The Little Brick House in Minocqua, Wisconsin is a unique antique store that offers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for treasure hunters. As described by one reviewer, it is "the Olympics of unique shopping!" with an owner, Anne, who is "one of the sweetest people you will ever meet."
While the store may appear "a bit overpacked" and "cluttered" to some customers, this eclectic mix of merchandise is part of the charm. As one reviewer notes, "If you're willing to dig to find treasures, check it out!" The inventory is not neatly categorized or priced, but rather a "treasure chest" of unexpected finds, from "1940-50 chalk fruit" to a "funky cement 3 piece alligator" and even "beautiful quilts and art nouveau lamps."
Customers rave about the thrill of the hunt at the Little Brick House, with one stating, "Every where you look is something interesting and unique. Truly an experience!!" Another reviewer appreciates the "unique items to decorate my home and enhance my landscape," as well as the owner's "artistic suggestions." The store seems to cater to shoppers who enjoy a more hands-on, exploratory approach to antique hunting, rather than a streamlined, organized retail experience.
Love this place. Found unique items...Anne is pleasant, helpful, and has artistic suggestions.

It’s the Olympics of unique shopping! Owner Anne is very sweet. Yes it’s a teensy bit overpacked which means if you don’t deal well with tight spaces you may want to do all your shopping in her jam packed outside area! (I found some fabulous tin cowboy mugs for my cowgirl niece in Colorado). But what a treasure chest!

All these negative reviews must be trolls. This place is run by the sweetest old lady you will ever meet. I didn’t see anything that really tickled my fancy here, but the lady running it was by far one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I will definitely be back here next time I’m in this area.

Passed the Little Brick House totally by accident on a recent visit "upnorth". If you are looking for a shop with items all categorized and priced, this isn't the place for you. BUT if you're like me and love the "hunt" and finding unique items, and bargaining a little you've got to stop by! Found some 1940-50 chalk fruit, a hand pump bird bath and a funky cement 3 piece alligator that will be a great conversation piece ( and maybe scare somebody..haha. Cash or personal check only

Interesting place! Caught our attention because of all the metal cages/sculptures/trinkets out by front. A bit unclear about the prices or hours though...

Some nice pieces but too many things piled to navigate safely to pick up/review items. The prices range from ok to, too high and even the "sale" prices were too high from very similar items I've seen at other stores. I am not a bot, live in Northern WI, in Minocqua all the time.
