Great for thrift finds... clothes, knick knacks, coats, artwork, books. Donate to Savers and get a 20% in store coupon. Don't throw away things that others can still use. Some of the money Savers makes goes towards helping charities.

I usually ONLY buy books at Savers stores as I am very picky about clothing so my review is based on my purchase. I stopped on Monday April 7th around 3:30pm and purchased 5 books for $10. I found the store to be very clean, no musky smell and well organized for all the items they have. Additionally the parking lot is great as it is spacious and a quick walk across the lot. I had an inquiry about furniture and it was answered by the 3 individuals standing around the register. I do not expect many guarantees from a thrift store so for me it was a great experience and I will go back to donate furniture that may be of use to someone. Happy Shopping!

The best savers hands down.. so clean and neat.. and organized.. And no sign of men who creep the cart people..that is so annoying.. Just let the employees get the merchandise out.. don't make them feel uncomfortable 😣

I have been going to savers for 9 years. I went yesterday to one of the other locations and was disgusted, by the bathroom situation in particular and it gives the wrong sentiment towards its customer base (poor, dirty, cheap, thieves), that store had no soap, no hand towels, and the floor made your skin crawl. It was the worst experience. I felt terrible for the workers actually!!! I wouldn't even want to work there, let alone shop there if the bathroom situation is like this. I did not check the bathroom here, but what i can say is the store is new and clean. I was informed about this location driving by one of the public buses with the grand opening ad on it. I thought I'd make a trip to see even though it's been open like 2 days so far?? I was blown away!!! It's spectacular, clean, everything new and fresh. The staff have been working diligently to make a strong first impression. It looks like a higher end environment. I felt respected as a customer. The lighting was beautiful, the shelves were bright, white, and clean, the glass counters were like a high-end jewelry place. The plates were showcased like a nice store would. The staff were not pushy (i was pushed /unnecessarily/ at a different location yesterday during my self checkout). This new location shares a new message about thrift. We thrift for many reasons, because it's economical, it's more environmentally friendly, it supports our local communities, etcetcetc. The fact is thrift is growing and gaining momentum. More people are thrifting now than in the past and will continue. People are also becoming more informed about the benefits of thrift and choosing to thrift over the more conventional ways that dont exactly have our best interest and ethics in mind. This new store sets the foundation of respecting its customers no matter the reason why we thrift. Not just treating us subconsciously as (less than for how we spend our money) A few years ago i visited the goodwill in NYC and that was also a very terrible experience. With a security guard watching me and checking my bag like I'm a criminal. I think i had to check my bag at the door, actually. I walked right out. It was awful. And that's the sentiment sometimes thrift stores have towards its customers. As mentioned above. Im happy ive never been treated to that extent, on Long Island, and im even happier this new store has made an effort to respect its customers and change the narrative of what thrift means and what thrift can be going forward. I even saw they had hand sanitizers going out the door, which is always a nice gesture. The price was comparable to the other savers thrift stores. I don't know how long things will be upkept , as yes of course a new store wants the very best impression, but so far i am impressed from the start with the whole experience. And would love to visit again :)
