girl probably around 7-8years old having manners and saying “Excuse me” as she tried to squeeze on by. I heard them in a very mocking tone repeat “excuse me excuse me excuse me”

—A time before that, this guy in his late 50s was giving one of the employee a hard time asking for the receipt even though the employee was going to give it to him

I’m giving this four stars because it’s not entirely the stores fault however to accuse me like that, about to reach and grab the item (which was not even the item) from me was uncalled for. Again they did apologize but that sour taste is still there.

Unfriendly staff, aisles are not wheelchair or stroller friendly. Some prices are very high.

Occasionally, I’ll find nice things here, but they suffer from lack of organization and cleanliness. I would recommend they hire a couple more people or even volunteers who they give discounted merchandise to and layout the store more similar to how Unique Thrift Shop organizes their items. Everything is crowded and in piles at the moment. The people who work there are kind, though.

Usually love this thrift store because the selection is good, but prices are outrageously high. It also feels so disrespectful when the workers make you wait while they use Google Lens in front of you to price items. Anyone who knows antiques knows you CAN’T trust google lens for pricing - just because someone is selling it for $50 does NOT mean people are buying it for that price. No wonder everything is so high.

You will sometimes find excellent clothes and accessories, and on occasion, some great shoes.  Unfortunately, most of the young and inexperienced volunteers aren't customer-oriented like the friendly FT, paid employees.

This place was very well maintained and clean, however I did not like the attitude of the lady that was working there. I asked her a question and she ignored me until I asked her three times. I do not appreciate people being racist. She also kept looking at me and following me all over like if I were going to steal something. She did not however do the same thing to other white people circling the store. Super rude demeanor towards me simply for being Latina. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK.

I came in here once, a while ago and it’s Ok for what it is. It’s mostly furniture, it’s kinda cramped and difficult to navigate and they didn’t really have much if anything that caught my interest.
I honestly miss when this place used to be a costume/Party store. They used the space a lot better than the current Tennant.

They always have good stuff but they have become OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced. Individual silverware pieces are $3, individual plates are $10…I could be shopping new for those prices. I’d recommend Salvation Army over here. Honestly such a shame. Especially since you know they get all of this for free…

I was really disappointed with my experience at this thrift store. Despite the prices clearly marked on the items, the staff changed the prices at checkout to whatever they decided. It felt completely unprofessional and unfair. I found a a lamp that was reasonably priced on the shelf, but when I got to the register, they suddenly claimed the price was higher and wouldn’t honor the original tag. This isn’t how a business should operate, especially when it’s supposed to be affordable. I don’t bay the other staff I found and certainly won’t be coming back.

Cashier clerk tried to upcharge paperback books and then doubled price of salt n pepper shake set. Shady business behavior. The stuff inside is fine although it has distinct thrift store smell.

I am a GOOD customer. I spend a lot of money here. I bought a paint sent of student grade paints. The watercolors have gone bad. They smell like something died and is on fire. Took back the same day and they won’t help me bc the manager isn’t here and I have to come back tomorrow. I will change this review if they give me my money back. If not they have lost a loyal customer.

I was excited to visit this shop, Falls Church definitely needed a shop like this. Unfortunately, after finally visiting all the way from Fredericksburg Virginia, I was highly disappointed. I had been in the store for at least 15 minutes when someone decided to finally greet me with a hello. (So my arrival wasn't a welcoming one) I believe it might have been the shop owner or manager who finally said hello. When I entered the shop and she just had a mean look on her face. I've managed a shop before, and greeting customers is ideal it makes them feel at ease and appreciated. When I walked up to the cashier area to pay, I wasn't acknowledged. Instead, the two women began to assist another customer they had been speaking friendly with. She had a lot of items, and I only had two. At no point was I told, we will be right with you. I felt uncomfortable and not like a valued customer. So I graciously put the items back and walked out. A small purchase is still a purchase, and this shop lost a customer for good. I've gotten better customer service at many Goodwill locations. I'm extremely disappointed! yet at the same time relieved I did not spend my money here. The quality of the items is not the best, and come items are priced too high when they look like junk. As a 10-plus year thrift shopper, I know quality, and this place doesn't have it.

These folks update rules whenever they like. I’ve been coming for several months or more and never had an issue using a credit card or gift card until today. All of a sudden out of the blue today you cannot use a credit or gift card unless the purchase is 10.00.

There is no sign at the front of the register that says a minimum purchase is required.

These folks are nice but this is a BUSINESS….not a thrift store.

This little store has some interesting stuff.  Now I know where to go when I need an outlet for a laptop or pc.  Now I know wher to go for laptop or pc outlets.
Unfortunaltely, the owner doesn't like it when Spanish people don't speak Spanish.  I told her it was my choice and she gave me a lecture of how we shouldn't forget where we come from.  I stayed calm and told her that it's not her business to criticize me.
I walked out after paying  then realized that she didn't give me a receipt so i went back and asked for it.  She printed it out then slammed it on the counter.  That's when I was firm and told her that I quite educated in Spanish literature and I shouldn't be forced to speak Spanish.
This is blatantly racist!  She is no better than white people demanding others to only speak English.  She even accused me of pretending to be white, "you think you are white!"  Amazingly, she had the courage to yelI l that at me in front of a white lady.  This is oronic because Spain is in Europe and so when you speak the language, one is actually pretneding to be white.
Is this what its coming to?  You go to a store and you are insulted for not speaking the language the owner speaks.
...and we think Trump is a jerk.
Guess i will have to find a plance to find outlets.
