This store never fails me. We have bought many items, from cabinets, light fixtures, to brand new front door & dishwasher. We have even donated things as we do our projects. If you gave not been here, you are missing out. When I was there yesterday, they had some beautiful couches, too bad I have no where to go with them. And don't get me started on the homewear section, plates, platters, cookwear, even china. Just Go...now.

For a thrift store, this Restore is well kept! The lady who was tending the store that day, 9/10/21  was also nice and even asked us if we need help finding anything. Kudos to this Restore in Manassas and the staff!

I just wanted to thank Laura an employee there. I live by Washington DC and the customer service around here is terrible. I was so surprised when Laura offered to look for a cabinet for me over the phone and even measured for me. This would never happen closer to the city. Very impressed, she was very helpful and actually was working!   Thank you again!

Very tidy store and affordable if you have a tight budget. You can find living room furniture in like new condition for under $100. Certainly a better deal than paying $399+ for a tiny couch at so called Discount furniture stores!

I really don't understand why certain other reviewers would rate a place like this one ⭐ for furniture prices. Even a yard sale you'd be lucky to find furniture for under $100 unless the seller is desperate to get rid of it.

Although currently this Restore is only open Fri - Sun, every weekend there is something new and interesting to be found. This time I found the powder room counter and basin I've been looking for.  This store is well organized, clean, and well lit. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very COVID friendly.

Great deals. I always get ideas when I go here. I find furniture, wood and other things to repurpose. I enjoy finding tools that need a new home as well.

Very clean and organized. Bright environment. Good place to check out for some furniture or home improvemeny supplies. Also wonder why people can review something that is volunteer driven to help others in need. Thats all the more deserving for a 5 star rating.

This is THEE MOST organized Restore location I've been to, and I've been to seven Restores in VA and MD. It makes for a great time looking for home improvement tools & items!

Good selection of items. New items almost daily. Some prices set to high but others much more reasonable. Depends which employee does the original pricing? Items that don't sell quickly reduced in price over time. Large selection of furniture and lighting fixtures. Some tools and antiques.

This place is awesome for the do-it-yourselfer. Lots of cool stuff reasonably priced and you might find something you don't even know you need it. Lots of cool vintage furniture. The staff is super helpful and nice.

Love this place! There is always something that strikes my interest even if I don't need it. I love seeing the antique furniture and envisioning what I can do with it or where I can display it.
I can always find parts for our 1957 Cape Cod. We are frequent visitors.

Great selection of furniture. Some of rhe prices are a bit high but most were very reasonable. Great kitchen section as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good bargain.

I have always loved the Restore! I've been a customer for at least 13 years, starting when it was several storage containers in the back of a church parking lot, then the old hardware store building across from the Social Security administration office (I remember being so excited when they 'expanded to using the bottom floor), to the beautiful spacious store today. I basically 'self semi-remodeled' my entire townhouse with materials from the Restore! From the floors - hardwood, laminate, vinyl & lots of beautiful tile; the paints for walls, ceilings, & some floor; light fixtures from chandeliers, bathroom multiple light bars to simple single bulb ceiling globe fixtures, outside lighting fixtures, fluorescent multibulb ceiling fixtures ; & appliances - stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers! Now in the new store I've got my eyes on all the gorgeous furniture such as the sectionals from places like Pottery Barn I could never afford to buy new directly! To sum it up, the Restore is a dangerous place for me to walk into - dangerous to my wallet because of all the beautiful things I want to buy! I've NEVER been disappointed by anything I've purchased from them & the staff has always been so friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. If you're looking to update anything around your home or business - the Restore is THE PLACE TO GO!!!!

Habitat for Humanity in Manassas has a good location and they generally have very nice furniture items which are gently used. Can't beat the prices on used furniture. Should encourage all furniture stores to make this their first stop if they're looking for value. Way to go habitat!

This new location is 4x the size of the previous location in Old Town Manassas, but they can now stock much more furniture, fixtures, tools, appliances, construction materials and supplies.  Friendly staff and volunteers always ready to help.  Always found very reasonable prices for both new and used items.  Consider this a first stop before buying the same ite.s at retail at the large home centers.

I go into this store occasionally for odds and ends. It's not what I find in the store that I give this 5 stars but the people that run the store. The folks you find in this store are helpful and genuinely friendly. Always a good experience when I go there.

Above and beyond customer service at this center. They have a great selection and they are super helpful with loading. Everyone had genuine smiles and we're so happy to help out. Couldn't be happier with our experience here.

A friend who has a junk business recommended this store to us when we were doing a bit of remodeling, and needed a few odds and ends.  Wow, were we surprised to find all that we did.  We've redone one of our floors in beautiful donated bamboo flooring, and we've created the dressing room/closet that was always meant to be in our master suite with the Rubbermaid closet organization items found there.  We've found tools that will help us tile and re-floor other rooms in the house, and we are now watching a brand new rug that we'd like.

You'd expect this store to be a mess of misplaced, unorganized supplies.  This location is actually very organized, very clean, very easy to shop.  We have taken to going in at least once a week, checking out if there is any nice furniture or new tools, new flooring, etc.  Much like a thrift store, but many new supplies donated from builders for decorating and remodeling.  It's been a wonderful find, and the people who staff it really care that they provide service and a nice shopping experience.

Large space with a lot of good finds available. Place is organized and laid out very well. Unfortunately their valuation of items can be all over the place. Sometimes it's to your benefit ("oh what a steal!") other times it pushes an item way out of your price range ("there's no way it's worth that much!"). Definitely worth a trip still.

A friend told me about this store.  I had seen it before when it was at another location but had never gone in.  Boy, was I pleasantly surprised at all the stuff they had for sale.  I decided to donate a buffet table that I no longer had a need for.  They had a truck come and pick it up, which really surprised me since I had tried to donate it to a different charity a couple years ago.  If you get the chance to go here and look, you might find something you could use.

Great assortment of home items with fairly decent prices.  If your looking for newer home renovation items, you may be slightly disappointed but don't let that stop you from visiting the store.

Nice place. But sometimes their prices are really unreasonable. You might as well buy the item new and get warranty with it. They should be a little more mindful of their pricing for certain items. Considering they're getting it form free

Great habitat. They have a cleaner set up and display than most. Was able get a great gift for my wife while shopping around. They have a significant amount of granite so if your doing a bathroom remodel check them out

Many items are retail priced.  Sometimes you can find good deals.

Not very big not much there. Honestly mostly just junk. Was hoping to get some windows for a green house diy but got there after some construction guys clean anything affordable out and the rest expensive for the condition they were in. If you want some rusty saws or stuff from the 80s that looks like they haven’t worked or taken care of in years this is your place!

Oh if Google would allow percentages! Then I could rate the experience a 3.3-3.5. Even better if I could rate in Categories.  Then my scoring would be a better representation of all I encountered.  Alas...

Shopping here is the localized version of a scavenger hunt. Items that are good are really good, even with fair,  reasonable prices. But then there are those moments that will make you gasp when you see the price. Those are definitely the occasions to back away and hold your wallet tightly.
Interestingly, there were items priced above the original selling price when purchased new. Seeing that made me gladly put such items down. Then there are the happy moments of finding items that hold history for which you might hold a certain appreciation. Or even locating those replacement items that you never thought you would find. Both illustrated examples were my experience. The joy of the moment of nostalgia and the thrill of the find made for a good day. But then it got pushed up in the percentages to a  great day because of the pleasantness of the staff (most,  not all) even up to the manager. It was good to see that most worked prodigiously and were helpful beyond my expectations. For all of that, I left with a smile and will gladly return in hopes of more finds and opportunity to smile.

Its clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, however I find their items to be price pretty high. I went there looking for a microwave and the price was comparable to what I had priced at walmart and target. Needless to say I left and purchased a new one. The washers (not too many dryers in stock) priced very well for the brands and styles. In the end its always worth a trip!

Selection is always changing so check it out regularly.  The prices are a bit steep for a thrift store. Especially name brand items. Normally those they put a print out from the internet showing retail and price at around 75% of that. This is used, donated goods and they want 75% of retail/internet prices. ... If the item stays for a while it gets marked down, sometimes which can make the prices better. Staff is super friendly.

This is a large store and everything is well organized. They have a lot of lovely furniture. The staff is pleasant. I bought to utility light fixtures from them and one was broken and didn't work, the other was missing a piece and therefore couldn't work. They don't take returns, so they should do a little better quality control here.

It's neat, organized, everything has clear pricing. However, they are very proud of their stuff......  I understand the idea is to make money, but 500 bucks for an old junky piano?? Beat up stoves just barely in good enough condition not to go to the recycler and they are asking 400??  A lot of their stuff was marked more than what it was new......

There prices are all over the place, but mostly too high for the stuff I would buy. Actual examples from the last time I was there large dining table $35, rusty toolbox $75, stick of molding $15.

Habitat Restore can be hit or miss. Lately it has been a BIG miss. The store is well organized. Prices are fair. Selection is low. Hours are not convenient.

The selection was large but so were the prices. They charged just as much if not more for the same items as if they were new. Really disappointed especially since we took a long drive to get there.

This is the highest priced "thrift type" store in Northern Virginia, the staff is fairly friendly but they really need to get their pricing more reasonable. Expect anything of good quality to be about twice what you would have liked to pay...and some prices higher than the retail price of the same items at a regular store. Very hard to do any negotiating as they would rather let the item sit on the shelf forever than take less than the marked super high prices.

The Manassas store frequently over prices items, have found items three times the cost at Lowes or Home Depot.  The store is slow to lower prices as donations age on the floor. The Manassas Store also do not hold or allow you to purchase over the phone - even if it's for just a few hours.   The store has no flexibility in decision making or customer support.   I understand its a business, but the store is truly not customer orientated.

Unless you live in a smoke free animal free dust free house and have an hour or 2 for the special driver to go over your items with white gloves, incuding taking brand new things out of their boxes, i wouldnt recommend using them nor buying from them. Find another charity that is less picky and wouldn't mind dusting to get antique items!! Driver has is a legend in his own mind!

"Overpriced" that most things are near or over retail value of it new. It's much cheaper in most cases to go to Lowes and get it new. Not to mention that the staff seem to just not care and I'm not talking about the volunteers.

I spend around $266 dollars during my visit and that purchase included this oval table purchased today  12/03/2021 and was told they would hold furniture for two days. I asked them if it’ll be any problem having my brother pick up the table furniture as I did not own a vehicle that could carry the load. The manager told me it wouldn’t be a problem to just text him the receipt for pickup. I then requested the the table be removed from the sales floor so that no damages, random objects, or unauthorized purchase happens to the table. I was told that it wouldn’t be a problem and they would remove it from the sales floor and placed in the back away from customers. I left. Later my brother arrived at the store to pick up the furniture. He said they misplaced it and was unsure where the the table was but found it in the back office. They had already wrapped the glass part of the table and they were the ones to load in inside the vehicle. I didn’t find out till later when the table arrived that there was a missing piece from the table. It’s a small 2.5x1.5 rectangular wooden piece that goes between the leg and the glass top. It’s very noticeable that it isn’t there. Because it’s missing it causes the table to be unstable and risk for damage. I called them and ask that they search for the missing part and it took them about 4mins on the call to come back and tell me the checked the area where the table originally sat on the sales floor, the back holding area, and the back side door where they loaded the area. That was fast. You checked everywhere? How well could you have looked? They’re lying. I then asked them if the had security on site and if they had cameras in the building to do a review and if they could check the footage. I waited to talk to the manager who identified himself and the man I spoke to earlier in the store and said they didn’t make any mistake and they aren’t responsible for furniture after it’s left the store and implied I lost or overlooked the piece. I did not. You all just lost a customer. I’m so disappointed that you don’t care to do the right thing. How hard is it for you to check? It’s so unbelievably rude to not assist a customer and not care about the service you’re providing. Perhaps it’s a race thing… perhaps not. Either way the store did not care to retrace and verify what happened to the table that was left in their possession.I’m giving a bad review because you don’t know how to take responsibility for your actions and those of your employees, you lack customer support, you can’t even be bothered to review your cameras if you know it’ll help your customer, and you all obviously lack integrity and ethics, and respect for your job and your customers. I’m making an edit because I forgot the most important part of a review… my recommendation. I do not recommend you buy from this company or at least the don’t buy furniture or leave items at the store… please check your tally before confirming your purchase, and check that your items aren’t damaged or missing.

My husband and I shopped at Restore today 11/16/21.in Manassas VA.   It was highly priced. I was Looking for a bulletin board. I found One that was in bad condition for $25.  My husband said is that a good price. Not sure let’s Google staples.  We googled Staples same one for $20 and brand new condition.  Some one at the store needs a reality check.

Ladies BEWARE!! My teen daughter and I were working this morning doing volunteer work. My daughter has done volunteer work here for a over 1 year and 4 months. I've been doing volunteer work here since October 2020. Upon being there for only 45 minutes or so, the Operations Director (Marcos) burst through the back doors where we were working and starting yelling at us that we needed to leave. I thought he was kidding because who does this? He was very upset saying that we needed to leave and did not give any explanation until the other store manager asked him why and asked was going on. He said we "did not properly sign up ahead of time on their website". We explained to him that we did sign in on the volunteer log up at the front desk. That wasn't good enough. He continued attacking at us, and my daughter and I left the back area and into the store. I confronted him by letting him know that was completely inappropriate for coming back there and attacking at us like that. Especially with my 14 year old there and going through it as well. I told him there is proper way of addressing things as adults, and that he could have handled it better then the way that he did. He did not like being told he was wrong and he yelled at my daughter and I to get out of "his store'. Turns out, there was another volunteer there that was working that did not schedule ahead of time on the website. He didn't act the same way to that person at all, and didn't even know about it until it was addressed to him as discrimination. The same discrimination and harassment that I went through when I had been an employee of this store and had to quit because of harassment, threatening, and a hostile work environment from the other store manager named Toby Mallow. Nobody above management did anything to help me including the board of directors, and the overhead of Habitat for Humanity. I can't volunteer, or shop in this store without the continued harassment and threatening and toxic environment. This was all caused by Toby Mallow as this is what he does in his continued harassment and threatening to me.

As mentioned in previous posts, this store is well organized and clean, but it would be interesting to know how many items actually go unsold. The furniture, in particular,  seems very overpriced. The prices are similar to retail for brand new furniture, not used furniture. Do not expect any furniture bargains at this Restore.

What can I say... This place is way overpriced for the goods they receive as donations. No. I'm not expecting things to be unprofitably cheap, but for example, they priced a small basket of donated silk greenery at 94 dollars. The prices gave me reason for pause and giggles because I just couldn't comprehend their pricing strategy. A used non descript plastic pot was more expensive than at the hardware store. Habitat folks, the name of the game is low price fast-turnover, get stuff in, sell stuff out.
