This place is AWESOME!!!! I went in to "quickly" check it out and lost 2 hours of time! 🤣 If you see this review, GO!! Very unique, one of a kind pieces and place!
Hi Tiffany, Thank you for the positive review, I'm so glad you liked the store! I remember you coming in, I almost had a heart attack because you're the spitting image of my neighbor Gary's neice Stephanie! Stephanie used to come in all the time and would always pull pranks on us that would have us laughing for days, like gluing down every sewing machine in the store, or replacing every single CD in our collection with the Dude Where's My Car? soundtrack. She died in a car accident six years ago and we all miss her very much :( Or maybe she moved to Michigan, Gary has two neices and one of them moved to Michigan and the other one was driving her motorcycle high on PCP and crashed into a tree and I can never remember which was which. The good one died, I remember that much. The one that's still alive is a real B-I-T....you get where this is going! Anyway, next time you come into the store remind us you gave us a positive review, and I'll give you a complete set of California Raisens trading cards (including the naughty card that was never officially released) totally free as a thank you! -Keith

Fun place. Lots to look through and can find some truly unique items.
Hi Daniel, I'm glad you liked the store, and I sure do appreciate the positive review! Come back anytime, and if you use the code "The Truth Is Out There", I'll even throw in a 5% discount! You might have to listen to me ramble about aliens a bit though, hope you're up for that! I hope you have a wonderful day! -Keith

This Saturday, I was unfortunately kicked out of the store for no apparent reason. I encountered rudeness and slurs, which I found to be highly unprofessional. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this store at all. I encourage others to think carefully before choosing to visit this establishment.
Hi Bean Bean, Everything you said is absolutely correct. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe how I acted that day, and from the bottom of my heart I would like to say I'm sorry. I was having an awful day when you came in, which is not an excuse, I just want you to know that what you experienced is not typical of how we treat our customers at Cherie's, and if you would like to come give us another chance, you certainly won't be treated that way again. If you don't want to give us a chance to make it up to you, I absolutely understand, but if you can find it in your heart to give us another shot, I'd like to offer you the chance to have a sort of a "Rage Room" experience in our Christmas room. Basically, we give you a baseball bat, close the door, and put five minutes on the clock, and you can go nuts! Please remind me about this review and let me know it's you if you decide to take us up on the offer, I want to be clear that we're not offering this experience to just anyone! Thanks, Keith

My friends and I recently ventured into what we anticipated would be a delightful excursion to an antique store in search of a birthday present for a dear friend. Regrettably, our experience was marred by an unexpected and unwarranted expulsion from the premises. As we perused the carefully curated collection, our enthusiasm for discovering something unique was palpable. However, we were met with a dismissive attitude from the staff, who seemingly judged us solely on our youth, labeling us as “punk ass teenagers.” This baseless stereotype not only undermined our intentions but also highlighted a troubling lack of inclusivity. It is disheartening to encounter such a narrow-minded approach in a space that should celebrate diversity and the appreciation of history. Our brief visit transformed from one of potential joy to an uncomfortable experience marked by exclusion. I strongly recommend that the establishment reconsider its treatment of patrons, regardless of age, to foster a more welcoming atmosphere. Until then, I cannot endorse this establishment.
Hi Nur Bert, First of all, let me apologize for taking so long to reply to this. I don't check `google quite as often as I probably should, so I'm just seeing your review now. I remember the incident you're referring to quite well, and honestly I'm glad you commented this, because truthfully I've been feeling just awful ever since it happened, and I'm glad for an opportunity to be able to speak to you again. When you and your friends came in, you caught me on a really bad day; I had just come back from a double colonoscopy and my beloved hamster (Gus) had died the night before, so I was not feeling well. None of that is an excuse for how I acted, I just want to make it clear that my behavior was a reflection on me and what I was going through in that moment, not anything that you or your friends did. I was incredibly rude and unfair to you, and I'm honestly ashamed of how I acted. From the bottom of my heart, I'd like to say I'm sorry. If you would ever like to come back to Cherie's, you're welcome back any time, and I'll even gift you a free lamp! Also, I would love to invite you to spend Thanksgiving with me and my family. Maybe we can sit down and hash things out, and you can teach this old fart a thing or two! All the best, Keith

Smells like poo inside.
Hi Tso, I'm so sorry you had a bad experience at our store! I have a pet chinchilla named Gus who we used to let roam free in the store; he's very affectionite and most of our customers loved him, but he did have some accidents around the store from time to time, which caused a bit of an odor problem. Gus bit a customer recently, everything is fine, they were able to reattach the finger, but as part of the settlement we agreed to keep him at home going forward. Anyways, long story short, I think the store smells great now! If you want to come give it a whiff, we'd love to have you come by any time! And if you let us know it's you, we'll even give you a free lamp for your trouble! Hope to see you soon! -Keith
