I love this place. Beats and Bohos is a cozy little gem with a killer vinyl selection and a great vibe. I always enjoy stopping in to browse. There’s a mix of classics, hidden gems, and well-kept records at super fair prices. I’ve probably picked up 25 LPs here, and every one has played flawlessly.

The staff is always laid-back and friendly, and I usually end up hanging out longer than planned just to enjoy whatever great album they’ve got spinning (shoutout to Steely Dan). The whole store has a cool, relaxed vintage feel that makes it easy to lose track of time. If you’re into vinyl or just love a good crate-dig, this place is a must.

They have an amazing and well-curated selection of vinyl, always reasonably priced. I don’t really shop boutique vintage clothing but it’s so fun just to look around the shop and chat with the proprietors about pieces that have walked in and out of the door. Love love love this place and the people who run it.

Great store, love that they require masks. Interesting selection of vinyl, clothing, and some home goods. Well worth a visit!

Love this record shop. BJ is one of the nicest guys around and the records curated here are small but mighty. You will always find something worth bringing home to spin. Top three shops in Seattle which speaks volumes considering their size.

Beautiful selection of vintage home goods and clothing. Measurements are written on the price tags, which makes deciding what is worth trying on much easier. All of the pieces are in great condition and just beautiful to look through, even if you don't intend to buy (though it is hard to leave empty-handed). The record selection is delightful as well. Looking forward to my next visit.

I love this Beats & Bohos! I always leave here with an amazing vintage piece, and they have vintage IN MY SIZE (modern 10/12) which can be hard to find! Prices are fair, and the vibe is very low key. Great music always.

Not the biggest record store around, but I always walk out of here with a bagful of gems. They also have an interesting collection of vintage clothing, furniture, art, and other stuff. The couple who run it are delightful people too. There used to be lots of cool shops like this around town, but most of them are long gone. I hope these guys are here forever!

Great store. Good selection of used vinyl and the guy manning the store was nice enough to let me play a record before buying it due to physical defects found then discounted the record based on what we found. Would go back again!

I love this little record and vintage shop on Phinney! Always fun to browse the clothes and vinyl selection. I have found some great pieces here, as well as vinyl. If I am in the area I always make sure to stop in since you never know what you will find@l!

Super awesome store. I look at the records while my other half shops around looking at the vintage clothes. Has 100s of vinyl of all genres at reasonable prices.

Most cared for vintage, each piece is well researched and reasonably priced, like you're buying from a friend. The store owners are great; passionate about their small business, music, and fashion. It's the perfect place for the vintage lover, or for special occasions shopping. The dresses are fabulous, the men's section looks handsome as well.

Do you believe in unicorns? Well, as rare and impossible as a unicorn, is a record store where the clerks are as nice as they are knowledgeable. Beats and Bohos is such a unicorn. They have an amazing record collection, considering how small the section is- good prices on some fantastic vinyl.

But wait, there is more: vintage clothing. vintage house wares. vintage tschokies. vintage furniture. Monthly music and art events. And did I mention the folks who run the place. Nice as pie. No attitude about your record choices, no too-cool-for-school snarls at your ugly Christmas sweater worn without irony. Just good ol' fashion mid-western politeness mixed with a smidge of Seattle swagger and a dose of California cool.

In short: soon to be legendary. Already awesome. Go check it out.

~ yes for theft ofc 
~ we only have one room 
~ keeps order for people waiting
~ prevents people walking in on each other 
~ matching measurements for more delicate/non stretchy vintage textiles
~ quality control, no damaged goods back on the floor. And this, my friend, is why we ask you to please be gentle with the antique/vintage clothing. 
We would be ok with you coming back if you agree to respect our system. Its simple. Even spaces have boundaries. 

i have been visiting this store for a few years now and am a college student who loves vintage. unfortunately i am on a budget so i’m only able to buy from this store every once in a while, but i genuinely love coming in and seeing their excellent selection. however my love of this store pretty much stops there. the customer service from the majority of the workers there is some of the worst ive witnessed. despite having visited their store for years as both a customer and browser who has NEVER STOLEN ANYTHING, i am consistently treated with disrespect. i will probably continue going because their selection is great but i do not appreciate being talked down to and treated like a thief every time i come in. only giving over 1 star for their curation skills.

I have been to this store many times since moving to Seattle. I have always loved the vintage selection and thought the store associates to have great taste.

Today I went in with my friend and had a horrible experience. The two women working the shop were hawkish and incredibly rude while we shopped. I can empathize with a store that struggles with shoplifting, but they went out of their way to make us feel like criminals (with no cause) for the entirety of our time in the store. They griped at us any time we neared the dressing room, followed us around the store, and basically talked down to my friend who wanted to buy a beautiful vintage gown. The dress fit her perfectly, did they just not want a Korean woman buying it?

Terrible customer experience. Be better.

I’ve tried this shop several times bc I love vintage clothing. The customer service is meh. I feel like they can’t be bothered. It’s not a shop that welcomes browsing bc they treat each item like porcelain—they don’t ask if you need help, but rather follow you around to watch what you’re doing. I just don’t get it and I consider myself an informed vintage shopper, so I’m mindful of handling items appropriately. I've visited a few times with tween(s) who are genuinely interested in vintage clothing and each time it was clear they were not welcome. It seems like an age group who is into fast fashion should be treated better if you really believe in the value of vintage. These are well-mannered kids who should be treated better.
