We visited the Plaid Bear for the second time today as we live about 4 hours away and only make it up here once a year. When we showed up Friday the doors were closed, I looked them up on Facebook, to find they have limited hours this time of year as the owner was out of town. I thought I’d send a message and see if they had hours open when we would be there this weekend. Even though they did not have open hours this past weekend, the owner happily and promptly message back and offered to have Barb come on in and open the place up just for us to shop! Barb was so incredibly sweet and helpful, took time out of her own Sunday to enjoy/talk and let us shop! We didn’t feel rushed at all and got all the adorable goodies this place has to offer! 10/5 stars! Such cute apparel and decor! Customer service from everyone was outstanding! Made us feel super special today! Can’t wait to go back next year ❤️

Saw this shop on Facebook, so I stopped by to check out. The owner was working and was super nice! They offered free wrapping before Christmas, which I thought was awesome. Loved the two wall hangings, slippers, and gloves I purchased. Will definitely stop in again.

We were super excited to visit The Plaid Bear. They had so much merchandise to choose from, everything was cute & very well made. Prices were reasonable, we left with a sweatshirt, hat & mug. I would definitely stop in on future visits. Karmen, the owner, of course is a ray of sunshine 🌞.

The owner is passionate, helpful and accommodating! This is one of the absolute best places to stop and get you the coziest northwoods themed hoodie or t! There is something for everyone from cabin decor, silly magnets, hats, cute boots, boutique style clothing, purses, hoodies, jackets and more! The punch card is an additional perk!
