My new Local Comic Shop in WA! (In Cleveland OH I love Carol & John’s) Not only is it HUGE, but everyone there is so wonderful and helpful. As the former board game expert at a geek bar that had hundreds of games, I’m SO in love with all of the alphabetized shelves of board games that I got 3 & will be back for many more. The 12F & 18M kiddos both picked out a stack of comics they love. Plus I spotted a few comic collectibles to get my Dad for Christmas, and a few kids books to get for the next baby shower I have to go to. Will be back soon and often, so I’m happy they had a membership option. Bonus Points: full sized Silver Surfer Extra Bonus Points: Gabi is awesome Fuzzy Bonus Points: cute doggo too Edit to add a year later! 4/10/15 Roomie/Auntie recently got shoulder upgrades & instead of worrying at the nearby hospital, I went to comfy Gabi’s & went through old stacks of Star Trek to find roomie ones she’d love, plus some Lower Decks & new Gail Simone for me, and a card game she can play one handed! Extra Victory points to everyone there for being adorable & helpful!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! 💕♿️ We've been there several times & are always warmly welcomed! I use a cane & wheelchair, so I've never gone to the 2nd floor/loft area. But on our last trip, a nice employee informed us that there was an elevator available, and we had no idea! That's when I started noticing all the effort they put into including EVERYONE. If they notice me looking high up on an upper shelf, they happily offer to help me. Another bonus is that the employees don't overshadow you, which helps with my anxiety. They also recently added a "quiet spot" & will give out ear plugs to those who need them, handy for those game nights/events! There's seats/couches, perfect for those who can't stand long. I've also noticed an employee who uses a manual wheelchair like me, which helps with making the store more accessible first hand. They have a huge collection of geeky goodness. I find myself wanting to stop by every time we're in town!! Go check it out!💕✨️

If you have been to as many games and comic shops as I have you approach each new one with the expectation of walking in, saying "this is cute" or just "neat" and leaving. This place blew me away with selection, size and the epitome of customer service. It's to bad I live in Seattle or this would be my new FLGS.

Absolute 10/10 nerd haven. The store is incredible in every way. The owner is a very outstanding and philanthropic person. Lots of space is provided for people to come play and socialize.

New favorite board game spot! Staff were super friendly and super helpful. This is definitely worth the journey from Seattle.

You don't have to be a part of the LGBT+ to come to the store, but if you are, THIS is a very safe place. We decided to check out Olympic Cards and Comics from a referral ~ the manager of Elegant Octopus in Tacoma. He said we would be safe there, we took his word for it and made the trip. It was definitely worth the hour drive! Aside from the safe and secure feeling you get from walking in the store, they offer SO MUCH! If you're into magic, d&d, anime, comics, board games, Warhammer, busts & figures ... I mean, they have it all!!! If you want to play a game, just head on upstairs to their open floor. You can always find someone up there to play!

Unique store with knowledgeable, welcoming employees who explore your interests and have what you want. Amazing selection for all interests. They also welcome the community to use their upstairs area for tournaments and games.

Just went the Spring Art Market! So many talented artists and cute things! Such a great welcoming vibe!
