The people working at Amarcord are some of the nicest, most accommodating and communicative people in the NY vintage sphere. I saw a beautiful capelet in store, and fell in love. They were super helpful and communicative when I contacted them later. They agreed to allow me to purchase it via invoice and even offered to ship it to me free. Even when, at the last minute, I needed to pick it up instead due to scheduling conflicts; they agreed to hold the item for me at the store so that I could take my wonderful new capelet on my trip to Boston. And Marco even helped me find the most perfect vintage cloche hat when I came in to pick it up! They’re the absolute best, their selection is top notch, and you should definitely shop here. I really cannot say enough good things about them. The people behind this store are incredible, and just so kind. Believe me, nowadays, thats not as easy to come by as would think. Marco is such a gem, and so genuine; he and Veronica were both such an absolute pleasure to chat with. To the Amarcord team, thanks again for my cape! Its PERFECT. The is THE best vintage story I have come across in New York City!! Not only were the selections beautiful and in great condition. You can tell that they carefully curate all the pieces. Marco was amazingly helpful and just a beautiful soul. You can tell her really cares for the items he is collecting. I will 100% be adding this to my go to vintage stores as I have yet to see another location beat their selection.

Marco, the owner, is warm and welcoming, encouraging all customers to have fun and enjoy the shopping experience. I've purchased several items here throughout the years and cherish each one.
