About This Store

The Greene House Shops antique mall in Ruckersville, Virginia offers a unique shopping experience for antique enthusiasts. This well-organized store is "jammed packed" with a "wealth of antiques" and a "variety of antiques" ranging from furniture to glassware to kitchen items and more.

Reviewers rave about the store's "really cool stuff" and "great prices," noting they were able to find an "antique book, vintage Sears electrical household book, 57 ladies high heel wooden shoe frame, [and a] vintage '42 farm journal magazine." The inventory has "anything from furniture down to glassware to kitchen stuff to jewelry too. Everything can think of."

Beyond the impressive selection, reviewers highlight the friendly and personable staff. One customer fondly recalls "the curly haired Irishman" who was "a delight to chat with," while another long-time shopper praises the "unique way of making people feel special" displayed by the owner and the "incredible diversity of inventory." The reviewer goes on to say, "I'd go in just to spend some time with these two men. Time well spent!"

The store also offers an attached restaurant called Jack's Shop, which one customer describes as a place they "have never had a bad meal or shop experience." Another reviewer simply states, "Don't miss out on a delicious meal."

Very neat antique shop. Place is jammed packed. Variety of antiques. Not a real big store but it's jammed pack. Bought antique book, vintage sears electrical household book, 57 ladies high heel wooden shoe frame, vintage '42 farm journal magazine. But there's anything from furniture down to glassware to kitchen stuff to jewelry too. Everything can think of.

I met the owner three decades ago, I feel quite lucky I did. He has a unique way of making people feel special and that shows in his choice of dealers for his space and Jack's Shop, the restaurant he curated under his antique mall. I know the combination of an Irish lad and a Greene County country gentleman is a strange combination, but what a great combo it is. They have an incredible diversity of inventory but I'd go in just to spend some time with these two men. Time well spent!
