went here for the first time today and found some awesome things! i love that they sell local art and support local artists. the person who rang me up was so welcoming and warm, will definitely be back!!

They had a great selection of clothes and merchandise for an awesome price! I found good sample piece for my wardrobe and a handmade top

Super fun thrift store, little pricier, but totally worth it.

Love love LOVE this place! So much good stuff in so many sizes! I got SO MUCH! The staff are awesome and so nice! Full range of prices and different vendors even! If you are in Richmond and like thrifting, this has to be on your list of places!

This place is full of treasures. You just need to go there and take a look. People are very friendly and nice.  Lots of cool clothes records and more.
I'll be back for sure.

This place is a must go to for thrifting the prices are very affordable and they test out the electronics before they put them out always new items and the post regularly on social media what they have.

Love love love this thrift store. Go here all the time. Good prices, can have good finds, and carries a lot of different stuff from records, clothing obviously, art, books, and other stuff like that. Such a cute place too outside and inside. Staff is also very nice but in my experience not like over the top nice they're more chill than anything which is nice :)

One of my favourite thrift stores in the River City. They carry a wide variety, and the prices are shockingly low for the quality of goods they bring in. I've visited three days in a row before, and they had so much new stuff every time. The frequent stock changes keep it fresh, and combined with the variety, you never quite know what you'll find there.

Very eclectic! A lot of unique and interesting items, art, etc. Make sure you bring a mask as they are still adamant that everyone wears one inside the store.

Extremely afforadable, great selections! Love their vintage jackets and I often find treasures in their electronics/misc crafting supplies section. Also, they support local artists and sell tons of cool artisan fashion and original artworks! Staff are super knowledgeable on vintage goods and they price things very reasonably. Truly serves our community! I always stop here on my thrift runs and I never leave empty handed!

Great spot with tons of affordable clothes, furniture, and other miscellaneous used goods.  The staff there is super nice and helpful as well, I always leave with something I love.  Also I'm super into how they spotlight and sell local artists work!

We were driving back home to WV and ran across this place. A very cozy little place with all kinds of knickknacks.  My wife and I went to leave after purchasing something, saw something by the door, bought that.. went to walk out again and found something else we wanted.  It's a little treasure hunt this place.

This place always has the COOLEST things!! I saw something I wanted on their instagram and was able to prepay for it which is dope cause their stuff can go quick! The owners are super awesome and helpful and nice and beautiful :)

1 of my favorite Downtown RVA spots, they have awesome variety to choose from. Very reasonable prices, always something new to please the eye....great for shopping 🛍 therapy on a budget. Very friendly & helpful staff makes for fun shopping experience

We had to wait in a short line, but they had great stuff and the clerk was super friendly and helpful. This is the only place I have been recently that sprays down the credit card machine before each customer.

As with any thrift store, or second hand store, the stock and merchandise vary greatly.  The location, people, and setup are awesome.
It's like coming into a friends house and being able to pick through their junk to find your jewel.
The last time I was here (I can barely ever come in without finding something I want), I found a killer pair of leg warmers which I am sporting right now since I'm freezing in my drafty house.
It's definitely worth it to spend some time picking through this place.

If you're into unique home furnishings, I would highly recommend this place. Vintage pieces,  for a very affordable price. If you're looking to stage a home or new home owner this is a place to go!

Awesome little thrift store with some great finds and deals. The managers are very nice and will work to make customers happy. They also make sure their stuff works before they sell it.

I am an artist with work for sale at their new spot on Broad. Not only have I had success selling multiple of my first pieces EVER SOLD, I’ve also been shouted out and promoted by their wonderful team via Instagram. For an art space to share your work as a first time selling artist, especially a place as established in the RVA community as Circle is, was and still is an absolute blessing from the gods. Whether you’re visiting the area, strolling through the Jackson Ward Art’s District (next block over: Lift coffee shop is one of my favorites as well), looking for original pieces and to help support the dreams of RVA classic starving artists like myself, or you’re a thrift junkie myself looking for some of the best deals in town with new & exciting donations extremely frequently... well then, my friend.... If you meet one or more of those criteria then Circle is the spot for you!!! Definitely give this Richmond staple a visit, please support local and please donate if you can!!!! Can’t speak any higher of this place and of the humans behind the organization.

This is the one. Prices can not be beat by even yard sales and the selection they manage to continuously keep maintained with the most superb items variety of items astonishes me. The intimacy of the staff gives the place a nice, very homley vibe.

My roommate sells crafts here, and we've bought almost everything in the house from this cozy welcoming spot

A lot of everything! Spacious and tastefully cluttered. The employee I conversed with was very well spoken and kind, answered all my questions and helped me with what I needed. Highly recommend! I will be returning here soon.

A magical sanitorum ran by a bunch of happy go lucky rva hipster wizards. Anytime I need something- they have It! Need a bike light? Dude spinned around and had one in his hand. Need a step ladder? Boom! Sitting right next to me. Needed good hiking boots? Bam! Water resistant, heavy duty, barely worn. I'm not saying they're wizards, but they just might be sorcerors. 6 out of 5 stars.

Friendly staff, interesting work by local artists, and frequent deals should definitely grab your attention.

An electric collection and ever changing artist on the wall. Get something cool, support the cause, a must top on any first Friday or whenever I have the pleasure of being present on my favorite block of broad.

This place got some nice clothes. I don't look at the other items ever but the clothes have got good prices.

Some of the nicest staff in Richmond, everyone feels super kind and genuine. The selection and prices of their books is awesome, and they have a good selection of photos and postcards. I like to get magazines here, though they go out quick. The clothes seems on the more expensive end for a thrift, but it's on par with most other Richmond locations. They have a lot of things from local artists, like buttons and earrings, which is lovely to see, and they are very inclusive.

Wish it had better parking, was pretty busy but had an interesting selection for the size of the store.

The store is kinda messy and doesn't have things  organized or displayed particularly well. It has some hidden treasures but you have to dig through things to find them

Maybe I caught it in a down day, but circle didn't really offer much to make it unique. Mediocre selection of moderately interesting junk that didn't really tell any stories.

The Circle Thrift was Okay. The 2 young adult men had no wrapping paper for glass wear and didn't care how things were out in bag . Ruined 2 book covers and chipped 1 cut glass piece. No receipt, but I'm sure they over charged me !!

Nicholas, we share your frustration. In 2019 when we moved into 400 West Broad St, we signed a lease stating that the commercial tenant (Circle Thrift) is entitled to two parking spots behind the building. The note you are referring to, which was left on your car in 2019, politely stated this. At no point did we attempt to claim three spots. In addition to this, people who were not tenants of the building were using the spots as well. We contacted the building management and when we realized that there had been an administrative error in which multiple parties were promised the same parking spots, we settled for just one parking spot for our staff to share, and we have occupied only that spot since then. 

I used to live above circle thrift. When they moved into the storefront below my apartment, I received a really nasty note on my car threatening to have it towed because they reserved all 3 spots behind the building through the leasing company. I thought this was pretty odd because I had been issued a parking pass to park in those exact spots, so I called the leasing company and the building manager to clarify. Neither had heard of any such agreement and  specified that the lot behind the building was for the use of upstairs tenants, not circle thrift. I think it speaks volumes to the owner’s character. I personally try to spend my money with good people, so I’ll never shop at circle thrift and neither should you.
