Updated Review - 2/22/25: I went to the new Racine Habitat for Humanity ReStore today.  It is really nice!  I needed some tongue and groove flooring and they had exactly what I was looking for.  Super friendly people at the cash register.  I can’t wait to go back!

Original Review: A fun place to go look around and find stuff you need…. or find stuff you didn’t realize you needed before you got there.  They have everything…. furniture, doors, dollies, doorknobs, shelving, fans, lights, toilets, sinks, tools, and thousands of other things.  It is a great place to go if you are restoring an old house.  We love going to ReStore.  I recommend going at least once just to check it out.

The restore is one of the best kept secrets in Racine! Find a bargain and help build a home. Its a great place to donate to a good cause and find an affordable way to improve your home.

This is a great group of people that keep the store organized. Great source of odds and ends of small hardware. Amazing selection of business grade desks,carts and anything you can think of. Restore is the first place I think of to find furniture (some antique). I will always donate to them as well. Never a mark up for huge profit like some thrift stores lately.  Definitely recommend this store and look forward to exploring their new location in 2025.

This place has all sorts of pre-owned building materials.  It's amazing.  They also have a front section with furniture.

They have some of everything you could need to repair a home or upgrade a rental. Some supplies are new. Some appliances are refurbished. I will be back.

A place that gets different things all the time. Sometimes new things are donated. When you buy from them you are supporting a good cause.

Awesome place. Manager and volunteer workers are very helpful. Lots of supplies to help with all your home projects. We really saved a lot. We outfitted our bathroom with fixtures from the store. Toilet, vanity, faucet,
Shower base, light fixtures, and tile.

Great place to shop for bargain hunters. Also you can donate any furniture household appliances, leftover materials from projects and things you just no longer want or need.

ULINE donates new items there. There are many things to choose from would regard to building materials, furniture, tools, house ware, office stuff & most reasonable.

So fun to shop searching for treasures. The people who volunteer there are remarkable!
There are some beautiful pieces of wood waiting to become something fabulous.

I heard about this place for years, but never had a reason to stop by and look inside.  This place is packed with little of everything from A-Z for your home projects. Stop by only if you have a little time on your hand to browse around. There is a lot to see and super prices compared to retail if they have what you want.

I've found so many amazing pieces here!  The volunteers who work here are incredibly kind and helpful.  If you want an amazing one of a kind piece for a great price, look no further.  My main advice is come prepared with measurements and a solid plan on how to transport your finds home.  While they have dollies, it's your own responsibility to get your purchases to your own vehicle.

It was a great experience and there was enough inventory that you can usually find what you need and things you didn't know you needed.  Everybody was helpful.  The store was VERY organized.

Love this place. Nice selection. Though some things cost more than I'd like to pay, I love that the proceeds go to a good charity. Everyone who works there is so helpful and friendly.

This store has anything and everything you could think of, plus great prices.

Love the concept. I was dropping off some things for donation. Less things in our landfills. Had so much fun looking around.

Haven't had a chance to digest this one yet. But, as soon as you walk into the door there you know they have something you want, and don't mind paying for....

Just popped in because I haven't been in the store in 6 months. Plenty of industrial/business metal cabinets, lockers, tables. A bunch of new bathroom vanities. Smaller selections of toilets & sinks. Ok amount of furniture today. However most of the time the furniture in the front room is not my taste. Good day for me because there not alot of people in store.  Didn't  find any thing I HAD to have today.

I LOVE the ReStore!! Every time i go in there i find things i didn't know i needed at a steal for a price! The people volunteering there are always wonderful and helpful too! Amazing!!!

Restore has such a variety of goods that each visit is full of surprises. Even found a unique sprinkler for my garden.

Always worth a walk-through. Never know what you'll find! You can follow them on Facebook, they post pictures of cool items sometimes!

Pretty neat place. Lots of things to look at. Prices are very reasonable on many items. If you are looking for an interesting piece or vintage home replacement parts this is the spot for you. Cool old doors, cabinets, knobs, hinges, lighting. Worth a walk thru if you are out that way.

I bought a headboard,sink, facuets all kinds of misc. hardware at an unbelievable low price. I love this store. Could spend hours looking at all the possibilities for my home. As a first time home owner it has been a good send.

Great place to check if you're trying to make inexpensive changes/upgrades or whatever, especially to a rental property. Most inventory with larger quantities are cheaper than retail store. Only buy what you WILL use.

This is a fantastic store with items for anyone repairing their home, everything you can think of for home improvement from the smallest bolt, to slabs of granite, EVERYTHING !!each week they have different items and it also gives back to the community, and you can replace anything in your home, love it!!And the prices are so low on the things that you need, especially home investors would love this, you could turn a flop of a home into a beautiful place, especially for those who know what they are doing, can't say enough about this store!!!

This is a great place. You can find anything there from Little screws and nails any kind of hardware and always a good selection of well used furniture and household items. It's all donations and volunteers.

I'm a huge fan of this place!! My only exception is the older lady who works there. She always seems to have a bit of an attitude. I went in there to buy a bi-fold door and 2 chairs. Because I was by myself,  I brought each item up one by one. When I was checking out,  she asked me if a separate chair, (brown wooden), was mine. I told her no, just the 2 green ones. I even pulled the stickers off of them and gave them to her. I pay and start loading up my truck. Before I leave,  I look at my receipt and notice she charged me for the wood chair. I went in to make her aware and get my money back. This is when she decides to argue with me,  like I'm a theif. She goes to my truck, set on proving wrong. Sees that there's no said chair, slightly apologizes, and starts to give me some story about mistaken identity,  whatever. As she proceeds to give me my refund she makes the comment that they don't give refunds, only in-store credit, but she'll do it because it was her fault. Yet, she still has an attitude. If I had not been pressed for time,  I would have spoken with a manager.  So here I am instead. People be aware of her and what she's charging you. Habitat: put her in the back where she doesn't have to be around people. She's not a people person.

Google maps got me there but if you never been there before you have to pay good attention I didn't see the sign until I passed it but other than that there is some good stuff here and prices were very reasonable.

If you're looking for something you didn't know you needed, this is the place. We purchased a used sofa that fit my back perfectly with support after surgery. Brought in our old one for resale, too. I like the cost of electrical stuff, like outlets and switches. When the paint is available, the prices are great. Lots of larger hutches and tables for the right house. I go here about every other month just to look.

Great place to browse, never know what you will find. You can find some real treasures or someones junk. Pricing on many items is good, some not so good.  Just have to cruise through like almost any Habitate stores.

After a challenging experience, I have to say the staff came back and went above and beyond to make things right. I do love this place for one-of-a-kind pieces and parts to make your space special.

The place can get pretty busy, and there are a lot of people moving big pieces. I do recommend taking your items the day of purchase. It makes it easier for all parties.

Located on Dekoven St just south of Taylor Avenue, this thrift store of sorts is associated with Habitat for Humanity. There is a wide assortment of various household items, tools, sinks, trinkets, collectible antique like items and too much to mention. The square footage is impressive and they have the inventory to match. The employees are extremely friendly. If you're into "thrifting" you must check this place out.

With HOBO gone you can find a lot of vintage furniture & building supplies. You never know what unique things you will find

Some stuff is ok, some is over priced. I brought a bunch of stuff in to donate, but didn't get anything today. Parking lot is horrible if you have a big vehicle.

Find some great deals on housewares, appliances, electrical stuff, and industrial stuff sometimes. Inventory is constantly changing and you really have to dig through stuff but it's worth the time.  Only wish their hours were expanded.

Staff is always friendly, some things over priced.  But still go regularly to see what bargains there are.

A little pricey compared to Facebook Marketplace.  The hours are rather inconvenient, but they have a very large selection of "rummage sale" items for your home improvement projects.

They did have furniture when I was there.  Dressers, hutches, couches, kitchen tables and lots of chairs

I would say their bathroom parts selection was the most complete.  Could have done a decent full bathroom remodel using nothing but items from the ReStore.  Tiles, vanity tops, toilets, vanity.  Didn't see any tubs this trip.

I didn't find as many vintage items as I was hoping for, as I was trying to find doors and period pieces for my 1920's home.

Hi, well i went to this store today and they are selling the vinyl and laminate floor a $1 sq, ft.  when i can go to the store and get it for the same price or cheaper! my point here, these are donations that people make to this store so they can sell it to people for a cheaper price than the biggest stores out there. when people go to this place is because they can't afford regular prices.  here is an image of my point this image is from a big store>>>

Very nice and organized, but over priced for a non profit store. I can buy the same item for about 15% more at a retail store and be able to return it if I need too.

Not the "deal"  they once were.  Unless you are looking for old hardware or really hard to find stuff.  Menards is cheaper and has a return policy. I will not be back.

Used to love shopping here. Seems over the past year prices have gone way up on everything.  Only shop there once a month now just to kill time
