Amazing little store! You can find good quality clothes, options of shoes and variety of bags and scarfs! Well organized to find what you are looking for. Good fitting rooms and great staff! I also bring my clothes that I don’t use to be sold here and when I make some money, I generally buy something new that I like. For bringing your clothes you need to see which season they are taking and make an appointment because they are booked way in advance! Enjoy your searching experience!

Terry's Place is the very best place in the Culpeper/Madison/Orange area to consign or buy consignment. The store is always neat and well organized. I like that they have men's, women's and children's clothing. It's the only consignment store in the area that accepts clothing for the whole family. We always find something we like and always sell a very high percentage of what we drop off. Great place.

I enjoy shopping here! The clothes are good quality and well organized --with a very large children's section. It is divided by age and gender so it is easy just to walk in and quickly check the specifics. The prices are similar to what you would find in Goodwill.
One of my favorite things is the Christian atmosphere I feel when I enter the store. Just like this morning when I went, there was a encouraging quote from the Bible on a little  chalkboard easel.

Great selection of clothes for really reasonable prices. I double-check everything myself, sometimes something has a small stain that was missed etc. But worth the effort for the prices. I find all kinds of great things for me and the kids

I've been consigning with Terry's for many years and it has ALWAYS been a positive experience! Terry is a lovely person and she runs a great shop. I often find clothes there I like and am also able to give her clothes I no longer want - and make some money! It's a win/win and, again, Terry is so nice to work with. I recommend her and her shop HIGHLY!

Always friendly with their customers.  The owner even took time out to pray over me when I was having a tough day.  Wish this happen at all stores. Thank you for a great shopping experience.

This is reflected in her shop, Terry's Place. It is a great success due to all that she, and her staff, put into meeting the objectives put forth to ensure this goal is met. Her product is topnotch, and priced to sell. The many items with designer labels, or with store tags still attached, are frequently found. If you wish to consign items at Terry's Place, the rules are fair - current style, clean, good condition. Just as you would want to find items you may wish to purchase. Terry's Place is great for good quality used clothing and accessories at a good price. I've never seen a stained or ripped item there. Every Jan or Feb and July they have a season ending clearance sale, 50% off everything. The only tiny gripe I have is the lighting in the dressing rooms can be a little dim but it's still way better than the harsh light in some places.

Quality used clothes at awesome prices.  Some clothes still have the tags on them that were purchased elsewhere them donated.  But you can't get an employee to help you on the floor if you have questions.  They only have cashiers.

I have to agree with the last review. Stay away from this place. Owner comes across as being nice but can turn on you very quickly. Humiliated me in front of a customer.

Don't trust this place with your belongings! I wasn't able to leave zero stars like I wanted to.
I dropped off several items and was told later they didn't know where they went. Next I was told they were old and stained so they donated all them all. Which wasn't true with most items still having tags on them. Next, I spoke to the employee who supposedly said this and she denied saying any of such thing and doesn't remember even seeing the items come through the system or ever logged in. Next I was told a few items were mistakenly put on someone's else account and the rest was donated. How many times has this happen before?  The story changed over and over and they never took accountability for their actions! Instead, coming up with serval different scenarios that could of happen. Try coming up with a better and  more honest approach.

I would give this business 0 stars if I was able to. The owner and her employees do not wear masks or practice social distancing and don't require any of their customers to do so. I have reported this business to the Virginia DOH.

This business is not following CDC guidelines or recommendations for COVID. No one working at this business was wearing a mask nor was social distancing being enforced.

I would give this business NO stars if possible. They are not following the mask mandate or CDC guidelines. Owner was not wearing a mask, there is no guard at the register, and all of her customers were maskless and none were practicing social distancing. I have reported this business.

Extremely disappointed with the level of customer service provided when we entered the store. We walked in at 3:30 and were immediately informed that the store closed at 4p. There was no “welcome to Terry’s Place” but rather a brash comment that we needed to be quick with our shopping. We started to gather clothes and decided that an establishment that would rather disrespect their customers did not need our business. Save yourself the hassle of rude employees and the garbage bags full of clothes strewn around the store and head to Wal-Mart or the Dollar Store for a more inviting customer service experience.

Purchased some things Sunday. Two pants did not fit.  There are no signs stating no refunds or exchanges. I bring the pants back with receipt and tags and was told no returns or exchanges.  She has no signs stating that fact nor is it on the receipt.  I will never go back to a store that at least wont even let you exchange with receipt. Bad
