If I Could give 0 stars I would. I won an item from an auction. There was an option to pick up the item and I live nearby so I chose that option when I paid the invoice. The invoice and the emails gave pickup dates but no address to pick it up. It also said I would be getting an email notifying me of the pickup address. I never received such email. I will add none of their emails went to my spam. I got all of them in my inbox, just none of them had the pickup address or specific times. When I emailed and inquired about why I wasn't getting the information I was met with a rude reply, quote "not our problem" in addition to more. Nothing a professional company should say to a customer. I will never deal with this company again

Post auction emails with all the pickup details are guaranteed to send to every buyer after every auction. This has been the same since our opening in 2015 without fail. On the email sent June 15th at 12:08am (immediately after this auction ended) there was a link to a Signup Genius form. This is where buyers can find the address and select a time to pickup (all pickups are by appointment). Addresses are posted on Signup Forms only to protect the identity of our clients and the security of our sales. Before each auction, every advertisement also informs any potential buyer of the pickup times and dates, as they are determined long before an auction is available for bidding. Regardless of all of that, we would have also been happy to have given you the address over the phone, via text or email. No request was made until after the pickup was closed, and the estate was cleared out. In order to pickup during the pre-advertised pickup times, a buyer not finding the address would need to ask before those times ended. Instead, you called us derogatory names, liars, demanded free shipping, then bashed us on the internet (after we offered to ship the item to you thus solving the problem). The transaction was canceled and money was refunded, even though it is not and cannot be the obligation of any auction house to make sure the buyer arrives to pickup on time. Most auction houses consider an item forfeit after a pickup window has closed. We would never do that and have always offered shipping as an alternative to picking up. Once an item is sold at any auction, the buyer is the new owner and it is their responsibility to reach out and inform the auction house of their intentions. This seems to be the only issue from this sale, as the 90 other buyers picked up onsite and on time, or requested shipping. While anyone is free to take words and generate a quote out of context, Anyone reading this response is welcome to request the full transcript of our conversation by emailing info -at- fairauctionco.com. We will not be bullied.
